All of you people complaining about this pistol, good grief... It's a remake of an EXCELLENT military pistol. Try getting a surplus P210... then you'll like this one. Not EVERY handgun has to be modernized to be awesome.
My rule of thumb has always been if I cant buy it twice, then I cant afford it. This firearm is very cool. I appreciate its' trigger and balance. Maybe one day down the road
Who puts an accessory rail on a target pistol? P.S. all the people complaining that its only holds nine rounds need to do a little practicing, me thinks.
Great video. Have both American models, target and carry. Of the two, the target has a slightly better trigger, as a target model should, and the sights are easier for my eyes. The extra weight of the target makes for a very smooth firing sequence with little muzzle rise and returns to point of aim nicely. The carry model trigger is nice, but about 1/2 pound heavier pull, which is fine, and has a little more snap to the firing cycle. The white outline on the rear sights is problematic with my old eyes a may get changed. Overall, both have exceeded my expectations for a production gun and are worth the money, but they are not for everyone. Being a 1911 guy, the P210, target and carry, are easy to transition to with out causing muscle memory issues. The price and availability of 45 ammo led me to a search for a well built , metal, 9mm, single stack with no rails that was designed around the 9mm cartridge. These and the Sig P225a1, which I also have, have fit that criteria nicely. Thanks for the video.
Got a S&W M&P Shield 9mm 1.0, a Mossberg 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge along with a 1969 Remington Speedmaster 552! My dream guns are a Beretta 92FS INOX, Ruger Alaskan Super Redhawk 357 Mag and a full size 308. Winny or maybe a Draco. Seems AR's be fuckin up alot. Love your videos, let me know, 308 or Draco or what????
One thing that always bothered me about it is how it never had an accessory rail, yet it is advertised as a cary gun. Lights are pretty essential in my opinion, given the fact that a lot of crime happens in lower light conditions. And the fact that the manual depicts one with a rail is sorta insulting to me. I don't even see an option with a rail. All I see is a full sized variant with a rail on a handful of pictures on Google.
Rail doesn't or at least shouldn't mean "Carry" to you. That falls under tactical. Lights are usefull, but not necc for carry. Home defense yeah. And they did advertise with a rail.. But when Massad Ayoub, arguably THE master of selfe defense, says using a mounted light is a bad move, i believe him. Why give yourself away? "HERE I AM! SHOOT THE BRIGHT SPOT!"
@@TheJimminiShow I guess you're not wrong, now that I think about it. Chances are, if I'm threatened, it will be very obvious and direct of who and where the threats are. Plus, there are already plenty of streetlights and stuff too, unless you live in the middle of Alaska or something. I do believe that there is a place for a light on a carry gun since a sudden bright light in low light conditions can mess with the threat(s)' pupils and temporarily disorientate them and perhaps it can be used to have extra clear visibility AFTER the threat has been neutralized (like spotting the threat's weapon). But again, I am not saying you are wrong when you say a light isn't entirely necessary for a self-defense situation, I merely state that I personally would rather have one just in case. If I don't need it, I simply don't turn it on. It's sorta like the forward assist argument in my opinion, which is silly, of course, but I personally feel that this also falls in the category of "if you want it, train to use it properly and when needed. If you don't, just don't get it or use it." But that's just me and my pea-sized basement operator brain.
Not nearly as common as you think. Its just that you see it on youtube and social media from big names. In the 4 years I've been in my store, I have seen maybe five people with a light on their EDC

Picked mine up this afternoon 12/31/23, new unit built 3/23. Our serial numbers are within 70!
I would love to see a stainless model with wood grips.

I don’t hear anyone complaining about the other pistols only holding 7 rounds just this one
Craft Holsters will be making leather holsters soon for it!

How are you liking this fire arm? You’ve had it a while do you have any positives or negatives?
It’s sweet, that’s for sure! But there are better options out there for that price point!
How do you like the gun? I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions
Like the video I have always wanted a Carry, but I decided to get a P49 Instead, hard to beat Swiss craftsmanship.
That's one sexy ass gun but I can't justify a single stack 9 at that price in my collection sadly :/
That’s the point of a nice well rounded collection, there is no justification.
That's so beautiful.

Another thing to think about: the light adds mass to the front of the gun which will help with muzzle flip.
Great gun 🔫
Can you do a review on a Glock 17?
😅😅
I thought everyone used a button mag release… guess not
Go find someone with an HK and try it out. Great pistols but the trigger guard lever to drop the mag takes some getting used to.
Think I would go with the Prodigy for that price 🤟 but it's kind of an awkward looking pistol
Prodigy is $1500 so i get it
Prodigy apparently has problems. Sig P210 is definitely not awkward. It's one of the most comfortable pistols in the hand.
Think I’d spend $500 more and get a Staccato or DW DWX
@@chrisragone8785 DWX is SICCCC!!!
Yeah, a sweet firearm. Out of reach for me.

No rail. I know it's a CARRY gun. But come on. Lites r pretty standard for edc these days

Also it being a 9mm with an 8 round capacity...
@@partyrobbins4690 But you get a nice slim grip, everything is a set of compromises.

Lights are for the bedroom Glock. Carry is stealth, accurate and of course reliable.
I'm sure it's a good pistol but the price is out-of-line ridiculous....
Worse than money.
