I've just purchased a used first-version of the Canon 24mm tilt-shift lens and find it produces extremely clean and sharp images. I haven't yet had the opportunity to do as many shots as I hope to with this lens, but I'm going to do my best to use it as much as possible, even for "standard" shots. Although I'm generally familiar with how to a tilt-shift lens, I enjoyed this video and look forward to viewing more. Thanks.
Thanks for video.Ok I understand the big advantage of shift function with wide angle. But what about tele lens ? I have seen tons of vidéo about shift lenses but never seen any sample of picture made with a tele tilt-shift lens with the shift function. Thanks for reply
if im a beginer in Arch Photography just purchased a 16 to 34 lens and did a serious investment in my Sony, do i need a tilt shift if i want to expand my work in architecture photography or with the 16 to 35 is enough at the moment? i want to go all hands on this project.
Just sold my Sony 16-35mm after buying the Samyang TS 24mm f3.5 for my Sony a7rii. Just don't need the 16-35 any more. The Samyang is fully manual but easy to use with focus passing on mirrorless.
Stay tuned for part two - "Making Panoramics with a Tilt-Shift Lens" - anything else you want to know? Write below.
Thanks a bunch. a very handy feature
Not a problem. More in the series to come. Will do one on location followed by one tutorial style video all Summer. Maybe some updates in between?!

Awesome video showcasing the features of a tilt and shift lens! Thanks!
My pleasure! Part 2 incoming - and a third as well talking about other ideas to use it for.
canon is working on AF Tilt Shift lenses for the RF Mount. So it's soon not impossible anymore :)
They will still work with an adapter and those AF ones are going to be incredibly expensive!

The wide angle is the perfect starting point! Work up to TS!
