Hi Lovella! Wonderful books! I also have the Kingart gelsticks and haven’t even opened the box! I don’t have a favorite book! They are all wonderful, maybe the Japanese and those Korea books, they are just different. Loved the tutorial ones!

This video is awesome ! I just discovered a lot of books 😍They are all amazing ! And there are a number of different formats, different universes, different layouts, it's impressive ! It's really impressive the number of coloring book releases 😮

My favourite's got the be the new Gugeli book, Colorful Time! I picked it up on BookDepository too, which was such a great deal compared to anywhere else. Funny that you pointed out the Christmas pic at the back - that's what I plan to colour in December! I'm hoping to colour both it and the page on the right as a pair. :)
I also have the new Mythographic and also the Alice in Wonderland Colouring Heaven special which are both spectacular. I didn't get the Miki Takei postcard book, but I recently picked up her latest 'Colors Make you Happy' book which is gorgeous.
There's some lovely books here, some of which I'd never heard of! Thanks for sharing your haul.

You'll Love the KingArt Gel stick's I have the whole 72 set they have a Metallic an the 48 set of the main Colors.. you'll love them. You can use them like neo 2's an like pastels on a cutting board. They are definitely water soluble so they work like a watercolor. I don't tend to Color directly into the paper a then use water because I find it leaves line's of where's you colored an if your paper can't handle a little bit of scrubbing to work all the color lines out you'll have streak's. So use what you use when you do your neo 2's... Great haul 🫂🌻🦋💜💙 TFS 💕🥰

Thanks for sharing your lovely new books. I have never ordered from Amazon Japan and I'm curious how one who is not familiar with the currency can tell how many US dollars something costs and is there anything else one has to know about ordering from there. Thanks for any help.
I used the Daiso sponge to blend soft pastel. Works quite well.

What do you plan to do with the gel sticks? Are you going to create backgrounds or can you color a picture with them directly? I've never used anything like that before.
I am most likely going to use them as backgrounds. I have used the Crayola Pearlescent ones, blending several colors. So I plan to use them the same way. 👍🏼
Have you ever tried coloring on iPad with procreate?
