I was in Maldives between 5-8 Dec'16 on a long due holiday. There I was, flipping through tv channels in my hotel room and for some reason stopped to see this video. The smiling faces, peppy music, innocent dance movements, unusual camera work all made me love the song instantly. What's even more appealing and refreshing is everybody in the video is someone you would meet on the streets of Maldives. I remembered the band name and found it with my first search on RUclips. This song will remind me of my days in Maldives. A beautiful song by the beautiful people of Maldives.
As a half and half (American married to Maldivian) I am a big time supporter of Detune and love this song from day one! Played it for a friend of mine who is from New Orleans and he said it sounded just like a true Louisiana tune! Great song!
