I'm the owner of honda amaze & my brother is the owner of aura. As per our review honda amaze is far better than Aura. 1 time driving experience u can not judge. Honda car is very smooth when u travel for long drive. I think you get paid from hundai I'm definitely sure. Give original reviews. We are 100 percent not satisfied your reviews

I have Amaze S Diesel, In my openion, Amaze has top notch looks in its segment,
Engine is powerful, Has 1.5 litre engine
As you said, Mileage is very good, i.e. city- 20-22 and on highway it's- 24-26
It does has armrest at back
Mentenence cost is less.
However, In Interior I feel Aura is more better.
I am driving aura sx petrol since last 2 weeks.
My unbiased review till now is as follows:
Pros:
1.elegant look and style.
2. Cabin gives a premium feel. Specially the touchscreen panel and the dash looks very classy.
3. Feature rich car in below/around 8 lakh segment.
4. Boot space is huge, just behind amaze in this segment.
5. On highway, even if you touch 130-140 , steering feels very steady and gives confidence.
6. Rear ac vents, a must have for indian summers! And rear arm rest, a good touch. Though front arm rest is missing, one can retrofit it like i have done.
Cons:
1. Average mileage. With ac in city 13kmpl.
With ac in long distance 16kmpl ( not too good not too bad). Similar to both amaze and aspire.
2. Suspension seems to be fine for small potholes, but for bigger ones, the cabin makes a very irritating noise which doesn't give much confidence. NOT A CAR FOR BAD ROADS.
3. Built quality is very average. Not as strong as ford aspire or honda amaze in this segment. One of the orvms was touched by a bicycle while driving and the orvm broke into pieces. The impact was absolutely light. It was beyond my understanding how did this happen. Similar impacts happened to my wagon r orvms but they are still fine after 5 years. Very sorry to say but built quality doesnt give much confidence.
5. Two good features missing in the sx model which should have been given, auto ac and led projector headlamps. Both features are present in sx(o).
6. Inbuilt navigation system is missing, one has to depend on android auto for navigation. Inbuilt navigation is present in ford aspire at almost similar/lesser price.
7. Rear seat width is less, would not accommodate more than 2 adults and 1 child. It is lesser than all other cars in this segment.
Overall judgement after 2 weeks: Though i was overwhelmed with its looks and features and bought aura, after using it for two weeks, i felt spending a bit extra and going for the honda amaze vx model would have been the best bet for this segment. Ford aspire titanium plus is also good at similar price as aura sx. But if you dont want to compromise on features and comfort both, i would recommend spend a bit more (around 50k) and go for honda amaze vx model.
I am already feeling a bit upset that maybe this was not my best buy! But hopefully, with more time, aura will be able to change my opinion.
I'm planning to buy Aura S CNG Variant because my daily running is 50 kms and CNG is most economical (in Delhi NCR)

I agree with you. AC vents in Amaze is awesome. It cools the whole car within 2-3 minutes. Moreover, passengers in the rear seat can easily get the cool air to the back. I feel that this is the reason why AC vents in the rear was not given.
Aura cools whole car in 2 minutes on lowest speed & you can't use ac more then 20% or 2nd fan speed it's that chill

This is a biased review for sure. I own Amaze it has arm rest at the rear. In fact all variants do have it, if I am not mistaken. On top of that I easily stuff three LARGE bags easily into the boot. He did not mention many of the features Amaze has. The super silent and refined engine, height adjustable driver seat, most powerful AC in the segment, very good connectivity, excellent driveability, very good suspension, very good thigh support at the back and many more. Please share the NCAP rating of both cars. Please go for ASEAN NCAP also. You can't feel the 4 star just by driving it. ACE structure of Amaze he did not read about it. And guys my service bill charges were only Rs. 2800. recently. I could go on and on. You please check yourself before buying. AND OF COURSE MY COMMENT IS NOT SPONSORED.

Amaze is also just an extended BRIO...also, Brio, Jazz, Amaze & WRV have the same monocouque & engines
I have tested aura and amaze. Amaze is much spacious, the suspension is much softer in amaze hence feels more premium. I felt aura's steering too light and unresponsive compared to amaze. And the 4star rating amaze has got is mainly for the crash test, which proves that the metal and overall build quality of amaze is very good. I have booked amaze after driving both the cars.
In some videos, I have seen Amaze VX Petrol CVT owners complaining about rear suspension being very soft, rattling sounds coming from glovebox, rear seat unable to accommodate 3 people. Is it true ?

Hyundai Aura SX ( O ) To enable cruise control, for every ignition / start up 1. Clutch input (clutch pedal operation), 2. Neutral switch input (gear change) and 3. Brake input (Brake pedal operation) all the three inputs are mandatory then only cruise function will works, & Difficulties to enable or set cruise control in a plain surface and even vehicle drive above 80km/hr with out apply break pedal operation or break input cruise will not work.... must required to apply break at least one time before enable or set cruise control for every ignition or every start up....... in other competitor brands cruise control functions works good and with out any above mandatory inputs

AC of Amaze is the best. Probably if you use, you would know better. One wont miss rear ac vents. It has got same ac unit as honda city. Also, rear arm rest do exist from the second base model onwards. This is the top model you are reviewing, so it must exist. (May be under the seat cover, under d zip :) ). Agree with the suspension noise though.
Arm rest come only in top variant. In rest you can opt as accessory. I have second top VMT

IN CASE OF ENGINES..1.2 AMAZE PETROL ENGINE IS VERY SLUGGISH.. AURA'S PETROL ENGINE IS FAR BETTER.
Those who are looking into buying a Amaze should go forward with the purchase. I've been using the Vx diesel for over a year now. I have been driving it on mostly rough to broken roads as they are constructing a express highway in our area. Nothing is rattling or broken as of yet which justifies its build quality. Performace is also decent & the mileage numbers are insanely good. Handling is also good if you consider it's a 10 lakh car & not a Jaguar.
Did you get any DPF issues in case yours is BS6 model?

Amaze is way better than Aura as well as Dzire whether it's build quality, driving dynamics,looks,comfort etc you name it,it has all the basic features which a customer expects although Amaze do need some addition of more features. Seems like the designers of Hyundai are now believing in overstyling first aura then creta and upcoming is new i20.

Nice overall review but it seems you are a little biased on Aura. While you well highlighted the disadvantages of Amaze over Aura but not Vice versa. Next you said Amaze does not have rear arm rest which is incorrect, it does. Thirdly you said Amaze does not have rear cup holder in the middle above the charging socket, it does which you can use for keeping mobile phones while charging.

By and Large Hyundai is trying to fool us with the same design same car by using different names.

Suzuki ne Baleno 2015 ya 2016 main launch ki thi tab se koi changes nahi kiye hain unhone. They are selling us 5 years older model to us in 2020. i20 ki New model aane wali hain .Also in Crash test Suzuki cars never performed well they get 1* or 2* . Lastly decision is yours . Telling this because I did research to buy new car for me
And also Altroz is also good car. You can see sales record of June 2020 in which Sales of Altroz are on 2nd position in this segment

I am using Amaze CVT petrol from 4 yrs. Very comfortable, for long drive also. Very reliable, brand itself is top class.
Because of CVT no fatigue and can drive 400 km in a day with one stop only.

Final verdict: Aura is derived from Grand i10 nios..... interiors mein koi difference ni h nios nd Aura mein....the only difference is boot space

I own cvt version. Only drawback is it is little hard to do overtakes. Rest are best.
Plus point is - it can run faster than the manual versions while the green lights goes on. That I enjoy every time.
