Samsung seems ready to gives what could be a more expensive Galaxy S25 series. Nothing might not be necessarily known for flagships but rumors claim that’s about to change. I have already checked the price. The price has increased again for based model only. not even 16gb ram. sucks Samsung as Iif am going to die using China phone. Well I am now using one of China Phone Honor Magic 6 pro...excellent phone and excellent monthly update.

Not sure if preorders might be the best deals or if the Ultra hasn't been selling well over the years. Maybe Samsung targets users with older Samsung phones. Last year I finally traded in my Note 20 Ultra. They gave me $600 for a four year old phone. Plus with all the extra credit, it came out to be $599 before taxes. I also go free case, buds pro 2, and screen protector. If I had to pay full price I would have passed. I think Samsung use to offer more money for last year models. I could be wrong but it seems like they offered a really compelling offer for older flagships last year.
Samsung, so-called early deals have sucked these past few years. Any price hike is just greed and not inflation, but greedflation. If profits are up and prices increase, it's just greed.

Not going to pay more for a phone that still uses old battery tech that has lesser capacity than the oneplus 13.
If there is gonna be a price hike. Better have different set of cameras. Not just an upgrade to the wide angle lens which I would argue is probably the least used out of the 4. I also heard they mite be taking Bluetooth out of the s pen, no more gestures or camera shutter control if so. Same wired charging speed, same size of battery, yeah that would be a hell no for me. Sticking with the s24u.

Could be more but these prices are getting out of hand and better off with s24 ultra on sale, pixel or one plus 13 to be honest.

I’m a year over year S series upgrader. I’ll get the S25 U If out of pocket cost same as last year comparing my invoice for my S24U with my S23U then I’ll upgrade. Samsung might have preorder deals to offset the cost.
I can't imagine spending over $1K for a phone. My Pixel 6 is still holding strong over 3 years later, and I bought it for less than $600. I've been tempted by the OnePlus 13R as it fits my budget, but I will hold off a bit longer as I feel the upper mid-range will have some heavy hitters this year.
Too much for a phone that doesn't cost $50 to make. I'll be sticking with my s22 again. Boycott 1 year and the prices will come down.

It cost well over $500 for each ultra device. Then you tack on all the operating cost. That's why it cost over $1,000 to get what we're getting. My s23 ultra cost $469 per unit to make.
On my s22+ and disappointed with Samsung's offering. Might as well switch to an iphone this year when 17 comes out.

It is very hard to justify even the current Ultra pricing when the OnePlus 13 exists. Mine has been delayed due to the fires, but I can't wait to get it in the coming weeks 💪

If they increase the price, the best way to enjoy this phone is to buy it next year January when its 350 dollars less, at least in my country.
If it wasn't for carriers and their trade in deals and low monthly payments, we probably wouldn't be able to afford flagships. When we used to be on prepaid, we had the budget phones. But, I won't be getting an S25 phone, keeping my s24 plus for the long haul.

For now, i'm sticking with my s24Ultra. Not enough of an upgrade to switch for me. Also...I usually use Samsung's trade in program... but last year's trade in was a nightmare. My trade in phone got stolen from the box, most likely at Samsung. They claimed i sent an empty box... it took a few weeks but I got the issue squared away.
I don't think i'll be using the mail in trade in program anymore.
Welp i guess ill keep it for 5 years minimum if i get it at that price.

I honestly like the native customization of Samsung rather than OnePlus. Miniscule things like quick settings customization, and navigation bar customization. Also when I use do not disturb, I like the prompt to set a time for it to end, which OnePlus stopped. I also like that fast charging isn't proprietary on Samsung like it is on OnePlus. To be clear, I loved my OnePlus when it came out and it had the real oxygenos, but after the switch, I'm headed back to Samsung. Loved my s22 when I had it, it just was HORRIBLE on battery life (apparently an issue with a few s22s)
I just bought the s24 ultra, the price dropped down and in the end the difference want be that big after all
S24 ultra owner here, i tend to buy a new phone every 1-1.5 years. The only way i would be tempted to buy the s25 ultra with the price hike is if it had atleast a 30-50% longer lasting battery (battery on my phone is still great). I have no urge to buy it even if it stayed at the same price but i technically got my phone for free so i want to ride it out until it dies or battery/camera tech gets better since performance wise its already fast. If the new phone has the photo performance of the one plus, video performance and efficiency of the iPhone and features of samsung, then i would buy immediately.
Battery power doesn't matter, it all depends on what you use your phone for, and what you play and watch,
as to leaving apps open for notifications, Bluetooth left on gobbling up more power, and not turning on power saving mode,
all these drain it up more than you think on any phone, can't have a brick size battery in you're pocket,
@@martincowling6562 I 100% agree with you, I try to optimize my phone settings to get the most battery out of it, when I'm talking about 30-50% longer lasting battery I meant more efficiency, not a brick sized battery in my pocket. a chip with less power draw and same performance as an 8 Gen 3 and same battery size would undoubtedly give you more battery life. its up to the user and what they do with the settings to determine how much SOT they can get but keeping all settings the same would still net more SOT.

I always optimize my phone for longevity regardless if its Apple, Google or Samsung. what I meant by Longer lasting battery is more on the side of efficiency vs bigger battery, a chip that draws less power but as fast as SD 8 Gen 3 will undoubtedly give your phone more SOT.
I'm done with Samsung, and their price hikes.

Musk buying TikTok is like the platform getting rectal cancer. Samsung is going to shoot themselves in the foot with a price hike. Besides, OnePlus probably already released the Android phone for the year with the 13 and it’s cheaper than S25 Ultra.
Flagship phones are a waste of money. You're better off investing it. The Flagship phone won't pay your rent when it goes up again. Buy last year's flagship if you need a new phone.

One thing i think you should bring to this channel from pocket now is the way you title your videos. Its hard to know what will be covered in the video when theres only 1 topic in the title and thumbnail. This leads me to beleive that the video will only be about 1 thing at first glance.

Not for the S series. The competition is way too thick in the slab market and even though I'm a samsung user all day, the devices like the Pixel line has a killer new design that's refreshing. I'd consider that over this if I was in the market (Z Flip user)

Yes I'm out too. I've gotten a new Galaxy every year since the S10. Samsung has gotten complacent so I'm either skipping a year or going with OnePlus. No S25 for me.

Samsung is keeping everything basically the same and choosing to charge more. Its not worth it if you have a 23 or 24

honestly , like I have told others, where do we hold the phone, in the middle, not on each corner, as square than curves round edges was better for screen protectors to stop on, not round curved kind as I know of,

no, I hope it's still dirt cheap, I'm still rocking my S23U until July hoping for a good corporate price when my contract ends. total cost of ownership is about $430 returned or + $320 to buyout CAD for 2 years. if the S25U can provide the same I'll upgrade

@@fasn279 correct, the $320 is buyout price at the end of the contract in July this year. if I don't wish to keep the phone I can save this amount and return the S23U.
I will be paying this amount to keep it. at the end of the day paying less than $800 CAD for a $2000 phone interest free over 24 months is the only reason financially feasible for me

@@Amarucide makes sense, i'm kind of put off flagships, the last one I had was the iphone 13 pro max.....used it for 3 years and sold it for 50% of what i paid, not too bad.
Just the constant worry of dropping it etc lol, nowadays I go for budget/midrange for peace of mind and savings.

I've been waiting for an upgrade to a new Galacy phone. I've been using the S21 Ultra since 2021. I can probably go another year but I'd like an upgrade already to the S25 Ultra. Not sure how much of a price hike I can tolerate but I'll trade my S21 Ultra for a reduced price.
S24 ultra looks better and with the rumors to change the S Pen its not worth the upgrade.

Yeah Samsung has completely stopped trying. Sort of tired of the software only upgrades. I know it's not practical but give us like 4k 144hz or some sort of other hardware upgrade, 2-3 day battery life maybe? It's been super boring for too long.
