2 likely upgrades for starters on the Oline
A very strong pick in Kneeland DE to rotate and learn under as future replacement to Tank
And the same scenario for LB Maurist to rotste and lesrn under Kendricks and Wilson
Those are 4 solid picks that were all inside top 100...
The 1st 3 in the top 40 on most boards
Then theyre all needs where we had hige holes
    We have no legitimate gripe
As RB is the easiest "skilled-position" to replace
Now we have the next wave of FAs, trades and cuts to finalized RB, WR, DT coming up
    Theres hope yet

McCarthy begged publicly basically before the draft saying they need a RB.

Lost an all pro LT for a LT that may never make the pro bowl. Then drafted a gaurd who also may never be a pro bowler. Derrick Henry wanted to play here and received no interest from Cowboys. He signed for only 8 million to Baltimore. Hopefully they found some gems because it appears to be one of the worst offseason that I can remember

So WHY doesn't their 1st rd Oline draft history NOT count towards any optimism?
They simply haven't missed in decades
Now, I understand your "...that might not make it..." referring to LT; Tyler Guyton
      But
Our drafting Olinemen period has been a success for the past 3-4 decades
Yet each time we do fans doubt
      Also,
Our draftas a whole has been amongst the tops since Will McClay has been here...15 yrs
      T
D4K as the 4th rd QB, Anthony Brown in the 6th, DaRon Bland 6th, Dorance Armstrong 4th, Dalton Schultz 4th, MG13 3rd
      Heck,
      Not only who we draft...
      But
Even our undrafted players are starting here and elsewhere
That's reason for hope in our drafts
      FACT
Injuries on defense last yr, VERY questionable coaching, past history of the lack of FAs and trades are key facts to cause pessimism and doubt...
So I'm on-board with you for the most part...
      Like 90-95% here 😉
But this has been quite a haul for picking 24th in the draft
That's pretty much like 2nd rd graded players with that pecking-order
The past 4 seasons we've been picking no higher than 17th when we lucked upon CeeDee falling to us
And that was 4 seasons ago
Micah's pick, Tyler Smith, Amari trade, etc
They were ALL met with disdain, remember?
But then again, here comes more foolishness...
      Like,
Last yrs 1st rd pick, Mazi Smith was made to lose 30+ lbs for crying out loud
      Make that make sense😢
The players we get aren't used to their best skillets
      Yet
      They go elsewhere and thrive
So it's less about talent and more about staffing
      To which...
I'm skeptical until I see the finished product as well
