+Vinmoonsu Ren also wrote some of the songs on Straight Outta Compton. And everyone said that Cube wrote everyone's lyrics, even though it was just Dre and Eazy that he wrote for. No diss to cube though.
+LifeIsNotorious I dont like the movie Straight outta Cubes and dres mouth. Man they made up all the eazy e stuff and Ren and Yella probably had 3 lines in the hole movie xD.
Ren is the most underrated Rapper of all time. His lines are absolutely killing. Expecially his lines in "Straight Outta Compton", man, he had potential.
I hate how they made Eazy e look like a punk. For startes he didn't get beat up or even touched by suge knight. They wouldn't dare or someone would be killed. and he was never broke. he always had money and he had a lot more rappers with him, rapping with him after dre and cube left. It looked like it was just yella ren and him in the end not knowing what to do.
Bg Knocc Out and Layzie Bone already cleared up what happen with that contract meeting...What really happened, Dre set up a meeting with Eazy to discuss his contract...When Eazy got there, Suge and a few of his boys was in there with baseball bats and shit to Intimidate E into releasing Dre...They never did jump Eazy, but he gave Suge a fake signature which is why Eazy E was still gettin paid off of Dre when he left...He outsmarted Dre and Suge
You got your story twisted... Knocc Out and everyone else said DRE set Eazy up to meet with Suge but no one actually touched him. Dudes came out with guns and bats then they threatened him and his family.. Knocc Out literally says "Nah, hell nah.. They didn't touch him.. Nah, not at all.." When asked if Eazy got beat up lol
Peace to M.C Ren. He always was nice with his pen. He was out-shadowed by the other members personal issues and drama. Besides Eazy-E , M.C Ren was my favorite member.
George Tapia hell nah. In terms of lyrics and flow (and imo voice too) Ren far better than Cube. Listen to his entire discog. You're sleeping on a GIANT. I put him in the same tier as NAS and PAC lyrically. Cube is like 4 tiers below that.
Lack of exposure to MC Ren in the movie. True fans know Ren's role in the group as far as lyrics are concerned, don't let Dre and Cube fool you about Ren's contribution to the group.
Yeah this would have a been a great Netflix Series where they could have done like a 10-12 episode of what happened to the group in more detail, give guys like MC Ren & DJ Yella more relevance and screentime, and dive in deeper to the real world stuff going on around NWA then.
Robert Fernandez Yep they left out all their embarrassing parts like when Ice Cube got his ass beat in traffic and his chain took by that dude Solo. They left that out but make up a story of Easy getting beat up
I agree Dapp. Cube probably felt that someone would probably be feeling some type of way and take off on him. Same with Dre. These guys went hard on Eazy and they probably feared retaliation though the beef was sqaushed. Everyone didn't know it was sqaushed. And some dudes get some drank in them and just wanna start crap anyways so I could see it going down hill. But Ren?? I don't get it. I can believe he didn't wanna see Eric like that....but not those other two.
Mc Ren was the most hardcore rapper out of the 4 he was the dopest always my favourite the RUTHLESS Villain !!!!!!! He shoulda turn to horrorcore after NWA
I lost interest in watching the film after knowing that so much of it was made up bullshit. I don't care HOW entertaining a movie is, if it is supposed to represent a TRUE story, then it needs to be ACCURATE.
+allan fulton Yeah it was sad, he didnt have hardly any lines at all. Pretty clear to see Dre was the star of the show... since Apple backed most of the film... are you shocked?
Dang, Ren. They treated you like a redheaded stepchild. As soon as the movie ended, I said *dag I didn't learn anything about Ren and Yella*. At least they could've shown you making that first album. I had to go back and rediscover it and every single beat knocked. #anditsstillallgood
Your stupid as fuck, When Eazy E looked at the billboard he would actually be laughing because he had dre on contract so Eazy was making the money dre was trying to make.
+Marquis Wilburn right!!! people can't rap their heads around that for some reason... no biopic is 100% accurate and even if they were people will still find something to hate on and plus... it is almost like their dissin the other members of the group like you dont have to bring other people down to lift someone up. all of them were dope asf and well needed so this interview was just straight corny tbh.
I can't fault anybody who doesn't go to a funeral for somebody close. I myself can't look at somebody I love like that. Even in the movie Cube said to Dre I can't go in, I can't see him like that. I need to hear his voice. I feel him 100%. It takes a lot to do that.
Young kids who don't know who Paris is (since Ren mentioned him..) you needs to go check all his old albums. Underrated as fuck. Beats were fire. Flow was fire. Content was fire.
And obviously we don't know what went down but in the film when they had the beef in the hotel room I like how Easy only called Ren to back him .....Kelly park babyyyyy.
Another probably bullshit part of the movie us when Cube is at the computer, obviously writing Friday, minus the dude who probably actually wrote most of it D.J Pooh. When he's saying out loud, "You got knocked the fuck out." Okay, so im a movie nerd, and im 98% sure Chris Tucker improved that line, cube didnt write it, and it wasnt in the script. That Nigga 4 life Album was so hot because of DRE production and REN skills was incredible .........they held it without ICE CUBE but GLAD that CUBE and REN tight...despite of everything that happened ...this is REN hottest Flow on this album.
Yeah I sorta felt that way when I saw they dedicated the movie to him at the end, but they left out Real Muthphukkin' Gs and how successful that was - even if he had bills. Plus if E was making a percentage off Dre, I'm not sure he would have been crying cuz The Chronic was successful.
JuggaloSupreme Let's you know how Dre & Cube really feel about Eazy E.....notice how Dre & Cube have become two of the biggest sellouts aka soulouts in hip hop history both of them turned out all hollyweird word to MC Ren.
sharky H Cube been done sold the fuck out to hollyweird he be throwing up all the occult hand signs and his tv/movie projects are mostly stereotype based vehicles with a dose of gay agenda. Ice T too..the entertainment industry played him out. Mansion parties...fame is the devil's game no one get and free ass pass.
For you young cats that didn't know, before Cube left, Ren was neck and neck with Cube when NWA was together. I remember I said to several people that Cube was better than Ren back in the days and they laughed at me, no lie they laughed at me! So back in 88-89 Ren was seen as the most important member of the group outside of Eazy.
@aryan raina no vaseline is far from lyrical my summer vacation, us,when will they shoot, ghetto vet, ghetto bird are all more lyrical than no vaseline. What are you? some kind of dumbass? Overhyped? he has the best catalog in hip hop.
born 1980 grown up in mid 80s n.w.a my favorite rap stright outta Compton greatest album and eazy e best album and the d.o.c best album I love n.w.a part childhood 80s
+CokaCola Twirly Curls cause they dissed him in 100 miles n runnin or however you spell it so he got pissed off and did No Vaseline dissing all of them pretty hard, except for yella really, he never really dissed yella like he did dre, E, and ren and even jerry.
Actually I got the pleasure of interviewing Jerry several years ago and the guy who played him in the movie was very accurate. As a matter of fact for a split second I thought Jerry was playing himself in the movie! lol
eazy made nwa. though he wasn't a rapper at first, he brought the street to nwa. although jerry is hated, without him, nwa might have also not been that great. mc ren is a legend who isn't mentioned much.
MC Ren & Yella's Bangin' in L.A. is where it's at, if you haven't heard it, look it up, out of Ren's 2003 Reincarnated album ruclips.net/video/0G3TZlUh8AA/видео.html
MC Ren is my favorite of the bunch, honestly I'd say he's the best of all 5, as well. I think that Eazy, Cube and Dre overshadowed him because of the beef between them. But he was and still is dope, man, and y'all can't deny it. He was so talented, to the point it hurts me seeing Dre and Cube be so successful and make millions and billions of dollars, while Ren is doing interviews via cell phone.
+TheUltimateMilanFan Well, you're right however keep in mind the entertainment business is INSANELY cut throat. And some people just aren't built like that. In that business you have to be firing at ALL times and making good decisions, hiring good people, moving VERY fast. If you don't you can easily slip between the cracks. Dre's song "All In a Days Work" is the truth. You sacrifice personal time, time with family, vacation time, you have to cut things loose you dont necesaarily want to, the pressure is REAL heavy. Maybe Ren decided to focus on his family, so being a star and chasing what Dre and Cube have been chasing wasnt as important to him. Just suggesting that we don't assume he's a victim in all this, he may not have wanted that lifestyle.
That's right, he moved to Palm Springs with his wife and four kids to be closer to his parents. He was even offered a major label deal worth one million dollar after the Up In Some Tour, but declined it.
Easy had the game when he signed Bone they made the Dogg pound look like sesame st...C'mon man thuggish ruggish bone ..and they didn't even say a word about DPG Easy E way too smart .
shit wtf Ren was the real MVP of NWA. Cube had dope lyrics, true, but i just feel like his delivery wasn't as good as Ren's. i mean, just compare Quiet On Tha Set or If It Ain't Ruff to I Ain't Tha 1. Ren's songs were the hardest shit on SOC.
They definitely needed to show more about mc ren in the movie. He was definitely a key person that kept n.w.a.going after cube left. I do agree with ren he is atleast as good as cube.
Nice interview with music rapper MC Ren of NWA. MC Ren, Ice Cube of NWA, Willie D of Geto Boys, Scarface of Geto Boys, Redman, Run DMC(RIP Jam Master Jay), 2Pac Shakur(RIP), Foxy Brown, Gang Starr(RIP Guru), Tim Dog(RIP), LL Cool J, A Tribe Called Quest(RIP Phife Dawg), Naughty By Nature, KRS One of Boogie Down Productions, Ice T are my favorite music rappers.
MC REN, the hardest nigga in C.P T . Always keeping it real !!! N W.A 4 LIFE!!!! Drop an album just for kicks it will be cool bumping some NC REN !!! Above The Law! pimp clinic! West Coast "G",
5:46 on he ZAGGIN4LIFE album cover , Ice Cube wouldn't have liked that .. he said; "I would've been the one living ...explaining what happened " He felt NWA went in a different direction and took things too far.
niggaz4life was especially different because the group had more tracks. They had the computer which tripled track count-- literally hundreds of stereo tracks. Previous albums were 32 tracks, 48 tracks maximum on the reel to reel.
€azy n Ren was the true OG who knew whats up with the street mentality...Ren and Yella stood by €´z side till the end...much respect to Ren & Yella(Antoine C) r.i.p €azy € 1964 - 1995
I feel like he is bothered by it, but just doesn't want to put his homies on blast. Like that kid in the group that did most of the work, but is overshadowed by the cool kids. Ren's my favorite rapper, and it sucks to see him portrayed as a side-character.
J. Saldana I know he ain't my favorite mine is cube but I wanted to see their individual struggles so that when the made fuck the police it made a huge impact cube, dre, and easy got their back stories why not mc ren and yella the movie was good but it wasn't NWA
Quiet on the set ....dopest NWA song to me cos it proved to NY that LA could MC wit the best of them....MC ren was alway my favourite from NWA , obviously Cube was dope but it was he's look and image that captured ppls attention more .
After watching that movie..i would think that mc ren wasn't even in the group..they gave him no play in that movie at all..an they just seem to gloss over that
I really liked the movie but they really made Eazy look like a b*tch. 1. He didn't actually get jumped but Suge's guys. They all had guns and he put a fake signing. 2. He was never broke like that, he still got 20% of the money from Dre on everything he released 3. Didn't show any of the legacy he had after Dre left There is probably a lot more wrong but those are the easiest ones to see
ren was underrated] when he put out a album he knew how to stop& make a dime album vs keep going w/ bs songs]] "when i hip i hop i rock the spots i dont know what it is , but the grls get hot"] lol
MC Ren! The Most HARDCORE guy (along with Ice-T) who has ever come out of LA! His solo LPs...especially "Shock Of The Hour" - THE BEST WEST COAST LP. Probably the only one that I can put on the same level with stuff like Gang Starr, Jeru, EPMD, KRS1 PE.... None of the other NWA albums, nor the solo projects (including Ice Cube's) are coming even close! Peace to MC Ren from Macedonia! The man who's been present in my life for more than 20 years!
The movie made NWA look like a trio with Ren and Yella being backup dancers.
So true
+Vinmoonsu Ren also wrote some of the songs on Straight Outta Compton. And everyone said that Cube wrote everyone's lyrics, even though it was just Dre and Eazy that he wrote for. No diss to cube though.
I agree and that was B.S. to me it would have never be the same with out Ren.
+LifeIsNotorious I dont like the movie Straight outta Cubes and dres mouth. Man they made up all the eazy e stuff and Ren and Yella probably had 3 lines in the hole movie xD.
MrLiker Lmao so true, but sad
Ren is the most underrated Rapper of all time. His lines are absolutely killing.
Expecially his lines in "Straight Outta Compton", man, he had potential.
THATS WHAT IM SAYING
MAD SCIENTIST,ONE OF MY FAVORITE,THEN HE BRING C.P.O. R.I.P. LIL NATION
That's a FACT💯💯💯
I hate how they made Eazy e look like a punk. For startes he didn't get beat up or even touched by suge knight. They wouldn't dare or someone would be killed. and he was never broke. he always had money and he had a lot more rappers with him, rapping with him after dre and cube left. It looked like it was just yella ren and him in the end not knowing what to do.

+Jeremy Boyd actually they had guns
+Michael Croxton lmaooo how would you know? You were there right? Lol no
well his wife said he did get roughed up so???
You got your story twisted... Knocc Out and everyone else said DRE set Eazy up to meet with Suge but no one actually touched him. Dudes came out with guns and bats then they threatened him and his family.. Knocc Out literally says "Nah, hell nah.. They didn't touch him.. Nah, not at all.." When asked if Eazy got beat up lol
We never heard Real Compton City G's but they made sure we heard all of no Vaseline. Ain't that some shit. It looks like they down played Easy E.
MC Ren got no respect in that movie and he was one of the best in the group
Dope Life
better writer but Cube had that delivery
DJ Xan none of those guy was any good or in the group to me especially MC Ren.
ice cube was the best
Peace to M.C Ren. He always was nice with his pen. He was out-shadowed by the other members personal issues and drama. Besides Eazy-E , M.C Ren was my favorite member.
MC Ren was the most talented rapper in NWA, look up Final Frontier.
Jules L want talented do MC Ren have in rap.
Dingle Barry lmao.
MC Ren has a song called Final Frontier.
Final frontier and same old shit are the only 2 tracks that were dope...Cube SHITS ON HIM
George Tapia hell nah. In terms of lyrics and flow (and imo voice too) Ren far better than Cube.
Listen to his entire discog. You're sleeping on a GIANT. I put him in the same tier as NAS and PAC lyrically. Cube is like 4 tiers below that.
Quiet on tha set also proves that Ren is the best
Lack of exposure to MC Ren in the movie. True fans know Ren's role in the group as far as lyrics are concerned, don't let Dre and Cube fool you about Ren's contribution to the group.
If it ain't ruff has cemented Ren's place as a master lyricist of the group...
Without MC Ren and Ice Cube, N.W.A wouldn't have been as successful. Always went the hardest and had the best bars.
MC Ren's EP Kizz My Black Azz was the first HipHop EP to go Platinum in the History Of Music. Ren made History
It was actually kill at will by cube but aight
Yeah this would have a been a great Netflix Series where they could have done like a 10-12 episode of what happened to the group in more detail, give guys like MC Ren & DJ Yella more relevance and screentime, and dive in deeper to the real world stuff going on around NWA then.
Joseph Harris would have been way better
That movie was nothing more than hype to make Cube and Dre look like gangsters.
Robert Fernandez
Yep they left out all their embarrassing parts like when Ice Cube got his ass beat in traffic and his chain took by that dude Solo. They left that out but make up a story of Easy getting beat up
TCthaCrisis yeah
Wish they would've asked him why he didn't show up at Eazy's funeral.
exactly. none of them showed up but Yella and ren grew up with eazy
Cube simply didn't wanna see Eazy laid-up in a casket, and I can understand that.
+TechnAmateur Thats what cube said but i doubt thats the real reason since he had alot of hate and venom directed toward eric while he was alive...
I can believe he didn't wanna see Eric like that....but not those other two.
dappadan22 But what about E & Cube talkin' at the club, when Cube had last seen him well?
They were cool again.
"MC REN" always had dat voice And a top notch delivery on the mic
Mc Ren was the most hardcore rapper out of the 4 he was the dopest always my favourite the RUTHLESS Villain !!!!!!! He shoulda turn to horrorcore after NWA
The reason why Dr. Dre left out "Real Muthaphuckkin G's" in the movie is because his feelings is still hurt by it.
This dude was nice on the mic.
+Testos Tyrone MC Ren was definitely one of the best! I Agree!!!
I lost interest in watching the film after knowing that so much of it was made up bullshit. I don't care HOW entertaining a movie is, if it is supposed to represent a TRUE story, then it needs to be ACCURATE.
What's crazy is as raw as Ren is, he had the only 2 solo songs on the Compton album with no curses besides Cube's 'I Ain't Tha One'.
Dope ass interview, Ren deserves more respect so thanks for giving him his flowers
Mc ren seems to be almost passed over in the movie he's on of the greats just as great as cube and I hate how he seems to be so underrated as an mc.
+allan fulton Yeah it was sad, he didnt have hardly any lines at all. Pretty clear to see Dre was the star of the show... since Apple backed most of the film... are you shocked?
+Live From The Basement lol not really at least Eminem gives ren props in his songs
Yeah good point
check out Ren's album shock of the hour
Dang, Ren. They treated you like a redheaded stepchild. As soon as the movie ended, I said *dag I didn't learn anything about Ren and Yella*. At least they could've shown you making that first album. I had to go back and rediscover it and every single beat knocked. #anditsstillallgood
Yeah! I felt the same way. They're the two I wanted to know more about
The "Grand Finale"... track from D.O.C. album is a Classiiiiiiick!! One of my N.W.A. favorites of all time!!
In Houston Texas MC Ren was always the best of NWA
yep Ren was my favorite in the group.
Hopefully the Director's Cut IS like 3 1/2 hrs or so.
yeah its pretty long
+TollFree999 i watched it, Ren has like 3-5 more lines :/
+Hookah Boy What about The Arabian Pr ? Does he have more apearances or anything at all ?
No Movie Is 100% Accurate. Movies Are Made To Entertain People.
+Marquis Wilburn True. But marginalizing MC Ren in a movie about NWA is like marginalizing James Hunt or Niki Lauda in Rush.
Your stupid as fuck, When Eazy E looked at the billboard he would actually be laughing because he had dre on contract so Eazy was making the money dre was trying to make.
Diego Lara What!? I Think You On Tha Wrong Thread. Nobody Here Is Talkin' About What You Are So Move Around.
Dontaydra Bowens I Promise.
mc ren was dope.and still is.
I can't fault anybody who doesn't go to a funeral for somebody close. I myself can't look at somebody I love like that. Even in the movie Cube said to Dre I can't go in, I can't see him like that. I need to hear his voice. I feel him 100%. It takes a lot to do that.
Mad Ry
That movie was also bullshit to make them(Cube and Dre) look good
I thought he was the best rapper in NWA. There was lots of rhythm and flow with the lyrics he delivered.
Young kids who don't know who Paris is (since Ren mentioned him..) you needs to go check all his old albums. Underrated as fuck. Beats were fire. Flow was fire. Content was fire.
Paris was a beast with the lyrics
Immortal Technique Paris and The Coup rarely get their props as being some of the most politically conscious acts
And obviously we don't know what went down but in the film when they had the beef in the hotel room I like how Easy only called Ren to back him .....Kelly park babyyyyy.
Dr Dre and Mc Ren Sounded Good Together wene they played off Eachother! Peep they Earlier shit
Alwayz into something
+MrWARBUCKS24 best ssong on niggaz4life.. bumped hard in 91
+FingaPrintz1 "Compton's N tha House," "Somethin Like That," when Dre and Ren would go back and forth and rap in unison was so dope and underrated
+Fanon Hutchinson right, "to da ppl da ppl , ppl da..ppl everywhere gather around"
And don't forget their verse in "We're All In The Same Gang". Straight dope.
One of my favorite tracks was The Dayz of Wayback with Ren and Dre especially the beat straight 🔥
Grand Finale was good; The Last Song by Above The Law was better, tho. Ren KILLED that track!!!
TheWanderer I agree. shit was bonkers..
Keith Witcher no ooooo...last song
TheWanderer none of NWA alums was not good to me at all.
The Grand Finale was way better than The last Song
Cool interview!
A NewWorld17 you got that right this was a very cool interview all together.
MC ren was deffo the best lyrically in the group
Shout out to my boy Arabian Prince the real G of NWA
Liu Kim yeah he was the first to leave not cube
Tairi Buchanan Hell yeah, he was written out of history in this god damn movie
I liked this interview. Ren didn't sound bitter to me. Thank you for this. :)
+Alan Smithee We didnt think he sounded bitter either... He was a nice dude, super laid back.
Ice Cube and MC Ren where my favorites in NWA
Another probably bullshit part of the movie us when Cube is at the computer, obviously writing Friday, minus the dude who probably actually wrote most of it D.J Pooh.
When he's saying out loud, "You got knocked the fuck out."
Okay, so im a movie nerd, and im 98% sure Chris Tucker improved that line, cube didnt write it, and it wasnt in the script.
But, hey, you gotta make the movie, so i get it.
but i was like "whatever, Ice Cube."
John Webb it actually was in the script
Ren was so lyrical
That Nigga 4 life Album was so hot because of DRE production and REN skills was incredible .........they held it without ICE CUBE but GLAD that CUBE and REN tight...despite of everything that happened ...this is REN hottest Flow on this album.
Grand Finale is hands down my favorite track too!
Ren was one of first cats I remember double timing on a song Parental Discretion is Advised and If it Ain't Ruff
Freddy B whats double timing
M.C. REN IZ no Doubt Real. A Tru Brother. All His Solo Projects are all 5 MIC CLASSICS!!!!!! PEACE TO THE RUTHLESS GOD!!!!!!!
Ren was a beast, that baritone alone will beat the "breaks" of a n****!
Should have called the movie Ice Cube & Dr Dre Diss Eazy.......
+IceManLikeGervin
What's ironic is that cube was the first to really speak out against police but has made a lot of movies of himself as an cop
sharky H Cube been done sold the fuck out to hollyweird he be throwing up all the occult hand signs and his tv/movie projects are mostly stereotype based vehicles with a dose of gay agenda. Ice T too..the entertainment industry played him out. Mansion parties...fame is the devil's game no one get and free ass pass.
I have no respect for Dr. Dre
+MrNoluv cube was the better lyricist but Ren had the better flow.
@aryan raina yeah he was. Ren rhymes shit and dick over and over.
@aryan raina no vaseline is far from lyrical my summer vacation, us,when will they shoot, ghetto vet, ghetto bird are all more lyrical than no vaseline. What are you? some kind of dumbass? Overhyped? he has the best catalog in hip hop.
N.W.A.!Niggaz for life is there coldest album.
SUPPORT REN. BUY HIS PROJECTS!
born 1980 grown up in mid 80s n.w.a my favorite rap stright outta Compton greatest album and eazy e best album and the d.o.c best album I love n.w.a part childhood 80s
the most underated rapper ever
I feel that NWA as a whole spit FIRE! I was 9 years old banging their music after my mom left for work😂😂😂. Ren is a good artist no doubt
Dawn McNair WA never spit fire, NWA spit trash, and MC Ren is not a good artists.
Cube didnt leave nwa bcuz of eazy he left bcuz jerry played them out of there money
True! but why did cube try to diss Eazy on the no Vaseline song??
+CokaCola Twirly Curls cause they dissed him in 100 miles n runnin or however you spell it so he got pissed off and did No Vaseline dissing all of them pretty hard, except for yella really, he never really dissed yella like he did dre, E, and ren and even jerry.
+Noah Pickering Oh OK.. I have to check that out..
+Noah Pickering One line kinda killed him in No vaseline "Ya got Yella boy on your side so your losin" something like that, but he dissed him to.
Noah Pickering
NWA dissed Cube in Real Nigga from NIGGAZ4LIFE album, not 100 Miles and Runnin'.
Ren was very underrated
Quality! Sweet interview. Good presentation, questions and content. MC Ren- still the villain in black. Dope!!!!!
Actually I got the pleasure of interviewing Jerry several years ago and the guy who played him in the movie was very accurate. As a matter of fact for a split second I thought Jerry was playing himself in the movie! lol
why you didn't SHOW UP AT EAZY FUNERAL???
@Dingle Barry it wasn't Eazy, it was Jerry. Eazy didn't know about
My opinion is Ren probably didn't want to remember Easy in a coffin.
So they are playing Ice Cube in the background while interviewing Ren?? The irony...lol
+jhc1229 That was actually a mis-step on our hosts part... Honest, but completely ironic mistake. Totally agree... :(
eazy made nwa. though he wasn't a rapper at first, he brought the street to nwa. although jerry is hated, without him, nwa might have also not been that great. mc ren is a legend who isn't mentioned much.
Thats cuz ren is underground
ren was always my favorite..his voice & style
MC Ren & Yella's Bangin' in L.A. is where it's at, if you haven't heard it, look it up, out of Ren's 2003 Reincarnated album ruclips.net/video/0G3TZlUh8AA/видео.html
Ren was just as important to NWA as anyone else
MC Ren is my favorite of the bunch, honestly I'd say he's the best of all 5, as well. I think that Eazy, Cube and Dre overshadowed him because of the beef between them. But he was and still is dope, man, and y'all can't deny it. He was so talented, to the point it hurts me seeing Dre and Cube be so successful and make millions and billions of dollars, while Ren is doing interviews via cell phone.

Honestly, if you look up the song “Comin’ After You” with Cube & Ren...honestly, Ren killed it better in my view.
Easy had the game when he signed Bone they made the Dogg pound look like sesame st...C'mon man thuggish ruggish bone ..and they didn't even say a word about DPG
Easy E way too smart .
shit wtf Ren was the real MVP of NWA. Cube had dope lyrics, true, but i just feel like his delivery wasn't as good as Ren's. i mean, just compare Quiet On Tha Set or If It Ain't Ruff to I Ain't Tha 1. Ren's songs were the hardest shit on SOC.
Can we find Donovan "The Dirt Biker" Sound Smith. He was the mix engineer for these guys.
They should have had BG Knocc Out in the movie.
He basically still looks about 19, and he's a real G.
MC REN, the hardest nigga in C.P T . Always keeping it real !!! N W.A 4 LIFE!!!! Drop an album just for kicks it will be cool bumping some NC REN !!! Above The Law! pimp clinic! West Coast "G",
5:46 on he ZAGGIN4LIFE album cover , Ice Cube wouldn't have liked that .. he said; "I would've been the one living ...explaining what happened " He felt NWA went in a different direction and took things too far.
yep
niggaz4life was especially different because the group had more tracks. They had the computer which tripled track count-- literally hundreds of stereo tracks. Previous albums were 32 tracks, 48 tracks maximum on the reel to reel.
€azy n Ren was the true OG who knew whats up with the street mentality...Ren and Yella stood by €´z side till the end...much respect to Ren & Yella(Antoine C)
r.i.p
€azy € 1964 - 1995
shock of the hour-much respect to the artistry
NWA is legend...MC Ren was my favorite, even if eazy's higher voice in the final chorus was always the bomb. miss that hhop days...
I feel like he is bothered by it, but just doesn't want to put his homies on blast. Like that kid in the group that did most of the work, but is overshadowed by the cool kids.
Ren's my favorite rapper, and it sucks to see him portrayed as a side-character.
+J. Saldana 100% agree.
J. Saldana I know he ain't my favorite mine is cube but I wanted to see their individual struggles so that when the made fuck the police it made a huge impact cube, dre, and easy got their back stories why not mc ren and yella the movie was good but it wasn't NWA
The first time I saw the movie, I didn't even know he was in it. So under utilized.
Quiet on the set ....dopest NWA song to me cos it proved to NY that LA could MC wit the best of them....MC ren was alway my favourite from NWA , obviously Cube was dope but it was he's look and image that captured ppls attention more .
MC Ren !
Paris... album was dope! "The Devil Made Me Do It" ~ Classiiiiiick sheeet!!
Paris was def that dude fr
DoomzdayTRU FUCKKKKKK YEAAA IT WAZ 😎🎤🎧🎵
he's so modest, ren is the best in my opinion, I think he the best rapper out of all of them and he is definitely the fastest rapper in nwa
After watching that movie..i would think that mc ren wasn't even in the group..they gave him no play in that movie at all..an they just seem to gloss over that
Ren is the realest one he turned down mc eight role n menace to society
R.E.N spells Ren but I'm raw
I really liked the movie but they really made Eazy look like a b*tch.
1. He didn't actually get jumped but Suge's guys. They all had guns and he put a fake signing.
2. He was never broke like that, he still got 20% of the money from Dre on everything he released
3. Didn't show any of the legacy he had after Dre left
There is probably a lot more wrong but those are the easiest ones to see
Cactusben and MC Ren was easily best in NWA
MC Ren reminds me of my uncle, an air force pilot
cube and dre have gone too commercial. ren's opinion is the only one I care about with this movie...
Dnt forget Dj Yella . He didnt go all commercial either .
everybody is commercial, the only people complaining are the ones who don't make it
By that, do you mean more successful?
By that, do you mean more successful?
He means like mainstream
I'd never heard The Grand Finale before watching this video. It was like listening to an unreleased track from Straight Outta Compton :)
+Gideon Waxfarb This comment made the interview worth it. Glad you discovered a dope track because of it!
Much Love to the Ruthless Villain from Baltimore Maryland 💪🏿💯
Mc ren 😻😻
ren was underrated] when he put out a album he knew how to stop& make a dime album vs keep going w/ bs songs]] "when i hip i hop i rock the spots i dont know what it is , but the grls get hot"] lol
MC Ren da Legend 💯
Same Old Shit every morning when i wake....
Most of yall haven't even heard MC Ren solo tracks or Niggaz4Life album if we're being honest.
+Shteno compton and LA is not the same :p
Lmfao Ice T is a fucking joke..
Lol
Conway 33 u trippin.
Shteno Ice-T is originally from "Philadelphia!
he ain't lying
N**gaz for Life was my favorite album from them.
Stop sleeping on Mc Ren
