as a soon-to-be school leaver, im applying to several degree apprenticeships and i did a trading simulator recently where i showed a lot of skills mentioned here and you have crafted a really good video which showed how i can utilise the skills i learnt in applications to appeal to recruiters. thank you so much
It's not related to this video, but i hope you do your take on The Industry TV show season 3 once it becomes available. I enjoyed watching your videos. 😊
I am doing job treasury department in bank and look after Fx forward and bonds. Planning to do CFA and FRM. Do you thing am i right path ? And what should i do more fr career growth?
I have a great passion for the markets and investments. But I am a career changer who would be trying to enter the industry in my late 40s. Is that highly unlikely, as recruiters only want younger people who they perceive to be more energetic and malleable? If so, than do you have any ideas on other options for someone in my situation who's interested in markets and investments?
Great video thank you. We would be interested in a similar video for summer interns. I understand that all skills would apply, but if you have any tips on a summer intern level that would be great. On our level (summer) there is a chicken and egg effect where we require work experience within the field eg corp finance before applying to the IB summer. In those cases, how can we build up and communicate our knowledge beyond work experience? I would like to boost my CV targeting ER. Do you have online resources other than forage etc to help us? I have 1 experience in FX in my first year of uni, president of an investment society, founded an equity research group with my mates, 1 in ER in my second year, now moving to my 3rd year of university. I am unsure about what I would like to do in the future but having an unrealistic profile for IB (both internships taught me so much but they were in small firms), I think my profile may be more suited to ER as a stepping stone into IB in the future. Could you/people please give me their opinions on that front?

Great video. I believe point #8 was the most poignant. Employers can’t resist passion for the field. It the Trump card in my opinion. I had helped me land Finance jobs after bombing the technicals!
As a beginner investor, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. Elizabeth regina nelsen is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessment, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.

Investment banking can be quite lucrative if you know what you're doing, but it also comes with its fair share of risks.
That's true. I've dabbled in investment banking myself, but I prefer to leave the heavy lifting to the professionals.
