They should make Larry it's own card. A common card consisting of 1 skeleton costing zero elixir unlockable in training camp with the damage of a level 16 pekka, the hp of a level 16 golem, the hit speed of a dart goblin, and with the bandits invincible dash ability
It still depends on the formation of the bats. If they are more laterally together, they are more likely/ guaranteed to get a hit since the princes has less time to shoot them all before they arrive. If they are more scattered or basically in a line, they won’t make it to the princess tower. So it is justified to speak of a counter (as Skeletons are less elixir than bats) if the certain formation is approaching the princes tower.
They only connect if the bats have already defended something that they clumped around. If the opponent places bats at the bridge they will never connect

This is an amazing guide! I've been showing it to all the players I know, even if they know most of these I'm sure there's some they don't know or can't replicate the exact placement every time. It's great to see that this guide is up to date. Balance changes could change how some of these interactions work so it's nice to have a guide on this made so recently! I think you could also add onto this and have a guide for ways skeles can really help on defense but not completely mitigate all dmg. Even though it's not as extreme as fully countering cards with skeles, there's a lot of other cards where you can really mitigate the dmg they do or negate their dmg completely if the skeles are just used as support. You could also do other interaction guides on different spells or troops. There's some nifty placements for a lot of interactions, like placing a mpekka perfectly so it fully counters a hog without taking any hits or using bats + log for no tower hits from a hog as well.. just using these as examples, but there's tons of interactions worth knowing. Even if you don't play the troop involved in initiating the interaction, it's good to know if your opponent has the option to do it against you

You know I actually didnt know the baby dragon one but if they place baby dragon behind king tower you can activate king tower with skeles + any card that doesnt move for a little more than a second
@@captainjacksparrow3191 I meant to split skeletons in the middle so by the time dark prince comes he sees a single skeleton and charges there and when he kills it the second split skeleton sees it and comes back and then the third comes back and all of this while both towers are shooting at him

i love how people think a lightspell automatically makes these counters obsolete. You do realize if your opponent spends extra elixir for a light spell on top of the elixir they've already spent on the unit itself, you can just drop another card and still get a positive elix trade. Not to mention the only lightspells that would be fast enough (besides predictions) would be zap or rage since literally every other lightspell either costs more or is too slow to get anything done
You forgot to mention goblin brawler, all 4 spirit, electro dragon (similar to baby d) Also frame perfect skeletons counter goblin barrel if you split them early enough behind princess tower
And this is why i'm surprised that some mfs have this card underleveled and don't use them, I thought it was common knowledge skellies are really good and versatile, i use them on almost every deck and have em almost max, while some of my clanmates have them level 9 when they have most of their cards maxed and level 14. a mystery indeed
Because level doesn't really matter for skellis. They will die to small spells regardless of their levels, they are more of a distractions and you dont need levels for that. Would you for example prioritize maxing out skellis over any of the cards in hog 2.6 deck?
@@cinderburn2660 it does matter if you want to counter musketeer, e wiz, and it helps with pekkas, prince, bandit, etc. You're foolish for saying it doesn't matter. Levels don't matter to a 2.6 player, if you're not maxed with a deck that has only 1 legendary and no epics then what're you doing
@@bootleg6595 Nope am not foolish to say it doesnt. You can counter bandit, prince or pekka with severely underleveled skellis. Skellis dmg only really matters if you are countering win conditions like giants or hogs but if you are left in a situation wherein you have to rely on skellis dmg to counter those, then you just screw up on your elix counting. There is a priority list on what and what not to upgrade asap in any deck and it is not really a mystery why skellis are not high on the must upgrade list.

• Two tower center placement
• surround/top enemy troop

I seem to recall being able to counter Bowler with skeletons but I'm not too sure. Think you can counter Minion Horde with them as well.
