I have been watching you now for about 6 months, and I must say I enjoy this channel very much. It is calm, and gentle, and you are a very sweet personality. The accent is a plus. I never knew what journalling was until I watched your explanations. Now I have another craft to add to my growing list of favorite things to do. When you explained how people like you collect bits, and pieces, trinkets, and baubles, I was so surprised. I saw you pull out wee glass cups and dishes with tid bits on them and could not believe it. I had been doing that my whole life, and never quite knew why. I just could not bear to part with something that was sparkly, or a tiny figure, etc. I also do this with fabric, and laces, and what not. I had been a journaling. individual, and never knew it. Your style is exactly the amae as mine, I love 18th and early 19th century taste. I also love steampunk, the 1940's. and more. I am so happy to have a way to us these things and create gifts, and things for myself. The Momma passed in July of 2022, my sis and I had cared for her for 11 years. Laurie, my sis was loath to part with any thing tha was hers, as she collected like I do. I now have all of her tidbits, and fabric, and my first journal will be for my beloved sister, made from the momma;s saved treasures. Thank you so much for your delightful ways, and teachings. I am loving your project, I was kind of skeptical about covering that sweet tape measure, I just love that shade of green, but it came out so pretty at the end. The laces and all of the different trims and fabrics are just lovely. I am currently working on, a slow stitch pouch and some Massie machine stitched potholders that are little campers friends of ours are going cross country in a motorhome and I thought this would be a nice going away project
