I just wan't to warn everyone that I did falter a bit from my normal upbeat self in this one but I just couldn't hide my disappointment at the QC issues. I'm sure most people won't have my very specific issue.
Brad The DC Universe Geek when I get that Rebrith Wonder Woman figure that has the correct forearm I might turn out alright. When I do my next review someday.
I bought this figure twice each time hoping they would correct the issues but they did not. The skin on her shoulders and neck both times were two different colors. Her hair had missing paint. Her boot hand missing paint. It was an awful figure facially speaking. However I loved her powerful thicker build versus the Mafex 60 version. Which by the way really looks more like Gal Gadot and is 100 times more poseable. I don't think they were designing this doll after Gal - nonetheless they could have cared enough to get details right to make an aesthetically pleasing doll. Also, I love her new design on her costume.
Wow I also had the dc icons rebirth ww in my display it was literally the ONLY reason I got the set because I freaking LOVE WW! Her new look is her best costume imo. I just love her new look much more than the new 52 and I loved the silver on her.maybe her face looks a little chubby but it is the best WW head sculpt we’ve gotten ever , her hair wash looks great and her sword looks great! It looks like she’s the female with the most sculpting so far. I’m going to replace my icons WW with this!
I know this video is old so Idk if you will see this comment but with all the batman figs you've purchased and all the accessories thats have come with you should do a video of all the diff items you have and how many batarangs and grapple guns etc you would find in brads batcave lol
I know it's been 5 years since this video but I just found this figure loose for a dirt cheap and bought it on the spot! I'm happy to report that mine's forearms were properly assembled 🙏🏻
It sucks that Simon got booted out of the wave, I will get him when he comes out, still. I do want to get this Lex Luthor, since I don't have one yet. Guess I could always use the Apokalips head, and put the human head on a suited figure for regular Lex.
Good video, I hope next year they release a justice league wave to have the trinity, cause honestly until this moment I haven't liked any multiverse Batman, Superman nor this WW figure. If only they looked as the picture in the box...

That qc sounds bad though. I’ve beeen lucky to have not gotten a bad quality figure maybe some paint splotching or warped leg syndrome but never as bad as shown here. But I also wanted to ask where you bought the wave? Toywiz? BBTS? I need to start buying the waves online. Maybe Mattel will see this and send you a new figure if they are nice enough. I agree with you they’ve been in the game too long to still do things like this
Theses figures look nice but the problem is for this wave they want 50 to 100 dollars which is way too much money. Unless ofcourse it's before the holidays or something.
They did the same with the Jim Balent Catwoman as they did with Simon Baz, maybe those 2 will be in the same wave together or show up another later. Hopefully.
Hoping for that, too, or maybe Baz getting a few effect parts and sold with no collect and connect part, but that seems less likely for such a newcomer.
Does the DC Icons Wonder Woman figure come separately or only in the seven pack? Because I thought that one looked better than the one you were reviewing.
I’ve also ordered a second one to Mattel a second chance on this one. I really wanted to say pretty much nothing but positive about this but the messed up arm was a big let down. I have a second on the way. Fingers crossed she is better.
@@BradTheDCUniverseGeek I agree the arm defect is a huge letdown. But you should check with other collectors. Cause it might be a manufacturing defect specifically with the figure you got.
SpecialK 33 I’m not sure of distribution yet but I pretty much always order my regular wave Multiverse figures from Paulmart Store because he gets them in really fast. I preordered these in September along with the LoBo wave. He’s my go-to guy.
Preach on fellow action figure collector! I don’t know why DC Mattel keeps using cheap clear plastic that’s just painted over. I mean the DC figures look good in the box but as soon as I take it out and pose it QC issues all over. For the joints already have stress marks/cracks so you can’t even pose the figure without further damage.
Your Mattel stuff has clear plastic and stress marks? Yikes. Mine are OK that way. I’ve only ever experienced stuck limbs, sloppy paint, and mismatched limbs as far as negative stuff goes. They do need to up their QC game pretty urgently though. It’s only hurting their reputation among adult collectors.
They need to update the neck joint system. And switch plastics. They don't hold detail well enough they're too "soft". They need... to hire me! Lol I might seem harsh but I'd make them better.
This def looks like it's inspired by the current movies. Very cool. Still the sculpting looks sub par As far as the QC issue, if you picked this up from a store, if their were multiple this was avoidable. But yeah that always sucks
Arrowdodger well that’s just sad I would of liked to have the multiverse and icons in scale together because the icons were 10 time better then the multiverse figs.
I've had these on pre-order for 11 months now. They've just been getting delayed over and over again and you'd think in that amount of time they'd be able to work out most of the kinks and QC issues. Sorry about your figure. Have you tried to contact Mattel customer service?

Yeah, I often see people use the Agent Coulson figure for this, or occasionally masked wrestler figures. I'll definitely review my options, thanks!

I think you can fix that arm. Just turn it and cut the extra plastic from the elbow. Then glue the extra plastic where the elbow should be.

DC Multiverse is doing great lately. Except for a few errors here and there.

Mattel needs to do better sculpting on their faces....even Hasbro stepped up their game. QC issues are also a nightmare
