I was definitely thinking about doing a 52/63 swap on my square body for awhile but after going to King of the Hammers I was inspired to go to links. Still wicked cool to see how easy it can be to set up suspension on a budget fullsize chevy. Good stuff!
I'm rewatching some old videos and I just realized that you guys used adam dueling frame plates, that's pretty awesome! What ever happened to this project?
⚠️Warning: Jackstands!!⚠️ May be a moot point, but I’d recommend checking this jackstands with HFT FOR recalls. Mine I had were recalled. They let me bring mine in for cash before they had replacements. The new replacements are pretty nice. The recalled ones were known to cause failure and fall so definitely a hazard. If anything maybe someone else might see this and swap theirs out. Hence the symbols, exclamations etc. (not trying to be a jerk 😊)
Really surprised to see the chassis on these types of US trucks are not box section from the factory. They must flex and twist a lot, especially off-road.
I bought the blazer for cheap to use part of the body. Rather than tossing the frame, we put it to use. This was originally going to be a scrap parts build.
Yep, that frame damage is from dumbasses dropping their T-case with the factory collars. Beat on it and it ruins the frames. Learn from it folks and stop doing that!! :)
That's going to be nice .
I have missed y'all. Also, it was good to see Howard. I hope you all are doing well and enjoying life.
We have been pretty busy lately. We are doing well though, thanks!

Looks good . I cant wait to see more of the build. I want to do a solid axle swap on my H3 but I have a lot to learn first. Take care and stay safe.
Cool project, good to see you guys👍
Love the projects. Love the work. Love the jams. 👍
Cool. I'm doing a frame off Blazer restomod for my channel too. Subscribed!
it's the first time to notice the frame can be lifted by two guys. omg
👍👍
I was surprised to see those little hangers in the back of the blazer. Those are 2 wheel drive hangers on the trucks. 🤷♂️

What ever happened to this project?
We ran into a few issues with the transmission and shifter setup. Then it got pushed to the side.
Do you have any videos of the bronco that's sitting next to this project in the driveway?
We have a video building the 4 link on the rear. The rest are still in work. We’ll have one for the 3 link and some sheet metal work.

Thanks for the PSA! I believe these were some of the defunct Jack stands, good eye! They got traded in 🍻
@@RecklessWrenchGarage awesome! Maybe we’ll save a life with our comments!

They do flex quite a bit.
Does that Lexus in the background belong to one of you guys? It's pretty sweet. Also, Who is Dave?
That Lexus is Kris'. Kris also likes to name drop people all the time, and I have no idea who he is talking about, so welcome to the club!
Dave (Wilomet Motor and Fab). I like to assume people know who I am talking about when I’m talking about them. 👍🏻😂

Terry drills, were u sheet metal, air force or navy?
The box was retired from sheet metal.
Air hammer?
My air hammer is garbage.
Mike at what podcast?

Why such an awful frame to start with? Budget? I can understand that! I’m a fan !
