Out of curiosity Woops, you said you like rhythm games that have progression systems to them. Have you played/heard of Deemo? It's an oldie and decently basic just using tap and slides, but its definitely one of my favorite casual rhythm games. Also funnily enough it also has Pupa in it.
Every rhythm gamer worth their salt should know of Deemo. Magnolia gang rise up lol

The noise for hitting the notes kind of messes with the rest of the music for me.
Like it's blaringly loud and different for me.
haven't you tried to turn hitsounds off???
You can adjust or disable hit-sounds in the settings menu, if it helps

Since I am watching on mobile I was (playing) as if I had the game, but by the time you went to difficulty four I was done for, I don’t really play rhythm games, even though I love them, so I stink at it lol.
