@@IceCream-ym2bq Good luck. You might be intimidated by not having one of the local languages but the locals grow up learning 3 or 4 languages because it is so useful to them as a nation to be this international financial hub. So certainly in the capital, you'll have few problems with just English. Getting out to the countryside is highly recommended as they have loads of interesting walking routes. Great castles too! It usually ranks as the richest country in the world by GDP per capita and you'll start to appreciate it once you are there.
I am from Luxembourg and it's definitely not the most expensive country in the world. It is the richest though. It is not cheap at all, but countries like Switzerland are far more expensive than Luxembourg!
There is a Luxembourg in Iowa. The town was actually settled by people from Luxembourg whose descendants still inhabit the town in Eastern Iowa. It’s a pretty place, though not as pretty as the original Luxembourg.
Hi… I’m so excited about this place… I’m looking for a place to visit for some months… Can you tell me in your experience if you think people can survive if they only know English???
It's not the second smallest country after Malta. You need to review your geography. Consider Andorra, Monaco, San Marino, Liechtenstein, and even the Vatican. It's not a "duchery" but a "duchy".
I lived in Luxembourg for 3 years. The quality of life there is excellent.
Ok why you left?
@@IceCream-ym2bq I'd like to be still there to be honest.
Am moving there in 4 years From America. 💛@@StimParavane

Wow. Looks so nice. Never been there in my whole life.
30€ for a Bouchée à la Reine? No wonder the Restaurant was half-empty, most charge half of that (as in 12-20€) for this pretty basic dish.
Which restaurants do you recommend for traditional Luxembourg food?
But it was delicious
@@discovershare1221 Hotel Restaurant Siewebueren would be a good place, Briddelerstuff also but they're quite expensive.
Kitchens close at 2pm ? I wake up around that time.
Most restaurants only open for lunch from 11AM to 14/15AM and then re-open in the evening from 6PM to 11/12PM
Thanks for clarifying I thought I couldnt have dinner put@nerucheung
@@nerucheungthanks this was so helpful ❤

It's the second-smallest in the EU, maybe he confused "Europe" with "EU", which are NOT the same thing
