I love the shot of the black oxfords and wool dress pants with cuffs. Perfect plowing attire! Great old pics. Thanks for sharing.
Fascinating stuff, thanks for posting. Back in the early 80's we knew a couple of people who had 65's which looked a bit aged, but they swore by them, said they were much better than the newer 135 and 165, etc which were more common in the area. Bet it had better brakes anyway; all the big brothers of the 135 had drum brakes which were useless. Had many heartstopping experiences of throwing all my weight onto the pedal, and levering myself down with the steering wheel trying to get it stopped!
Thanks for sharing this with me, fantastic engineering!
Just bought a well maintained 1975 MF165,
Still got a lot to learn in regards to some of the functionality & adjustments possible, etc… only had it a couple weeks. It’s not perfect, needs a little tlc but she runs like a champ.
The days England was n great country
@oldblackandwhite
Thanks for shared this precious documents to everyone who want to see.
I already collected over 300 pictures for make myself a 3D creation of my grand-father's MF65, but this video is the best document so far! I can see more much details and understand more much about available functions as track setting.
Another time, thanks from all MF65's fans.
Why would anyone give this a thumbs down?
mighty stuff, cheers for posting.
O melhor trator do mundo tive um por 14 anos e até hoje choro de saudades...nunca quebra...
Thank you 👍🇸🇪
very facinating
Very interesting.
Love this stuff!! Harry Was a Genius, its a pity he did not live long enough to see his Dream, all the other tractor manu's robbed his inventions!!
Great video, and thanks for sharing! Also, nothing beats a bright red tractor, and the diesel is music to my ears! What year is your MF 65?
This is Fantastic stuff!!!!!
Where did you come across these, if you don't mind me asking?
Great pics. My wife's sister still has her deceased husband's old 65. It looks kind of rough, but I use it to bush hog and such for her. I tell her it is the best starting and running diesel in the county. Hot, cold, rain or sleet, it never fails to start easily and do a great job. Brakes are not real sporty though.
I learned to drive first on a massey 65 , it was very basic and very reliable, the dry brakes were the only fault really
Massey was with Harris as well as ferguson
Si tiene más información sobre los frenos del MF 65 se lo agradezco mucho saludos desde costa rica .Tomás B
The e3 co-op tractors had poor brakes also
i swear by by my 65.
Buenas noches desde España
Podría usted facilitar el manual de taller para compartirlo con todos
Gracias de antemano
i would like to know more about the spindle
How to replace the sleeves on 135 mass Ferguson diesel
I'm doubting it pulling a five bottom plow I have one three is pretty good in our soil
I am looking for a 135 tractor. if possible pl find one for me.
If it wasn't for Harry's ingenious draft control, these tractors wouldn't pull the skin off custard.

Somehow I don't think your pulling five bottom plows.
It would depend on the type of plow and the soil.
The Massey Ferguson 65 Tractor is very weak for its size.
