    Do u recommend those gears for running 40s? 4.88 wouldn't do it? I'm prepping to go up from 35s to 40s.

      I definitely recommend the 5.38s. They do good on the highway with my trans and good offroad

    I wish I had seen this about a month ago! I just finished my Super duty swap from an 04. Made my own outboard kit, SUA Rear, SOA front with about the same stretch as you, 3.5 rear on wagoneer springs and about 7 or 8 up front on wagoneer springs right at 104.5 inch wheelbase. Gonna have to go to the Ram MC and Astro Steering box. What did you do to get the superduty tie rod to fit the YJ pitman arm? Any custom work to get the MC to work or any custom lines needed to go from the yj hard lines to the calipers in the front or the junction in the rear? Sorry for stirring up an old video, love this thing!

      No problem man. I reemed the stock piman arm out to fit the Ford steering. Honestly I'd just go heim joints and skip that step.
      I made my own mac lines. Metric on one end and standard on the other. I think you can order adapter lines though

      @@ashland82391 never saw this post, I'm thinking of trying to adapt a heim joint to the end of the sd drag link until I'm ready to invest in a tube bender to build my own tie rod and whatnot. Do you happen to know what size/style fittings the dodge master uses?

    Hey, brother, I'm modifying my first jeep 1977 cj7. When you stretched your jeep did you just move your leaf spring?

    • @ashland82391
      @ashland82391  4 года назад

      I moved the leaf springs, got different leaf springs and offset the center pin on the spring perches

      They're stock front wagoneer springs on all 4 corners. Not sure if he's using 5 or 7 leaf version, might be able to tell in another of his videos.
