Many thanks for these old movies and shows, starring Roy Rogers and Dale Evans! I loved these two when I was a child and enjoy revisiting them again. How refreshing to know that they, both, demonstrated such similar characters in their personal lives. If more people, today, followed their examples, this Country would be in much better shape. I know they are in Heaven and I plan to meet them one day to thank them for being such great examples for us to follow.
Those gorgeous silk neckerchiefs Roy wore put me over the moon. When Roy stripped himself of this scarf, I wanted to die. I wanted to be the one to find it and let it make my Adams apple melt into apple sauce.
Roy did have neater, sleeker & fancier cowboy outfits than the outlaws or sheriff. As a young boy watching Roy on t.v. in the 1950's; I wanted his complete outfit for myself; especially his fancy, smile pocketed, sleek cowboy pants !

What you said about neckerchiefs and applesauce sounded really weird until I watched the episode. Thanks for the laugh.
