  • Introducing one of the members of our family.....Bruiser is a 1996 Toyota 80 series Land Cruiser. We have been building this thing since 2020 and poured our hearts into it.You will find Bruiser on trails all over the country, usually leading a Venture Unknown ride. It's the unofficial mascot of VU!
I'm going to let the video do the talking.
We are really wanting to grow the YT channel so if you like this video please let us know in the comments.

We met at Overland East 2022. You were super kind and patient with my noobie questions (rust hole in frame ring a bell?). All the best on your travels to come!

Love it. Bruiser is a beast and can hold its own against anything out there. Thanks for the details - even though I've been on the trail with you all and Bruiser a few time now, I still learned quite a few new things.

He definitely has a story to tell. Especially since we actually started using it. Maybe I'll do one where I tell a story and feature a specific ride.

Really nice set up! There's a lot of us 80 owners that will probably be buried in our rigs! also, I use an inflatable bladder jack, saves weight and works well in rocks, mud, etc. Might be an option for you to get rid of that hi-lift. Zona

Great rig, and good setup. You have a keeper right there. Love 80 Series Land Cruisers. Great idea in keeping a track of rig build and accessories expenses.👍👍

Very cool!! Bruiser is a personality in itself like a member of the family. This was the only way to begin rig Walk-arounds for the group. Lets do some more!💪🤙

Love the story behind this character of a rig, thanks for the walk-around. Can't wait to meet you in-person some day. Any plans to fix the tailgate?

Thanks and will be here and hope to see ya out soon. We giggled when you mentioned the tailgate. The group messes with me about that thing 😂. Yes I already have a new tailgate I just need to Raptor line it and we will be good to go.
