She was scared and panicked so she yelled at him@@hanabi9923 It doesnt make it any better but still, There is a simple reason for why she did that. She wasnt trying to be an asshole on purpose.
It's not about being "human." The Adepti and the Yokai have the same emotions as humans, and are able to perceive life experiences in a variety of ways, so I don't understand why HoyoVerse chose to define human in such a way. The more appropriate response, I think, should have been that, no, the Wanderer is NOT human. However, what rhetorical concepts we use to define "humanity" really ought to be used to define what makes us a "person," instead. The Wanderer may not be human, but he is a person, in so much as the adepti, and even the vishaps as well, may not be human. But their sentience, perspectives and their ability to feel and reflect on their experiences do make them people. At least, that's the way I see it.
honjestly i felt he used the word as basically a synonym for alive since as a doll he doesn't have value as an puppet since he couldnt fufill his purpose nor as a living person since he refutes the human emotions
Thank you. I felt the same way during that scene. Also, Nahida is not human either. Neither are multiple of the playable characters for that matter. Being a human doesn't make a person better so I wish they had used a different word to express this idea.
human is the only race have most complicated emotion Yes the adepti and the god have emotion too but their emotion is not complicated like human Until now, only 2 oldest god is zhongli and venti have emotion similar human
though Patrick is a good va for scara, the jp va makes scara sound a whole lot more wholesome and innocent before he regains his memories which I personally like
1) can anyone explain more on the scene 4:50 to when 'scaramouche' held wanderer's hand? Was wanderer holding 'kunikuzushi' hand? 2) does paimon saying "balladeer" remains similar to all players, or do those who met him as "scaramouche" will make paimon say that name instead?
For me I interpreted the first scene as wanderer reaching out to claim his softer kabukimono/kunikuzushi side But he couldn't claim that without his evil scaramouche/balladeer side. As both are one in the same to make up his past self. Once he could accept both that's when he got his vision his freedom
it's not kunikuzushi he's grabbing onto, he's reaching for scaramouche (reclaiming his old memories, the bad and the good, not just the good), but even though his old memories are saving him as the wanderer (giving the wanderer purpose again, a new motive/justice for himself and dottore), they're also trying to pull him down. it's a tug of war between whether or not he learns from his past, or fails and falls to it/becomes 'evil' again. that's what i got from that moment, at least. he fights himself to prove that he's never going to stoop that low again. edit: another cool thing i noticed, is that we come back into reality by zooming into the hand that isn't reaching out for his memories, but the hand that is holding the balladeer/past scaramouche up instead of zooming into the hand that's holding the wanderer up. confusing to explain lol, but i think the meaning behind this is that he isn't being saved by reclaiming his past memories like what he originally thought to happen when reaching out, but really he's saving his old self/scaramouche by being there to carry him out and back to the surface. he's saving every part of himself by being the holder of the truth, and in turn is being saved by every part of himself by piecing his memory back together. it's really cool to analyze. i half expected the wanderer to drop the balladeer, but he didn't. unless you count the boss battle as him dropping him, but i don't think so. his new found understanding of himself and the courage to accept the consequences of his actions is what earned him the anemo vision.
@@teatimetart It's pretty open ended. So it is up to interpretation. So you could be right and/or I could be right. I do really like your thought process and your attention to details

Why do Scara and Nahida have (kinda) a motherly relationship- In a certain way though since she will tell the actual truth and inform him but I dont mean it literally
There is a sense of relatability with the both. Although the circumstances were different. Wanda embraced being looked down on and used by people like Dottore. Fueling his hatred on humanity. While Nahida was force take her mistreatment by the sages. But still keeping hope for humanity. Two sides of the same coin that leads to them respect each other. I honestly like their relationship cause they will always learn from each other.
I like that Wanderer is being responsible for his actions, and half of the time I forget he's actually a puppet honestly. Also I just realized that Wanderer is probably the only fatui that gained a vision of his own, probably the most realistic character ever honestly.
@White White White White White White White White Me and my boyfriend thought this too. We were going to call him something related to his previous name because we were used to it, but we respected the concept of a new beginning, and called him... @@FreakyOverhaul yes but still, yelling at a person who is having a mental breakdown Will do everything but helping.
@@FreakyOverhaulNah man that was a really d!ćk move on her end. Trust me, this gets 10x with Furina
I know both traveler and paimon were bad in the furina quest, I dont think theres anything that justifies what they did in her quest
But for the wanderer quest I feel like its a little justifiable, not bc she yelled at a person having a mental breakdown but rather she was panicking and in danger, Literally about to get blasted. Her thought process was everywhere in that moment most likely @@PeruvianPotato
I know that but both paimon & traveler were in danger, she most likely wasnt trying to provoke him or anything like that. She was scared and panicked so she yelled at him@@hanabi9923
It doesnt make it any better but still, There is a simple reason for why she did that.
Person also means human. Cloud retainer is not a "person" but has the makings similiar to a human. I think you mean "individual" for a better term
@@kittencutie7074 Albedo is also not human but yet feel and is sentimental, just to add up more
human is the only race have most complicated emotion
Yes the adepti and the god have emotion too but their emotion is not complicated like human
Until now, only 2 oldest god is zhongli and venti have emotion similar human
Wanderer before: Nice kind and caring
Wanderer after: Get out of my way peasant! Know your place!
This confirms it. Dull blade is the most powerful weapon in the game.
bro asked for his memories back and immediately regretted it, “Puppet asks for memories back, what happens next will shock you”
wanderer: die!
me: MY BOY'S BACKK
Nahida is the best fictional adoptive mother I ever seen in all my life ❤
I love Scaramouche so much, all of his quests made me cry
same i love him too
He went from Midoriya to Bakugou reeeeal quick.
haga yeeee
So Wanderer basically earned his Vision in a simulation? Is the Abyss really the only place hidden from Celestia's view?
*scara literally suffering*
Paimon: HeY aRe YoU dOnE yEt!?
He went from “I forgor”
To “oh shit I’m gonna fight myself”
This really sends shivers down my spine, body’s achin’ all the time
Wise deity
Paimon get bullied through the whole sumeru quest xd
though Patrick is a good va for scara, the jp va makes scara sound a whole lot more wholesome and innocent before he regains his memories which I personally like
5:30 tfw you've been woke by negative events of the past three years around the world and you want to destroy the bad times once and for all.
I'd love to see that smile face from the wanderer once again
1) can anyone explain more on the scene 4:50 to when 'scaramouche' held wanderer's hand? Was wanderer holding 'kunikuzushi' hand?
2) does paimon saying "balladeer" remains similar to all players, or do those who met him as "scaramouche" will make paimon say that name instead?
I'd say that first scene was an allegory to him accepting his "evil" self as part of who he is
For me I interpreted the first scene as wanderer reaching out to claim his softer kabukimono/kunikuzushi side
But he couldn't claim that without his evil scaramouche/balladeer side.
As both are one in the same to make up his past self.
Once he could accept both that's when he got his vision his freedom
The first scene looks like Adam and god painting.... I think it means they become one
it's not kunikuzushi he's grabbing onto, he's reaching for scaramouche (reclaiming his old memories, the bad and the good, not just the good), but even though his old memories are saving him as the wanderer (giving the wanderer purpose again, a new motive/justice for himself and dottore), they're also trying to pull him down. it's a tug of war between whether or not he learns from his past, or fails and falls to it/becomes 'evil' again. that's what i got from that moment, at least. he fights himself to prove that he's never going to stoop that low again.
edit: another cool thing i noticed, is that we come back into reality by zooming into the hand that isn't reaching out for his memories, but the hand that is holding the balladeer/past scaramouche up instead of zooming into the hand that's holding the wanderer up. confusing to explain lol, but i think the meaning behind this is that he isn't being saved by reclaiming his past memories like what he originally thought to happen when reaching out, but really he's saving his old self/scaramouche by being there to carry him out and back to the surface. he's saving every part of himself by being the holder of the truth, and in turn is being saved by every part of himself by piecing his memory back together. it's really cool to analyze. i half expected the wanderer to drop the balladeer, but he didn't. unless you count the boss battle as him dropping him, but i don't think so. his new found understanding of himself and the courage to accept the consequences of his actions is what earned him the anemo vision.
@@teatimetart It's pretty open ended. So it is up to interpretation. So you could be right and/or I could be right. I do really like your thought process and your attention to details
ah yes, cutscene traveller with their good old dull blade
Kushi in frendly conversation: cute, lovely, calm, wise, funny and a little rude (but that's ok)
Also kushi in battle: evil, psychopathic, deadly, ruthless killer and bloodthirsty
5:16 the music is so damn cool 😎
3:17 interesting. I need this sound for research. Thank you for sharing.

Ugh I love this scene
I got to this cutscene last night and I was so excited when it happened.
Wanderer: "You are.. me..?"
Scaramouche: "You're right Wanderer, I'm You."(Where you go i go... what you see i see..)
15:54 did you know that the 3rd fatui harbinger ( can’t spell her name) was actually singing that song in the back ground?
rlly?
OH GOD REAL
4:40 oh he whimpers...
Indeed, passionately too.
HAHAAH GOD HAHA
Dude wtfffff
*Insert Ayo wtf meme here*
Edit: I’m going to be real with ya’ll, you guys just have some kind of kinky ass shit for whimpering tbh 💀
I just realized, if Paimon really had forgotten about Balladeer, how would she know he was back to his old self? 7:12
When did paimon forget?
Because the traveler described him
Traveler, Wanderer, and Paimon retraced Scaramouche memory before Nahida give the memory back.
This video started AFTER those quests.
When they were decrypting his memories from that fairytale, that's probably when paimon found out what kind of person he was back then
You can preserve his name as wanderer? yes!
I named him Zolrath after the big bad evil guy in my Dungeons and Dragons campaign lmao
You can still put Scaramouche.

Yes i kept it at wanderer
"If its a serious name then its all yours"
Most of the players naming him the most random things

Why do Scara and Nahida have (kinda) a motherly relationship-
In a certain way though since she will tell the actual truth and inform him but I dont mean it literally
@@usonohoshi6165 bruh "wanda"

I like that Wanderer is being responsible for his actions, and half of the time I forget he's actually a puppet honestly.
Also I just realized that Wanderer is probably the only fatui that gained a vision of his own, probably the most realistic character ever honestly.
childe also has a vision lol
Childe: "Am I a joke to you?"
Tartaglia and Arlecchino have visions too
