you need to have the sensor in your front side panel to have this self park assist. if you don't have any sensors in your front side panel you can't activate this option by coding.
@@swift2117 You know that having the front side view camera and the reverse camera together is called the 360° camera. Also he has the front side view camera. You can see on the idrive screen that it shows the back camera, the left front site and the front right site. Combined this is called the 360° camera system. F30 doesn't have front cameras that's why you'll never see it. Only on the back but if you order the 360° you'll also get the front camera looking to the left from your front bumper and on the right of the front bumper

I have an F30 myself and at times it asks me if I want to park parallel or 90 degrees (sry I don't know how to properly say it in English). Is there a way to set that manually? Can it even park 90 degrees?
omg, i was indside the parking slot before you start reversing. i have BMW 440i full without park assist. one thing i not use... and the awufull sound, you hear it otuside, all peopel. danmn , i would laughing you. ^^ :D

my BMW series 3 F30 2012 has parking assist but the sensors are broken so I have to repair it before I even get to see if I have this feature

It is an extra optional feature. Doesn't work without 360° camera

I don’t think so. Parking assistance need 6 parking sensors for both front and rear side. But PDC only have 4 on each side.
You can't.....check the beside the front doors.....if you don't have a sensor there....you don't have this auto parking
