You loved your own pinned comment? What a tool 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I say this out of love, and I don’t want to appear like i’m being a jerk, but please don’t team up with Temu…..
Temu uses the wegher people as slave labor among many problems. Really gross your getting paid off other people’s misery
Temu is PRC spying tool to subvert their enemy, the US consumer and citizens. Please everyone, don’t download temu; they are the literal enemy.
Just unbelievable that you youtubers are helping the Chinese spy on us ,never download temu
Jared, you should do a show and tell video about your RC car collection some day, would definitely watch!
Yes that would be sweet
Agreed
I agree. I had no clue he did RC cars too
Agreed I hope this comment gets his attention
I'm all for this.
One major critique: If you're buying a head unit... GET A KNOB! Trying to use the touch controls for simple volume adjustments can be infuriating. If you have steering wheel controls, it's much less of an issue. If you don't... GET A KNOB!
This, its so dumb they are ditching the knobs, I bet there are more car crashes just because of touch screens.
So, get a knobhead unit? ;)
guess you could install a volume knob, kinda like how we used to have bass pot knobs back in the day when we didn't care about our hearing
Used to? I'm 41 😆
I stuck a Sony 1-DIN basic unit in my economy hatchback that cost half the chinese-android ones, and put the money into better speakers. Now my hatchback is a tincan from Suzuki, but still at low-to-medium speeds the music sounds great.
At highway speeds the noise crowds out the music but that's the tincan to blame.
I find these types of reviews super entertaining even though I would never shop off Temu or Wish. lol
Temu is spending a lot of money to get RUclips influencers to pitch their stuff now.
This is very untrue, i have ordered over 2000 dollars worth of stuff off of temu and almost everything has been amazing and worked as it should, keep buying ur jacked up brand prices while i buy what its rly worth and cost to make
Biggest issue I have seen with cheap zip ties is no UV / heat protection. Cheaper ones quickly become brittle when exposed to sunlight or any heat. Need to get UV resistant ones unless its something you don't care about long term issues.
They are OK under the dash or in the trunk, but not under the hood
The CCP greatly appreciates your patronage
NSA has your data
So does Amazon
@@au1317 as long as Amazon isn't owned by a Chinese company, Amazon's still tolerable if you buy from the 'name' brand stores

Your online , it's already out there 😅
The answer is probably yes you are throwing away money buying off temu
Huh, what?
Exactly
And since this is sponsored by temu there won't be any negatives so yes it's throwing away money and making e waste
I hear the real negative is a spyware app being on your phone.
a radio with a knob is nice to have to be able to turn the volume down quick fast in a hurry
You would think so. I have a 2022 ram 5500 work truck. The knob refuses to work for the first 30 seconds when you turn it on. Same with our 2019 van. Not a huge deal unless you had shut off the truck with the radio cranked up. Lol
@@lucassarchet6712 i mean after market but i get it
Temu is not a business for selling products they're a business to gather personal information about you.
Like Facebook, Google, Twitter
The "beekeeper" if you know you know
They gather personal information about you SO they can sell you junk you don't need. The whole thing is set up to psychologically make you want to buy piles of crapola. My mother-in-law used to love wasting all her money on gambling sites - now she buys junk from Temu instead. Her house is filling up with piles of garbage products she will never use - but she's hooked on it just like gambling.
Just like google and Facebook lol
Temu is doing much more malicious things with your personal data than Facebook, google or similar company’s. In my opinion I won’t have the app on my phone I don’t go to the website. It’s just sad to see someone whose videos you like promote a company that just sells junk that should not even have been made in the first place.
Old class A and B amplifiers are heavy but modern class D power switching amplifiers produce good power at a fraction of the weight.
"It's a little too small to be completely practical in a car." - my wife when I asked if we could recreate the Pam & Tommy tape.
🤣😂😉
The volume knob is the best feature on that thing!
Temu are meant to be a really shady
company
Temu, that's a negative ghost rider. Anything my cousin has bought from temu has been cheap garbage, kinda like when hobo freight got started. G-d bless.
Yeah, you have to manage your expectations. I have bought a few things from them. Some garbage, some not so bad. Bought a cordless electric ratchet that surprised me and helped me on a job tremendously. I would never compare it to a name brand one, but it did its job just fine and saved me a ton of time. I also got a LCD projector that worked well. Did have HDMI issues with one device, but that may have just been the device itself.
The whole site is set up to hook you on buying junk you don't need - the way their rewards etc. prey on the same psychological mechanisms as gambling does.
@@Beer_Dad1975 100% tries to get you to refer others for credits for free crap. Not going to defend them in any sense of the word. Ali express is much better and I've gotten some pretty good deals on there on real things, mostly electronic components for Bluetooth speaker builds.

Thank you for this video! Im a beginner driver and car owner at age of 44, you helped me understand some products I been looking for to buy.

My first thought when I saw the tiny vacuum was that would be perfect for keeping dust out of a keyboard.
Or for a smoker to vacuum themselves off before getting out of the vehicle 😂
The escalade be looking stunning
Your advice about checking the same and other websites for identical products much cheaper is spot on. Often there are "brand names" on websites which are exactly the same as generic items on sites like this for a fraction of the price. Even small items I'll often find for like $5 instead of $10 or so elsewhere.
Almost completely unrelated, I'm watching my brother's Great Pyrenees and it managed to get out the door and go on a 7h adventure in the snow while I looked for him and got exhausted. He showed up at the end of the driveway when I was about to go out driving to look again and hopped right in the car. Oof.
I have my Child safety locks on the back doors in my car for my dogs and I lock the windows when they get in. My Lab is no problem but my german Shepard boxer mix is insane and I could see her getting out.
@@jimyed Hahaha in this case I had been up late and someone else left the house front door not completely latched so when I came out of my room the door was wide open. I tried to lure him in the kitchen with food, but as he came in I tried to walk past him and he turned and bolted. I did a movie scene worthy dive to try to grab him and he slipped through my fingertips. When I went outside his tracks had already been all around the house and all over the woods. He just continued from there. He was probably outside for a total of 8-10 hours constantly on the move. Can't say he doesn't have energy. Luckily a rural area with limited traffic and he is pretty big and noticeable. Much faster than me across an open field and through the woods though. Go figure.
"Just wait `til you hear about an 8-track. That'll really throw you for a loop."
What you did there. I sees it.
i bought a s/duty, 2000. im in aus. the trucks are built in brazil under lic. from germany & u.s.. the motor is german & g/box. 4.2mwm turbo diesel. 700nm.. ZF 5 sp.. sold world wide except for u.s.. the point is.. its a basic truck, WITH A CASSETTE player.. no glove box, no tilt, vinyl. basic. but a damn good truck. bought a 7'' h/ unit 5 yrs ago, still in box.. only listen to radio..but a gps would be nice..
Nooooo... Not another content creator I respect and learn from peddling temu junk, temu is run by the chicom government and not only do they harvest you're data their business practices are very sketchy we are are being duped.
thank you sir.
you and pole barn are having fun.
The depinning tools are great and save so much time. I got the same one you show. They came with 6 sets of the tools in a little case. I use them all the time and you can't really beat them. Same for the zip ties. I don't know how long they will last but man you can never have too many of them. I also picked up the pull and cut tool for $3 and that thing has saved me from so many cuts and scrapes. Those tails are like razor blades.
I wish Jared would've linked the CarPlay head unit in the description.
The struggle is real trying to decide between the tiny funnel and the car emoji mood light. That RC car though... definitely the best value for entertainment while stranded on the side of the road. Thanks for the honest review, Jared!
I dont trust temu with any of my information people of company behind it have shady history
That small vacuumcleaner is ideal for on your computer desk. Just to clean your keyboard or smt. I have one too for that purpose and it works great. Also the blower function is quite handy when cleaning a keyboard.
Jared please. I’m a long time fan of yours from even back before the questionable garage days. I’m super into rc cars. They r a big majority of my life. I’m glad to see that ur into them as well but I’m begging u do a video just showing what rc cars u have at home. Please oh please.
So that’s three for an RC car episode lol
I might do a personal vlog channel for a mix of everything, my old paintball gear, the old rc stuff!
I got a mini toolkit from Home Depot for $25. I think it's a better value than the Temu junk and I have a Husky tool guarantee.
Hi Jared nice video 📹 and workmanship and nice supplys
i wish my head unit had a knob..hard to adjust volume without
Shame on you Jared for taking money from temu, what were you thinking?

Jared check the Atoto F7 Android based head unit with wireless AA and CP.
Also the Crutchfield Crux GMC2 will let you keep steering wheel controls and let you Bose work. 99 at Crutchfield.
Added the Atoto to my 2001 Chevy and it modernized the whole truck. Wireless android auto works great.
I bought an ATOTO for my Durango. Great buy for the features. 2 cons are that I am having trouble getting the backup camera working, amp isn't being turned on by the unit, and you can ONLY use their dashcam.
I want the car !!The the smiley face was cool. I saw it when I was there lol
With nothing but respect towards @The Questionable Garage, I think the best, most accurate experience Jared had was with the Emoji face sign.
I can confidently make the following predictions:
• If the Emoji sign continues to operate BEYOND the initial unboxing, it will not continue to operate in the correct matter; it will almost-certainly come detached from the window every time you hit a bump (and probably never come back On); it will refuse to come On when you want it to; it will not display the pattern you select on the remote; and/or it will come On when you DON’T want it to (when there’s a police officer behind you).
• the tire-repair tools (specifically the hole-reamer and the plug-setter) will break the first time you try to use them, with the cheap plastic T-handles shattering (especially likely in colder air), and the cheap metal shaft impaling the palm of your hand (AMHIK).
• the Tire Inflator will be unable to inflate anything larger than a 26” bicycle tube, but will continue to try to reach the preset pressure until it overheats and trips its “overload protection” - which is in reality, just the tiny 64-gauge Jhinese capillary wires becoming the “fuses” they were always destined to be - and the inflator will then become a handy rechargeable PAPERWEIGHT.
I will confess, I do own one of the compact units (the size of a 17-oz water bottle) and keep it in one of the bags on my bike; it might one day be useful in getting my bike to a safer repair location, but it has not a snowball’s chance in hell of fully-inflating any of the normal-size, 14-/15-/16-/17-inch Automobile or Light-Truck tires on my vehicles.
• the Mini-Vacs will reliably suck… but not in a vacuum-y manner. Either the battery in the rechargeable unit will soon stop taking a charge, or the motor will overheat in the same manner as the Inflator.
The corded unit may have a fair chance of continuing to run for awhile, but with the jheap Jhinese engineering (lack of proper bearings, insufficient wire-gauge, and inferior plastics), the motor will quickly deteriorate, causing it to become more of a noise-and-heat generator, than a vacuum.
Hey, I’m not saying anything most of us don’t already know. All I’m saying is, Keep your expectations reasonable, and you’re less likely to be disappointed by Jhinese Jhunk! #TheMoreYouKnow
Noooooo i hate temu
Temu is junk. Can't believe he is endorsing that garbage.
I'm happy to say I have a bunch of these things in my car and they do make life easy. That $4 vacuum-cleaner was known junk. I was looking into battery-operated air-compressor but found not much powerful ones. And the good ones had average reviews. So sticking with my existing 12v wired one. And that one has helped a dozen times.
I got the little pistol grip vac at my local Walmart ($20 I believe) just to vacuum up the 2 year old's cookie crumbs. Didn't have high hopes for it but it's been great so far and the charge is lasting longer than I though it would. With the "crevice" tool installed it might be able to suck up the dog hairs but I'd bet the little filter would clog quickly.
PS: That lowered Escalade just looks so right.
Looks nice
That RC car would be fun in the parking lot at work. Cheap fun
Have you seen Trailmater? They do rock crawling with their rc trucks.
@@JonStein-mu5ebI've come too far. The cheapo trucks don't give me as much of a thrill anymore.
Me and my son both have custom built rock crawlers, bashers, drifters, no prep drag cars. All with custom painted bodies, and aftermarket overpowered electronics (drag car does 0-70 in about 2 seconds)
Probably spent more than I should have between all of them. But considering I can't even buy one of my brushless setups for the price of the whole truck......so it might be good enough to get someone into the hobby.
If your into the crawlers, the new redcat 1/18 crawlers are on par with the best for about 100$.
Love your stuff, ain't gonna watch a 34 temu commercial. skip the scam sponsors next time

Im good jared im gonna stick with my lifetime replacement tools from harbor freight and small compact tool boxes from autozone but thanks for showing me not to order from temu LMAOOOOO
I have that RC & the Max that battery last about 30 mins and got upgraded battery and it really flies. Flipped it gundreds of times and its still rolling good.
Jared, I really needed to see how you got the Bose amp working! I swapped the head unit out on my 04 avalanche Z71 with the same exact Bose system, and my speakers are 100% non functioning, they worked perfect before as all that it had ever played was AM radio at a low volume (it was my grandpas truck). Head unit screen works and it connects to my phone but no audio whatsoever
Taking a Temu sponsor is not a questionable choice, it's a terrible choice. Dump that Temu now. I find this very disappointing. :(
100% agree, they have a horrible reputation for people regularly ordering things and never showing up.
You still watched so mind your business 😅😅😅
Nope turned it off. And you can't possibly approve of temu
Beyond disappointing.
@paulkaminski1434 why can't I
A coworker bought one of the tiny vacuums, it works great for cleaning out laptop heatsinks and fans. I personally don't trust temu though, too much high budget advertising, and when the product is cheap/free, you are the product.

Bought an $80 add on 10” screen with real CarPlay and android auto on Temu. A little bit slow user experience, but overall blew away my expectations. And yes, I’m sure it is real wireless CarPlay and real wireless android auto, which I wasn’t really expecting…
Man, please don't take money from trashy Chinese e-commerce companies. I'm sure you can find better!

I like that you got a lot od general staple items. The only thing I wish you had added was a battery or 12v soldering iron and a multimeter. Another one to grab as a quick filler item are socket stickers. I picked up glow in the dark ones than are insanely easy to read. The best $2 item out there.
With regards to what I keep in the car for emergency, I've got my "Oh sh*t bag".
It's got basic tools (including a foot long piece of 1.5" diameter stainless steel bar stock that can be use as a hammer, or pry bar), a can of tyre sealant, hose clamps, a few lengths of 12 gauge multicore wire with some "Choc block" type screw terminal connectors, a couple yards of stripped thick single core wire (for emergency exhaust hangers, or just tying stuff together), 12v inspection light, tow rope, medium sized cable ties for securing stuff to other stuff, huge cable ties to use as ghetto snow chains if I get stuck, a collapsible 2 gallon camping water jug, and a lot of other random small stuff that I've no doubt forgot about.
It's just a collection of things that have either been (Or would have been) useful when I've broke down in the past. Back in my youth I had to "MacGyver" whatever cheep and cheerful piece of junk car I owned at the time just so it could get me home. Before we had mobile phones and 24/7 breakdown recovery we had something called "Self reliance", and it's a mindset that's hard to grow out of. :D
I never heard so many half hearted recommendations! LOL
I agree...... There is times you need something thats stiffer 😅
Lol. Am I the only one who laughed when he said, "You have to pay extra for the sucking and the blowing?"😂😅😂
Hi. when you open a bag of cable ties just tear a small hole in the middle of the bag. You can hook the cable tie out with your finger but the ties wont fall out all over the floor/bottom of tool box etc
Ive seen those plastic handle plug pushers hurt people get real solid metal ones. Far cheaper than having a hand rebuilt.
That is the rock-solid TRUTH (speaking from painful personal experience)!
so did you get the stereo to work?
jared i understand that you have to take sponsors and im not faulting you for that, but temu is a bad company and is being investigated for holding peoples card information and charging them after purchases. thats also not even including that the quality of the items they sell are not good ever. you are putting your name and face to this ad, YOU are selling us this company, even if you said in this video none of this was worth buying, you still are advertising and promoting temu and giving out a code for free money, people are going to use your code no matter what.

i haven't hada chance to use it yet but i ordered a cheap drone thinking if it will work it can help me plot accessibility for trails off road in the truck and hopefully be fun while doing so
The head unit you got has a way easier way then using the pac unit and can allow for more integration into the can buss systems. It's a special adapter that works like the pac unit but dose way more. It's also a good idea to search (android head unit) followed by (car year and model) those kits come with everything you will need.
Thanks Jared
Not a fan of the automotive RUclipsrs making temu adds for cheap Chinese products or long video adds in general. What you are not testing is the longevity of some of the products, also I bought a cheap tire repair kit and driving bar pulled right out of the handle and it was metal.

Keep up the good work loving the content.
I did buy that same car it worked great for a few days till a small jump and it broke all the suspension now it is a bunch of parts that I may try to swap into better made cars. For a few dollars more there are better made Chinese rc cars on Amazon. That do have parts you can replace when you take a 15 ft jump and land on your rc’a nose.
i once had a rear diff explode, literaly, there where chunks of the thing in the pavement, the pinion came loose and jam against the casing and cracked a hole in it, i was able to disasembly the thing and remove the center to at least roll the thing off the road (the thing being a kia cab over thing), and all i had was a ratchet, a wheel chuck and a crecent wrench, i figure that if you need more, you are not fixing it at the side of the road, that time i didn't i just got a wrecker to take me home

But from someone with years of experience in headlight restoration AND replacement, let me just add that applying at least a couple of layers of a good quality ceramic coating on the lenses after the polishing process (and a final cleaning to remove all of the polish residue) will dramatically increase the amount of time before UV exposure begins to deteriorate the plastic again.
I also recommend using it on NEW plastic lenses, to help delay the need to recondition them.
Another 40(+) year old with an rc addiction here. I'm up to 13. I have mostly AE 1/10 buggies and stadium trucks and 1/8 ebuggy but also have a Slash, TLR 22 4.0 and a Tekno EB410. Believe it or not, stock Slash offroad on carpet is actually a lot of fun if the others racing are also good drivers. Passing is so hard because the diffs unload so easily.
The switch 12v needs to be jumped to the pink wire on the existing wire harness for the truck. That powers the factory amp and provides power to Bose speakers. You’ll thank me later.
Jarrod I didn’t think you were old enough to know about 8tracks lol!
I agree with all the things you selected, however id rather spend the extra money and buy American made
American made does not exist.
This is very untrue, i have ordered over 2000 dollars worth of stuff off of temu and almost everything has been amazing and worked as it should, keep buying ur jacked up brand prices while i buy what its rly worth and cost to make
Regarding those android head units, something you didn't mention is that you can customise nearly everything, including the home screens. It's essentially an android tablet, so you can uninstall your own choice of launcher and other apps, such as ones that work with your OBD2, TPMS, etc. Also, another thing to watch out for is the amount of RAM it has. If it doesn't have enough, it can lag at times. Make sure you get one with at least 4gb of ram, know your way around Android, and you'll be fine. 👍
I have a bunch of RC cars and trucks, mainly Traxxas nitro trucks which are fun but the battery powered ones are so much easier to use
I've found stuff that is really great and some that's not so good but, the majority of what I got is fine. Vevor is better for equipment, by far and cheap enough, too.😊
