I am looking at a Tsunami duralight 140 manufactured in 2005. It is supposed to be lighter than the standard Tsunami 140 by about 12 lbs. Do you think there is much change in the hull design since 2005? It is a very good price with rudder but I do not want to buy it thinking I am getting all that is positive about the Tsunami only to find out there was some changes in hull design that makes the 13 year old design not live up to the design of the last 5 years or so. Can you share any info with me?
To my knowledge, nothing significant has changed in respect to the hull design of the Tsunami series. That said, there have been a few changes to the outfitting over the years, but nothing that would take away from the on-water performance.
it would be nice to see these types of yaks come in other colors rather than the standard green, red, yellow and blue. Good review.
Appreciated the review. Just like being in the store.
Great review... Thank you
How would you compare the tsunami vs the pungo series?
I wish the new ones had the day hatch.
