Most of the 'arrivals' are low at Phuket airport... else they'd never land at all :-) .... except for one naff landing by the captain of the Aeroflot @ 1:40 which came in too high and bounced back into the air.
Skiathos airport has much lower landings because the runway is short. Phuket's runway is 3 km long and pilots do not rush to land as quickly as possible.
