I've listened to many phenomenal pianists over the years, but NEVER have I witnessed one with as powerful a left hand as this kid. He just grinds out rhythms and his beat is so clear and driving. Man oh man.
This is PHENOMENAL. Not just being able to play a complex piece of music this fast so cleanly, but so musically and so expressively. Really impressive!

I can't even imagine the amount of time it would take for this muscle memory, cut to 3/4's finished when he's bobbing his head and looking into the audience without a care in the world, loving every second of it, never missing a note. Ultimate skill and dedication, gets me glossy every time I watch it! "Bah ba daaaa....!"

As a fellow pianist, I can tell you if you become 1/10 th as good as Luca, you will still be fantastic! You WILL get better, all you have to do is practice.

Uh, FYI - no vintage here. This composition was written by Luca himself five years ago. A modern day 'walkin' bass' / boogie woogie played to perfection. Keepin' the vibe alive. :-)

He wrote/composed Key Engine, his Efficiency in Movement seems almost effortless for one so young I am left in awe and nice Scott Joplin connection. Boogie on Dude! Boy have I wasted a lot of time guess I'm ready for my mid life crisis now. :) Whoever tuned/setup that piano needs 5 Gold Stars ASAP. :D

@@garymoeller892 yeah boogie generally (more so less this) must have nasty-looking sheet music. Or they've come up with their own shorthand for some things, or just leave some of the details to the imagination of the player. Great Balls of Fire is the closest to a proper boogie I ever played, and I would hate to see sheet music that actually wrote out every note. It would be the worst way to learn it.

I've been playing the Boogie Woogie on the piano for over 40 years and I find that's the easiest part to play.
