Wildflower is a masterpiece. Rm writes so perfectly. I cried when I listened and my heart just went out to him. But as they say- if they’re singing about it they’ve already processed it. So even though I’m sure he still has the same fears it seems he is moving forward more confidently in who he is as Namjoon and RM of BtS.
Watching Suga perform "Agust D" live is such a rush! Especially that fast rap in the second verse!
Before I started to listen BTS songs I also thought that some genres of music are not for me but with time everything changed 😂 I found myself completely enjoying OT7 music and different colours of members. Life has so many colours like music has so many styles.
This is so true. Who would've thought I'd like hard songs like J-hope's More or Arson, but I just love his entire Jack in the Box. And when I first heard Daechwita, I also said, this wasn't my kind of music, but now Suga is my bias.

I always love your BTS reactions because you're always so attentive to the music video as well as to the lyrics. Yes, BTS is the only musical group that could make me feel so much, makes me want to be a better person, and makes me realize that I should love myself before anyone else. I stopped sharing my love of them to others that I don't know well because most are not open to listen to things that are very "different" in their eyes. And I feel bad for those people because BTS songs and the members themselves truly comfort me. Can't wait for your next video!! 💜💜💜

I can’t put my love for BTS into words properly either. I found them right before the pandemic began and they have helped me hang on even in the darkest of moments. Their lyrics are such introspective, deep poetry that is both incredibly relatable and so vulnerable at the same time. They reach something in my heart that nobody ever has and probably ever will again. I just owe them so much and will always support them and wish them the absolute best. ❤

19:15 you should’ve been there watching his d-day concert livestream…the encore shows, they were everything. I never cried so much during a concert (and I’m a little embarrassed to say this my age 👀). Yoongi is different. I really like each and every one of them, but he’s got a special place in my heart.
Now that all of the members are in their solo era while being temporary separated due to military enlistment of some members. I'm not being biased.I'm Taehyung biased but among all the solo stuff,I really love "WILD FLOWER".The amount of tears,i had cried listening to that song. I've cried and felt the emotion just by reading the lyrics word for word.Also Indigo is my fave Album among al of them. That was truly a masterpiece that only a genuine and true artist will appreciate.Its maybe the most underrated Album out of the 6,since Jin only release 1 song. I love all of the 6 Albums,but Indigo is a masterpiece. RM is truly a genius lyricist. I love them so much.

With this I would really love to watch your reaction to The Rise Of Bangtan, is a serie of 20 ep and bonus/deleted scenes that ARMY created to tell the Story of BTS, I became a full ARMY in 2021 but I learned so much this year about them thanks to that, it's a good job.
And about the stuff people said, yeah, it's the truth, being a Kpop fan and especially being an ARMY it's hard, people have so much prejudices and they are mean with BTS, with the fandom and everything, when I started my journey, I'm sure many can relate, but my family was surprised and they just laughed at me, in the school I felt shame because I watched how people get bullied and ignored, only the dancers were "forgiven" and everyone liked acts or something like that, but to those who just listened to the genre or the group, was a hell, I didn't know how to explaining (I felt like I have too) and that make me keep my love for BTS like a secret for a while. I don't care now, it's my life and I'm not harming anyone with that.
There's one video from 2013 that always make me cry, I think it's one of the first small fan meeting and after they started receiving hate from K-media and kpop community, where they wrote they're own letters for ARMY... Jungkook with 15 years old and tears in his eyes, said:
"I want to become a singer that can touch people with his voice and also become such a singer that people can, without hesitating, proudly and being not embarrassed at all to say "I'm a BTS fan!". You're such an important existence to us, so I feel really upset when you said that you are sorry. I hope we can be thankful for each other. I believe that as time goes on, we will continue to make memories together and will even be able to talk to each other simply by making eye contact. I love you ARMY"

FYI; Their whole international tour was cancelled so they did a full online 2 day concert in an empty stadium which included amazing choreography and mind blowing visuals back in October for their fans. I was lucky enough to watch day 1 recording. It was awesome. I hear the guys perform for 3 hrs live. 0.0 sheesh. #BTS #LifeGoesOn

Sea=When Suga said “someone’s empty spot is our dream” he is referring to when they debuted. So if you guys didn’t know, BTS debuted because the group that was supposed to perform couldn’t make it so BTS were given the spot. Basically saying how someone’s empty spot gave them an opportunity. "Countless people get cut from broadcast, but someone's empty spot is our dream" is actually how their debut came to be. Broadcasting stations didn't want them, cuz Big Hit was a no name company and BTS only debuted because someone else had to cancel a show so they got the spot by chance.
Life Goes On was the first predominantly Korean song to debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 100, but it often gets overlooked. It got almost no radio play in the US, and ARMY still managed to propel it to #1! it only had 6 spins on US radio. 🙄

As an almost veteran army, lemme give you some insight. About the whole album i.e. BE, they shared the making process with us, beginning from the idea generation. There's an one hour live on Bangtan TV, where they are talking about what message do they want to share with the fans in such times. In that live only, we got to know that members would be taking active roles in the production process. Like, V was the visual director, J-Hope was put in charge of choreography, Jimin was the project manager for music, Suga and Jin were in charge of the album jacket, Jungkook was the director of Yet To Come, and RM was the music director 🫠💯

So the meaning behind it is you say "annyeong"(hi) to a person today and "annyeong"(bye) at the end.
Then, tomorrow you're gonna say annyeong(hi) again to that person.

Fun Fact: The stadium they performed in for the Life Goes On MV was the stadium where they did their first online concert (MOTS ON:E). They finished the concert (which had the ARMY bombs to represent ARMY), then changed clothes and filmed the scene for the MV. The stadium you could see while Tae was driving was the last one they performed in before COVID hit - it's where they had their last concert, and where they were supposed to perform for the Map of the Soul concert tour as well.

Hobi used a lot of hidden messages in the vid. Yeah its a deep song but happy. Hobi says he chose happiness for Army and it changed him for the better. So in the end he chose it for himself.

Yes, this was during Covid. You saw V driving and very poignantly looking towards the Olympic Stadium in Seoul where they should have been performing a concert, but their Map of the Soul world tour was cancelled because of Covid.

The "be thankful I'm an idol" is a diss directed at Korean Rappers who have said that "Idols can't be rappers". It's why he calls them "fried rappers", rappers who don't have talent, can't make hits and chart-toppers, who are pushing blame onto Kpop idols. If he wasn't an idol, he'd outright slaughter them in their genre. He's had those comments directed at his face numerous times, and he couldn't clap back at those times but he is in this track.
His name "SUGA" also comes from the word "Shooting Guard" as he loves to play basketball and loves sports too.The origin of the name Agust d: suga's name as a soloist is Agust d, if you spell 'suga' backwards it becomes 'agus' and he added the 'td' because he was born in daegu/daegu town; a city in south korea.

When he said all you rappers better be glad I'm an Idol, he and RM from BTS were told that they betrayed rap to become an Idol. They weren't rap anymore, they are now girls because they wear makeup. So RM with his song "Joke" and "Do You" and Suga with "Agust D" and with their Cypher 2 addressed rappers saying this. What's funny is the man considered the Father of Korean Rap, Tiger JK, loves RM and BTS. RM has done songs with Tiger's group MFBTY and on his solo song "Timeless"

I'm not sure how much you know about YoonGi/Suga/AugstD....but as you liked his MV then the following info might be of interest to you.
He is a respected producer in Korea currently and had won awards for his producing of other artists songs.
Suga/Agust D began writing music lyrics and working with MIDI at age 11 and held a part-time job composing and arranging music at a recording studio at age 16.
Active under the name "Gloss" (wordplay on his name YoonGi, which means "to shine") as an underground rapper, He originally entered Big Hit Entertainment as a producer at age 17 in 2010, but was convinced to become a part of a new group (he was told he wouldn't have to dance!! LOL) as a rapper alongside members J-Hope and RM before making his debut as a member of BTS in 2013.
In the initial years of his career in BTS, both he and his fellow group member RM faced criticism from the South Korean underground hip hop scene for "selling out" and becoming K-pop idols.
Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce and compose music.
In an interview for Grazia Korea, Suga/Agust D expressed a desire to release the music he wanted to do without having to consider popular appeal or music ranking. He intended to release his music for free in the form of a mixtape to avoid such considerations, commenting that an album "has a feeling of being trapped in some sort of framework" due to the need for company involvement in promotion and advertising.
Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. In order to differentiate his work from that of his work as Suga, he developed the alter ego "Agust D".

Lots of connections with older songs. We shouldn't forget what Namjoon said : INDIGO is his diary of his 20's (of those 4 years)He said this album is born from his feelings at that time. 😭 This ALBUM gives us an insight on HOW Namjoon felt during those years. Hope u watch the explanation vid by Bookish Theories. That period in time(pandemic) is so complicated. We are still hearing echoes from it to this day in their new music.

When I watched the Festa dinner I felt this break was more for RM . The whole group needs it to find themselves but I felt RM needed more and to go back to being Kim Nam-Joon then he can come back to being RM with a renewed energy . I think he saying he lost his identity people only think of him as RM , he had to only think of RM and BTS but that not the only part of him he is Kim Nam-Joon as well, he can be both people. That's what I got from it. I could be way off though. It's a beautiful and powerful song. So proud of him.

On his MV 3:03 that's what you call "Nakhwanori" or Traditional Korean Firework festival. Joon wants to pay tribute to the Traditional Koreans who still does this. The 'Nakhwa nori' festival is a traditional fireworks display that is held in May to pray for the well-being and good year of the people. Joon clarified that is not CGI, he has to close his eyes most of the time because it's dangerous for the eyes. Hope you see this comment.

I thought it was brilliant the way he was able to capture the fact that "flower" and "firework" are the same/similar in Korean by inventing the English word "flowerwork" ... and just the whole theme of Fireworks (high in the sky, burning brightly but brief) vs wildflowers (on the ground, blooming repeatedly, able to survive harsh conditions) was brilliantly done. Youjeen's voice is AMAZING, she's the lead vocal on a Korean rock band called Cherry Filter - and those rock vocals are so well used here. It's such an emotional song.

RM did say in Festa 2022 that the kpop industry doesn't give you time to mature, you have to put out certain kinds of music. Yes they had more freedom as far as creativity is concerned but they still had to put out music at an exhausting pace...
