I'm still mining Clore AI with all my AMD gpus, no matter the cost. I'm glad people are riding the Aleo train, as it helps to increase my yields on other coins. I still think Clore will launch me into demi-god status by 2025. Trying to mine 250,000! Wababababooo boo boooooooooooooooooo!!!!
i have a good GA-EP45-DS3P motherboard paired with E8400 cpu and good ram, is it good for connecting 6 gpu's via risers like you do? Im asking because as far as i understand cpu/mobo/ram doesnt matter as long as they can run the operating system and have enough pci-e slots but just in case i'm missing something?
Every time I try a Pico psu it doesn’t work. I actually have a video coming out in a week trying it for a second time and it doesn’t work again. A zsx board would be better though I agree.
Why don't you use just something like corsair ax1600i? It's 1600w so plently of power and it's titanium too, so really efficient, also only one psu is always more efficient than 3 psu's
Corsair is a consumer PSU. Very expensive and not as expandable as flex ones. No idea how why 3 of them though. I personally wouldn't get anything below 2000w
i recently built a 3060 rig with the same motherboard and I had issues after 4 GPUs. Once the 5th GPU was plugged in the board quit posting. Take the 5th GPU out and it boots fine. After researching it I updated the bios and set all the bios settings to what everyone (forum posters etc..) recommended. I thought I had an incompatible bios setting or something that I was missing but after seeing you plug these in and boot right up makes me think the motherboard itself might have a problem. The only things I did different than you was plugged power into the AUXPWR1, AUXPWR2 and SATA_PWR1 connectors on the motherboard. (I'll be pulling those out the first chance I get to see if that's causing the problem) and instead of using 3 power supplies I used a single 2000w ATX PSU which should have more than enough to power the system and 5 GPUs. I'm stuck on this one. I gave up on it and put it to work with only 4 cards. Any suggestions?
I run my rigs with dual atx psu's with one doing the power for mobo, fans and risers and the second atx psu powers all the cards, as long as you add up the power use for each item then you know what wattage psu's you will need plus you save on space as well as having to buy cables.
@@gamingwithsmokeydan I just prefer platinum psu’s in general but nothing wrong with atx psu’s. Server psus will also be cheaper for the same amount of power.
@@ModernMiningHub I also went with atx for reduced noise but what ever works and is in your budget is the main thing, working on an 8 card rig right now but need more risers as think I got a bad batch due to 3 blowing at least 1 cap on each and others had a black bulge at the base of a few caps so threw them away as found out it is what caused my B250-C board to not work, But was in luck and when using working risers on that board it powered up and booted in to windows (ran out of free rigs on hive)
Why spend the extra money they literally have no performance advantage for mining. Unless you get a bulk deal on em. I did buy a bunch of little m.2 128gb for like $8 each
Now i guess i live on the edge … but i dont remember what wattage ur atx psu is … but id run 2 cards from that and than 4 on one server psu … prob run more efficient that way
You mean all on your own ? Wow , been building PC since I was 12 yo, really an achievement for what seems to be an all grown up man, probably have a trophy lying around for you.

the only thing i do differently would be use a biostar AM4 motherboard - the TB350 BTC. it has crap vrm but runs fine with ryzen 3600 - so then you can do proper cpu mining with gpu mining at the same time. we use a lot of ryzen 3600 because - they cheap, they easy to cool our farm gets hot in the summer. obviously there are many better cpus like 3900 , 5900 7900 et cetera but i trubble to cool them on the hot days (ive got four 3900s and they good but they hot compared to the baby 3600).

Smart putting the one with 3 fans on the end to help cool the rest of them! Great video man!
Thanks brotha!

Hi have 4 3070 in the single server PSU 1200W.
Can I Hade 1 more 3070?
My all system burn 105W???

why not use a PICO adapter to power the motherboard straight from server PSU ?, the extra psu is so unecesary

This guy was plugging into 120v is the main reason but definitely could’ve gotten away with 2. Agreed Corsair way too expensive
still need to just use the zsx breakout and get rid of the 500w psu to save cost
Truee one of the only good reqs!
If those gpus have fans on them why do you need the extra fans ?
Just helps pull the heat away from the cards. Thanks for stopping by man!
How loud is this rig with server psu?
@@ProfilaktiskasLT server psus are quiet if you don’t overload them. Basically close to silent.
