I think he's dealing with immunity compromised disorder. Which can be caused by a simple bacterial infection or something as serious as cancer. I think that after hearing Darren Till say every time he trains hard he catches a cold or something and is down for days. If his body can't fight off a cold then he has something affecting his immune system. What that is, who knows. But it seems to always get worse at the time he's cutting weight which also lowers your immune system. But if you already have a compromised immune system it can be worse. That's a guess, but he sure gets sick easily. By listening to what Darren Till said, its happening all the time. He needs to get a serious medical check done. The UFC should request one done. Because something is happy with his body. His life is more important than fighting. Just speculation, but he sure gets sick a lot, and Darren Till made it seem like this is regularly happening when he trains hard.

My only thing with Chimaev is I don’t feel like we know the full story 100% confirmed. He reminds me a lot of the OG Borz in the ufc. The guy who even Jon Jones admits sat him on his ass screaming with a body shot, Amagov. I’ve looked for years for genuine, official information about his whereabouts and fighting activity as I’m sure he’s still fighting and likely for some old money oligarch somewhere. Guy was gifted. Being from that region especially when uniquely complicated by active military campaigns, historically it’s not so simple getting long term work visas in the states. I know some drivers in motorsport couldn’t so easily either the past few years. Purely speculating here 100% but if there’s an element of that mixed with shades of the similar variety, truly you can’t blame the guy. The stress of it all would change your ability to be effective and perform I’m sure too. That might not be the case but I do wonder sometimes bc there’s def something more going on

@@chrishayes5755He pulls out a lot cause his training is very bad. He trains like 5 times a day with very high intensity for every single training session. He’s always overtrained, and is always showing the symptoms for it. An overtaxed and overworked body will have a mic weaker immune system, allowing opportunistic bacteria, which would normally be kept at bay by his immune system, to send him to the hospital.

Ironically, what made Khamzat such a phenom is also what’s proving to be his undoing. The guy is pathologically driven and trains like a true madman.
The problem with this is that it drastically increases the likelihood of injury or illness given the strain it puts on the body. But on the flip side, when that doesn’t happen, it makes him exceptionally successful.
And for a while Khamzat was able to consistently capture that lightning in a bottle, but obviously not anymore.
He needs a much firmer and wiser hand at the helm of his career. If he went to Dagestan and allowed himself to be truly coached by Javier and Khabib, his fortunes would change dramatically.
He’s good but overrated in my opinion he fought burns and the fight was way too close, he fought usman and I thought he lost that, he never looks good against top competition

Nah he’s definitely got something medically going on. It isn’t normal for an even out of shape unhealthy person to be hospitalized 3 times in a year, but this is a professional athlete. It was covid, then the broken hand from the usman fight led to him somehow being hospitalized with pictures coming out that looked like the dude was the victim of like chemical warfare and now there is this. Not sure what people expect from the guy honestly, when it comes to genetics and medical issues its really outside of your control for the most part

I was so pumped for Khamzat and enjoyed watching him fight. Especially when he was 100%, he would just steam roll stuff. Jumping back & forth between two weight classes and fighting whomever. Then, he started getting injured or sick. The COVID that almost killed him really fucked him up.
That, and I think hanging out with Darren Till partying all of the time, as well as getting rich and not having to struggle anymore. I think that helped, too.

He's always got some sort of excuse to not fight. It was his hand for a while, but that proved to be a lie. Now "food poisoning" which is over with in a few days. I always thought the calling out of guys in MW and beyond just silly. He's not that big and I think a well built MW would have him struggling. And he knows this, too, methinks. A round 1blitzkrieg is only possible with someone you can drag around, physically dominate. Usman gave him problems. Robert would have been too big, too fast, too skilled.

The judges obviously had money on Kumshot. They gifted him that win... If you remember, the audience went from cheering Kumshot's walkout and actually booing Burns on his walkout, to then BOOING THE DECISION! Kumshot heard the crowd swing against him and apologized for the bad fight. Everyone knew he lost, only the corrupt shady judges went against Burns.

had it not been for covid, I think he would have been. his body just had a REALLY bad reaction to it. i don't want to pretend that I know if it was (immunologically) over-reacting, or under-reacting, but the damage is clear. I honestly think he WAS that guy, but covid changed that. Who he was before covid, and who he is after, are literally 2 different people. I feel bad for the guy, none of that is his fault. It's fighting but you still have to maintain some level of humility as a human being. He lost the plot once he got a little bit of money and God is punishing him for it. He had nothing, got a chance and then blew it.

Khamzat Chimaev is suffering from post Covid complications that have affected his lungs. It seems that he gets asthma attacks which at times can be fatal. His photos of him on a nebulizer mask suggests that he’s on a cocktail of Atrovent/Pulmicort inhalers along with whatever other medications they’ve prescribed him. Dyspnoea is no joke, so let’s wish him, Good Health.

I am done with him. I went to Vegas to go see him fight Nate Diaz. All he does is pull out or miss weight or he can’t make it to the country. For me his hype is over for me. All he does is talk on Twitter
Contrast him to Nate. Nate has a pinched nerve that makes it almost impossible to train. He has numbness and weakness in his right arm/shoulder/pectoral muscle. Yet Nate showed up to fight this guy and boxed Jake Paul despite the serious injury. Nate would show up and fight even if his arm fell off! And Nate never even said a word about it, his coaches talked about it AFTER THE FACT. Kumshot cried that his weight cut was too hard so he missed weight, lied about his hand being broken, and now backed out of a fight due to food poisoning. Food poisoning sucks, but it's totally gone in 1-3 days max. But Kumshot backed out of a fight weeks in advance over a minor ailment that is completely gone in a couple of days. He's a liar and he turned into a little diva as soon as he had a small taste of money and fame.
He is still a fighter that could fight and hang up the best. Yes, unfortunately, wake cuts are not the best thing for fighters. Wake up to kill you mentally emphysically. But hosma is a fighter. He fights anybody at a time regards to the Visa and if you didn't have to cut weight so much so drastically it wouldn't matter. Cause justlike Joe Rogan says fight eternal weight and sometimes just don't cut weight and just fight. Just fight when I'm forcing with the sport. You have to always cut weight. There's not that many weight divisions in general, fight are all tough, but the toughest fight is to cut the weight. That's the biggest part of fighting yourself more than someone else. I wish they would change the rules for they could fight and not cut so much weight. Cause there are a lot of fighters out there. Regardless of the weight cut, there are good. Have a high level fighters. Period

Against Burns, he arguably lost and got lucky with the judges. Against Usman, with Usman coming off the couch and only a few days notice, he barely won and if the fight had been 5 rounds, Usman would have won. Against anyone who can grapple, he's not very good.

Khamzat's styie is built to finish the opponent as quick as possible. In a grappling match he had with Jack Hermanson, he scored a huge lead with 3 takedowns, then let his foot off the gas and ran the clock out. Same with Burns and Usman; went berserk in the first round, built up a lead, but faded as the fight went on. Health issues and pullouts aside, I don't think Khamzat's style is meant to go 5 hard rounds. Now we have a guy who can't fight in the US, and pulls out just days before fights that were meant to elevate his status. Hype train derailed.
