Another tip Tonio, the cpu can read your combos so you got to switch it up a lil, try throwing them into walls or speaker, once you have them stunned on the tap X to grab them to do the environment move, you can k.o the if they are in danger
Yo Tonio you gotta kick or punch right before they grab you to counter the grapple also try punching more it’s easier to counter grapples and get combos
Tonio they like to reverse a lot to reverse click r1 and l1 together when they throw a punch and also when you get your blazing grab wit x then you flick the right analog back and forth
Im jus still watchin these to see when you'll understand how to use Blazin correctly , or atleast learn how to do a grapple 😂, you should have watched the tutorials but i think the fact you didnt makes these videos better lol. Dope content 👍🏽

Not sure how many other THQ games you've played before, but you need to cut your teeth on something like No Mercy for N64 or something like that to learn how to counter grapples and learn the flow of these types of wrestling games. My roommates and I use to play this back in the day and we all had characters. Spent many nights drinking a few beers, and gettin into fights over this game lol. In fact I still have the Modified Xbox 1 that we used in my basement somewhere. Good to see young ppl trying out older games though, gotta get our toes wet at some point on the old stuff. Doesn't matter what fighting style you choose, but put the appropriate points into whatever one you choose. If your doing kickboxing put more points into lower body, etc.

You can use hard grapples and soft grapple during combos to mix up your opponent.
