Lusaka house hunting can be wild!! The fact that you viewed over 10 houses shows your strength honestly. I totally understand the excitement once you finally make payment.
Just watched the entire vlog girl where them ads?? 🤪 #getthatcoin 💵 watched Kay’s vlogs aswell y’all don’t add them ads in your vids. Apart from that the vlog was very intriguing. What do you film with btw?
@@NyembaTembo Oh ok Im currently in Canada and they don’t show at all. Been watching a lot of y’all, genuinely like y’all’s vlogs👌🏾 but nothing. Thanks😊
I am currently looking for a house and it’s frustrating. You see a house posted 6 hours ago then you try to call just to hear that someone has already paid for it smh😢
Lol so true and you don’t want to pay too quickly cause you could get scammed. It’s like people are always ready to go for viewing. Have you managed to find a place?
Hello, today I got so tired while checking out house 🏡 😢 wasted a lot of money on transportation and viewing fees! I would really appreciate if you could share contacts of agents 🙏😭
house hunting in zambia is very easy, the problem is people want extra modern houses in prime areas like olympia, kabulonga, ibex at a chalala budget lol.
House viewing charges seemed outrageous to me at first but later I realised that after a person has showed you 3/4 houses you don't like, they've spent time and money to do that. Maybe 100 is too much, I think k40 suffices.
Thing is, they sign up for it when they decide to be an agent. BY LAW, it’s illegal. At the end of the day, we’re both spending time and money to get to these places. Also in my case, it wasn’t 1 agent who was taking me to all the properties. Some I even viewed on my own. They’d just call the landlord to let me in.
@@NyembaTemboExactly. Plus if you decide on a house they show you they get their pay FROM the House owner. So it should also be an incentive for them to do their job well and deliver for the client.

Viewing fees are illegal, so I just ignore agents who ask for them. The agents I used haven't helped anyone I've recommended them to, so it'd probably be a waste of time as well. I ended up finding my house on my own. It took like 2-3 months, so you just have to hang in there🥲😩
Yes hun. The real estate board of Zambia is trying to minimise scammers and chancers and warn anyone asking for a viewing fee is out of order and it’s illegal
I just don't understand the agents and I think the ones in Ndola are the worst... They charge k50 viewing about 4-6 houses and then demand 50% of your rent 😳... So if you paying k3500 × 2 months = k7000 they demand/ expect a k3500 too..😱😱 My habby asked one if it was his house to be charging pipo that much😂😂. The guy used to trouble us so much... until Habby threatened to involve the police
This is a very typical Zambian thing, especially for those who go to international schools and travel abit. I know atleast 5 girls who's sound just like this, it's a dialect in itself. I call it the Baobab accent lol

It’s SUCH an extreme sport, my goodness! Haha, exactly😅🫶🏾
Our girl, happy you found the place which was comfortable and pleasing to you 😊🇿🇲
Charging viewing fees should be illegal. I’ve seen some good houses in Lusaka, but we still need good modern house designs. Thanks
Yes it is illegal, but a lot of people don’t know that, so agents end up capitalising on it.
Viewing fees are simply appreciation for the agent showing you the house. Would you go around showing someone houses that aren't yours for free?
Brilliantly said
Charging viewing fees is actually illegal
Flat/House hunting can be quite stressful but once you find the flat you like, then it will be worth it, good luck.
Can you please be giving also prices of apartments?
I don’t remember the prices of all of them, but they were generally in the K4000-6,000 range.
Supporting my girl !!!! From ZAMBIA 🥰🥰🥰🇿🇲🇿🇲🙌
Thank you! 🥰🥰

The ads only show sometimes when you’re watching with a vpn on😅 I film with a Canon G7x

Mmmm sus indeed. Why do people love showing unfinished houses. Yikes.
Why are you using mimicking an American accent when you are in Africa?
Africans don’t grow up in America?? Or go to international schools?? Or simply don’t have their “native” accent??
LOL.

This is weird. She grew up in the States thats why she has an accent@@lookatyou5809 She's not faking it
