I'd be running to a sherpa, only to have him attacked from above and below, or save a group of people, only to have them aggro a nearby rhino immediately after. You'd think if the animals were that dangerous the people would come up with solutions or avoid those areas. Nope!

Smoke bombs are my go to throwable when I am looting a supply drop. it's not as bad as this video makes it seem. I don't know if he uses super hard mode or a pea shooter. but if you use the weapon tier that you can access when new ones become available, animals don't take nearly as many hits as in the video
It looks okay, I just really enjoyed the setting and storyline of Far Cry 5 that this might be hard to top. The open American style world of hope county was really fun, but the reborn version of Hope County doesn’t seem like it will be as cool to explore and be on. Just my opinion.

in fc5 i was huge on looting every last thing touchable to craft in fc new dawn i will use those same skills to likely get tier 3 weapons on my first session
I know they haven't done it for New Dawn but I REALLY wish they would bring back protagonist voices. I know why Ubi did it and why they thought it was a good idea...but it just feels dumb when you encounter a certain character or a character says something or you see something and the player character has absolutely nothing to say in response. Like when the nukes were dropping in Far Cry 5 but I guess the deputy wasn't phased by that at all and not once did they tell Joseph to shut the hell up because they're a silly mute. Ubi are all about the dialogue options now. Why not bring back the voice and let us choose what to say, that way we get to have an in game voice and avoid ludo-narrative dissonance at the same time. BOOM sorted!
Yeah, I kind of agree and understand the reasoning behind it as well. It doesn't bother me a lot, us being the 'player' and all, but standing there blankly as a character carries on a full convo with you feels a little off at times and more than a few moments left me wanting to celebrate liberating an outpost with one of the GFH, even if it were just a random yell of excitement or fist pump, lol. Personally, I could see this working better if Dep had an actual backstory and were mute for real due to unknown reasons not revealed until later in the game... but anyway, it would be nice if they made 6 with dialogue options. I wouldn't care much if the protag didn't talk, at least I can see an NPC reacting to my response. Imagine if you could refuse a side mission? What will they say? Of course it's up to you to return later, but that alone would shake things up a little for me.
Plating on the easiest setting. Still need to drop a mag on anything to kill anyone. And unless your using a rocketlauncher on "Elite bears" or somthing dont try killing them. 36 shots to kill a wolverine with an arc?
Old game but still fun. Here playing it after playing far cry 6. I would say this video doesn’t really give you “everything“ you wish you knew. Just giving you basics and back stories and general advice. For example , I wish I knew before taking over the outposts that if you do it without raising an alarm or being noticed, the amount of ethanol you get is almost doubled. You can shoot out the alarm towers and don’t have to go up to them to avoid reinforcements. After you take an outpost over a second or third time, the ethanol reward, doubles, and triples.
I think the base ground file is the same. But for the most part I found the map barely recognizable minus a few landmarks like the statue remnant and falls end. Its a bit unfair to act as if its a reskin of the old map.
What happened to vocal characters like the 4 dudes in FC3 coop? They were awesome! Lets get more guys like that in who make fun of all the enemies they come across

@@Link-mq3cr holy fuck I'm sick of this bullet sponge shit. It's a side game and ubi does need to change these games, sorry just getting sick of those comments
This was my first far cry game and the only one that I fell for was the bear not the moose the bear. I haven't actually encountered a moose yet so, yeah.
The part that bothers me the most which might seem small is the fact that throughout the entire game, there are the same good guy NPC’s no matter where you are on the map. It’s either a black guy or a white woman. Constantly. It took me out of my immersion. And the woman is the same woman from far cry 5 but with different hair and sunglasses.
It literally takes you 2:30 to say each of the first two things: looters have cool stuff and pop one annoying smoke bomb + you need to level up the sneak kill skill to get higher level guys. You didn't even bother showing how that is done - just lots of unrelated gameplay.
A superbloom is a real thing that happens after a nuclear detonation. When the soil becomes usable again, the many seeds that weren't able to grow can finally become trees, grass, flowers, etc.
There is more than one kind of apocalypse... your lack of imagination is what you should really be concerned about. As you point out, there are plenty of lazy interpretations of a grey and brown post apocalyptic world already.
I must say New Dawn is very fun and in some ways better than Far Cry 5. Especially when you get the double jump. Priceless. I like that you can upgrade the weapons to make them more powerful. But you can't add scopes or suppressors. I hope in Far Cry 6 you can upgrade and customise your weapons much more. I'd go even farther and ad a livery editor so you can paint your weapons how you want and even write on them like in Forza Motorsport.
How are the spoilers in this video? I’m finishing up john’s region (about 20 missions left) and then take out cheesy boi Joseph. Finished Faith and Jacob first. Once I’m done with FC5 game + play through I’m going to play New Dawn.
Ive gone the same route, I’ve just downloaded new dawn, don’t watch any new dawn videos because it will spoil some of the far cry 5 stuff, good that you left johns region as the last one, I think it’s Definitely one of the best regions
It's a side game. Not farcry 6. Just like primal or blood dragon were side games but it didn't mean all farcry games after were bright neon or stone age.
@@gunhunter1000 still doesn't mean farcry 6 will be like this. Each of their side games has been a quirky out of the box game. This time it's rpg instead stone age. I seriously doubt farcry 6 will be anything like this.
One thing I wish I'd known. That there was no "New Game +" Kinda wish there was. So you could at least replay the story. Far Cry 5 had one, why not New Dawn?
While Iv enjoyed all the farcrys.. I’m not to keen on this one with its bullet sponge mechanics, although for anyone on Xbox Farcry2 is currently free on backwards compat! Will be enjoying that!
The controls are wack mostly the squirrel suit one because every time I fight a boss fight like the last one for instance it's takes place in a cave and every time I would try to jump and run away from him I would accidentally press the squirrel suit button fly into a wall and instantly die every time I was about to win dumbest thing other than that I think the games pretty good I liked it but I rates really hard over the squirrel suit function
Sugar Ray I’ll be honest, Story wise the game is a bit lacking which disappointed me but gameplay wise the game is great fun and the map is a blast to explore
@@leviussimp5093 it's not your guns for hire, it's the random friendly npc"s that will attack an outpost when you're trying to stealth it. Big problem in 5, not so much in new dawn but it still happens.
aj withnoname I have no idea why they went the apocalypse route. It was like the heads at Ubisoft took a sharp right turn into a wall while thinking of ideas for the next FC and they saw Rage II and said let’s do that
Why do apocalypse always has to do with wastelands and devastation. There is superbloom after radiation , just google " Chernobyl 20 yrs later ". I think this is a nice take on post-apocalypse that none other game did before. Also, this makes sense if you have in mind the FC5 story. And that's the most important thing - that's one of the best stories in gamnig!
To be honest, not everybody would like the same shit. I always hoped far cry wouls have rpg elements. back then, acquiring new guns don't realy mean a lot because they almost have the same damage. I hope they somehow fix it in a way that no specific gun ahould be fixed to a particular tier. Instead, we should be able to upgrade ammo. That way, we can still use our faborite gun without waiting fforthem to be acquired or letting them go for a higher tier one.
I think you can use your favorite gun, but you will need to level up 3 times for it to be maximum effectiveness. Also, Far Cry 5 had differing ammo types, such as incendiary, armor piercing, etc, so I would assume this does as well. The difference is, you may have to craft all things in this game. Vendors may not be available across the world like in Far Cry 5.

@@Link-mq3cr holy fuck I'm sick of this bullet sponge shit. It's a side game and ubi does need to change these games, sorry just getting sick of those comments
I just throw a shovel at everything and well it works
I haven't seen a Bow in any Videos yet. Please tell me there is one.
There are a few different bows
JAESIN45 1 at 6:19 it shows the perk heavily armed and the graphic is of someone wielding a bow.
Check out Jorraptor. He breaks down all the weapons. 3 or 4 bows and the slingshot
I hope we get to see falls end after the nuke
Your main base is where Nick Ryes House was so you’re pretty close so I’m assuming you can see it
No it's John's ranch
Where's the fun in an apocalypse setting if it doesn't even feel like an apocalypse? Pass from me. I'll just play metro
A superbloom is a real thing that happens after a nuclear detonation. When the soil becomes usable again, the many seeds that weren't able to grow can finally become trees, grass, flowers, etc.
exactly
@@ShenDoodles I know it's possible, but doesn't that detract from the point of having a post apocalypse game?
Just google "Chernobyl 20 years later" and you will see a good example of a superbloom in a post-apocalyptic environment ;)
There is more than one kind of apocalypse... your lack of imagination is what you should really be concerned about. As you point out, there are plenty of lazy interpretations of a grey and brown post apocalyptic world already.
I can see where Ubisoft are trying to go with their game designs, but they are going the wrong direction.
great advice thanks!
You, Sir, are a Level 2 helmet.
I try to get all the weapon at every start of any game
When your bow do 2000+ dmg and 1 shot everything
I shall Cry from Afar this weekend if I have time
Sometimes the scavengers throw more than one
"...absolute bastard honey badgers..." Hahahahahaha!
I just pre ordered it just for having fun I mean this game is all about making chaos
Will they add more quests in game if not will they add quest by dlc
I need this game.
Did he play some version of the game without elite enemies?
I wish I knew I needed better weapons at the beginning
Copy, paste, repeat should be the slogan of far cry franchise
Anyone wondering yes u can remove their health bars
Look this game is not for everyone if you liked Far Cry 5 like i did your gonna Love New Dawn
Jeremy I actually like new dawn better for some reason
They could have made the twins hot at least..
Not progressive enough for leftist Americans.
Brenton Goldfinch-Belbin What?
It’s a video game, where the twins are the enemy you will more than likely kill by the end of it. What kind of weeb comment is that?
Geralt of Rivia
Why couldn’t the twins be petite tiny 4’5 bdsm submissive girls
Are there attachments to every gun
How do I invert (up/down) in New Dawn? HELP!!!
The sad part about far cry new dawn is that it only took me a day to complete it:(
Same
Exploration and side missions really stretch the game. Unless you like to attack the main story line, of course it’ll be a quick experience.
Yeah it you're run through the story. But then you miss the other good stuff.
Wolverine vs Honey badger. Who would win?
Honey Badger
How are the spoilers in this video? I’m finishing up john’s region (about 20 missions left) and then take out cheesy boi Joseph. Finished Faith and Jacob first. Once I’m done with FC5 game + play through I’m going to play New Dawn.
Ive gone the same route, I’ve just downloaded new dawn, don’t watch any new dawn videos because it will spoil some of the far cry 5 stuff, good that you left johns region as the last one, I think it’s Definitely one of the best regions
Can I play far cry new dawn on this laptop : Intel core i3 2.00ghz
8GB Ram
Amd Radeon graphics 2GB
Windows 10
Can I play on very low settings
Probably not.
He was nearly... BAMBOOZELED
Man that perk tree is TINY! Rpg elements my ass! This is the shortest RPG ever.
A, yes, it's meant to be shorter
B, most of them are upgradeable, and 5 (or 6, can't remember) perks are locked behind story progression
Because of the bulletsponging I play the game on game journalist mode
The army of bullet sponges. Not every game is meant to be an RPG, Ubi.
It's a side game. Not farcry 6. Just like primal or blood dragon were side games but it didn't mean all farcry games after were bright neon or stone age.
@@miceandgods4171 This isn't a setting its a game mechanic...
@@gunhunter1000 still doesn't mean farcry 6 will be like this. Each of their side games has been a quirky out of the box game. This time it's rpg instead stone age. I seriously doubt farcry 6 will be anything like this.
@@miceandgods4171 Well Far Cry 6 isn't going to be here anytime soon.
@@holokyttaja5476 true, probably next gen
One thing I wish I'd known. That there was no "New Game +" Kinda wish there was. So you could at least replay the story. Far Cry 5 had one, why not New Dawn?
Is crafting health still mislabelled as homeopathy?
While Iv enjoyed all the farcrys.. I’m not to keen on this one with its bullet sponge mechanics, although for anyone on Xbox Farcry2 is currently free on backwards compat! Will be enjoying that!
Wanderingwalker 1990 True, except it requires a credit card to get, despite being free.
WAR BLACKJACK yeah I just typed in a debit card that I barely use.. not sure why it has that as a thing 🤔
One thing I wish I known timber can get ranover
Dude, wtf?! FC Primal DID NOT reuse the map from FC4! Did you even played the game?! 🤦♂️
I'm looking forward to It to be honest
FarCry4 = Farcry Primal = Past. 10.000 BCE.
FARCRY5 = FARCRY NEWDAWN = FUTURE. 2035.
I want to see how falls end look like before and after
How to drop bombs on far cry 5 on mouse and keyboard? Pls can someone help me?
Is Far Cry 5 worth buying, or is it best to skip this and wait for New Dawn?
Sugar Ray don’t play this without playing 5
How do you not have fc5?
@@Tyleradams1301 OK. Thanks for advice. Is FC5 good?
@@briangallardo5645 It's one of those games where there's been many mixed reviews, so I was unsure about getting it. What do you think of the game?
Sugar Ray I’ll be honest, Story wise the game is a bit lacking which disappointed me but gameplay wise the game is great fun and the map is a blast to explore
use shotgun against animals.good for short distance enemies too.
I want: more clutch nixon challenges
I dont want: random friendly land and air npc's jumping into my battles and screwing everything up.
You don't have to use your allies
@@leviussimp5093 it's not your guns for hire, it's the random friendly npc"s that will attack an outpost when you're trying to stealth it. Big problem in 5, not so much in new dawn but it still happens.
Will it even *feel* like an apocalypse? It doesn’t seem like it does...
aj withnoname I have no idea why they went the apocalypse route.
Not every apocalypse genre needs to look like Fallout, mad Max, or metro. Nature would eventually come back
Nobody Not even. Rage 2 is not lush green. It’s seemingly desert, cities, and neon. Similar color pallet to this, but this is super bloom.
Is Joseph in the game (ım saying Are we spoke him in the game or he is dead something else)
I love the smoke bomb in all the farcry games
FarCry New Vegas
Wait, Far Cry and an RPG element? When did it get RPG elements?!
when they added a skill system. Which was a previous game actually, not this one.
Not every game need to be rpg
