Wow, I never thought I would get schooled with so much great info in this short video... Many thanks for your efforts and unselfishness to share your great knowledge with the world!! God Bless!!
We are in Houston Texas we have a 3 in 1 Apple tree that give us lots of apples . We have Fuji tree that wasn’t grafted has given us not even one. We bought a 2 in one which is grafted with a Anna and Fuji Apple we have our hopes up high.We have several fruit trees and we are excited but we have lost several citrus and avocado trees to winter climates 😞 we will keep an eye out for your great videos keep teaching up we are here for it! Stay blessed 🙏🏼
This was very interesting. We are lucky, the native bees we have, tend to go after the pollen, so less worried about the honey bees. The best being the Blue Banded Bee, which seems to do the same as your bumblebee. But what is interesting is you answered a question about why our trees flower over a month rather than all at once. So again the unique climate we have is affecting the trees. I am in Melbourne, right on top of Mornington Pennuslar to be exact, we have temps that go close to 0C and have chill hours over 1000+ thanks to the water around, and yet during spring are warm enough to trigger the month-long bloom. To give some people an idea, I have high bush blueberries planted under a mango tree lol
I am Trinidad 🇹🇹 I bought king david and lady William apple plants a few years ago. This week the king david flowered while lady while has been flowering 2yrs. So hopeful we will have apples this year
Thank you, that was super! My trees bloom at slightly different times . My first one is just loaded with blossoms but the other two...nothing. I will see if I can borrow a branch from someone. From Canada
Thanks for the education. From Nigeria I am trying hard to grow warm climate Apple. So now I have managed to get one in its second year. Unfortunately i don't know what variety it is. O If my one apple tree can't polinate what should I do?
I have a beautiful early harvest apple tree. It's April 14 and it's blooming. Never get fruit, so I need to find a mate. We don't have other apple trees in our neighborhood. Can pollen be purchased? I'm in Bloomington, IN.

Very informative, thank you. I've been making this more difficult than it needs to be.

Some apples require " chill hours" to bear fruit .
Do your trees go dormant and drop their leaves?
