Comic Sans has a reputation for being used by people who are hard to take seriously or just annoying. So he is saying Elliot suffered enough and deserves a more dignified font.

@@SageGrundy Not really. There are a few fonts that are known for different reasons like the formatting of papers in college. Mainly people who know fonts well use them alot and it's an extension of personality. People might have a favorite font or they might use one of several depending on what they are saying and who they are talking to. There is actually psychology I could send the same sentence in an email and it could seem serious, sarcastic, sad or flirty depending on what the font is. Some scream it some are more elegant companies pay alot of money deciding on the best font for advertising. I actually didn't realize how much I know about fonts untill you asked lol. Gotta love useless information. It all goes back to the type set for printing presses. When they had to make actual metal letters. A few we use today are around from that time and as technology came along it was easier to play around with them and Comic Sans for example is one of the early computer font. meant to look like the writing in a comic book. The sans part meaning Sans Serif being a whole family of fonts. Most of the time I would say people dont even notice unless it is significantly diffrent then what the norms are or they happen to be looking for it.

I'm an alcoholic - I quit but relapsed a few times- I was really bad - so many hospitalizations, so physically addicted - and yes, this song is most definitely about alcoholism and I can't listen to it without crying. The metaphors and double entendres are amazing. And yes, it could apply to any addiction. At rehab, I was struck at how similar alcoholics and heroin addicts were. We had different types of detox symptoms but were both stuck in the prison of addiction. It is hell on Earth.
@@-awaste Hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel. I can promise you that. Be careful though. Know when you need medical help. I detoxed multiple times before it stuck. But there were a few times I had to go to the ER or I would've been toast. 190 over 120 BP from trying to quit. Needed a benzo drip. 'Bout 6-10 days, you're out of crisis mode, but it will coming knocking over and over again. 18 months is the goal. Wish I had a doc who'd have given me a small script for Xanax to get through the hard times, but I made it nonetheless. Six years now. Very glad I quit. It takes a while before one realizes that that cell is on death row. The date may be years away, but the pain is horrible. The longer one waits, the longer and harder the tunnel. Hang tough, you'll know when you must make the journey. But you're never "ready" for it, so don't let that line of thought delay you. Try to taper off of it. Slowly is best. Good luck, my friend.
