Wound Dressing - How do transparent film dressings work?

There are a lot of different dressings...simple dressing like gauze but also more advanced dressings.
Transparent film dressings are nice for superficial abrasions, first degree burns, skin tears or sutured closures.
They let the wound "breath" by allowing gas exchange and are permeable for water! They are impermeable to protein, bacterial or dirt so they help protect the wound.
Of course make sure you reach out to your physician if you have questions or concerns about your health, though I hope you enjoyed the education!

I saw your wound dressing video and i can’t seem to find a wide variety in sizes for this product puracol plus collagen wound dressing I’m curious if theirs a website or place I can buy all sizes and more dressings that would be awesome 🤙
