Nice to see people speaking about submarine cable communication. I have been working on this for a good amount of time now. Good explanation.
One correction, submarine cable doesn't have the bandwidth limit. Bandwidth limit is on the equipment which is connected to the cable. Cable is just a media which can carry light. It's the equipment connected to cable which has the capability to convert the information into light. And any bandwidth limitations is the limitation of the equipment in converting the bandwidth to light. Cable will pass the light from one end to the other.
