I would only recommend doing this if your car is slightly dirty with a little bit of dust for heavy dirt and grime I would not recommend this for sure you wil scratch your car in my opinion there's really nothing better than washing your car with water for someone who lives in an apartment who does not have access to water and this would work but I would not do a waterless car wash on a very dirty vehicle like I said this is okay if you have a little bit of dust on your car and want to clean it quickly and I guarantee you'll be going through a lot of that waterless product quick
In Illinois, we have bugs the size of birds! Every time I wash my car, the front end and mirrors are covered in bugs by the end of the day. I figured I'd give this a shot and it literally makes the bug guts dissolve! I have used their Eco-Smart water-less wash, but man this Swift Wipe blows it away. I wiped my whole car down in about 10 minutes and it looks better than taking it to the car wash, plus I don't have to worry about water spots and drying my car (only to have water seep out from under door handles, the gas cap, and the trunk lit to leave water spots anyways). I usually don't leave comments/reviews, but this product is amazing!
Interesting. I always though this was the equivalent of the quik detail cleaning you do when you have a good wax or ceramic coating still holding up. I guess you could still do that with it.
What about a waterless wax that doesn’t leave a sealant? I seal and wax my car so I just want something to remove light road grime without leaving anything else that might interfere with my other products
Hi Legodude, how's it going? Ecosmart is the perfect product for you. It is our original waterless wash that contains natural Carnuaba wax instead of sealant! It will clean that dirt and grime off your ride while leaving behind that signature Chemical Guys deep wet shine! If your car was just washed and in need of a quick touch up, any of our quick detailers would be perfect for the job. They will easily and safely wipe away dust, fingerprints, waterspots, bird droppings, etc. P40 would be a great choice for you because it leaves behind a shiny layer of carnuaba wax with every wipe! I'm curious. Would this work on dirtier cars? I have a subaru and I take it off roading and such. But due to work I nearly have no time to properly wash and clean her. Would you have a stronger concentrate waterless product? Love using your towels!
Hey there, thanks for reaching out to us and watching this sweet video. Swift Wipe is up to the task definitely, the ingredients are enough to take on most dirty surfaces. For those instances where you have really bad caked on mud, I would recommend a pressure washer or two bucket method. You will be surprised how fast Swift Wipe will dissolve dirt, just remember to grab an ample amount of towels. Stay tuned for more great videos!
Cool video. Questions, how many towels would you go through on a normal caril if your doing the waterless wash and how long would a waterless wash usually take e you on a normal car.
I've been recently doing waterless wash and have been making my process better. I've gotten it down to doing my entire SUV in about 30 minutes, using about 4 or 5 microfiber towels. I fold the towels in fours, so back and front i have total of eight sides per towel.

so if you're going to clay/polish it later, why are you using a waterless wash that leaves sealant behind which is only going to help clog the clay/polishing pads up?
Great question, the sealant that get's sprayed on is not as long lasting as applying a coat of Jet Seal. The spray sealant technology works for a limited time to get keep the paint protected until you're able to apply something with a longer life span.
Hi there, thanks for watching. This might occur because of the carnauba wax. I would recommend spraying less and using finer amounts. Swift Wipe doesn't contain carnauba wax, so you shouldn't get the hazing that you do with wax. Claying your paint will help to remove that haze, and if all else fails use a quick detail spray. I cleaned some water spots from my car, and I noticed the same thing. Stay tuned buddy, more great videos coming your way. C.G. Alex -

It depends on the level of dirt! If there's more than a light layer of dust we recommend giving it a waterless wash. You can use a quick detail spray both after the waterless wash, or standalone if the dirt is light, to give your ride that gorgeous pop before your meet (or even at the meet!)

Hello! Usually it depends on how dirty the vehicle is. If you use it correctly, you would probably use about 1/3 of the bottle to clean a regular sized vehicle. Towels also vary; in most cases you can expect to use up to 3 or 4 towels.
Hi Cordell, thanks for watching! Great choice in the Ecosmart. It's what I use personally on my white car. Both Ecosmart and Swift Wipe are waterless washes. The main difference is Ecosmart contains natural Carnauba wax and Swift Wipe contains synthetic wax, or sealant. As you saw in the video, they are applied the same way. Whether you choose to go with Ecosmart or Swift Wipe, it all comes down to your preference of either wax or sealant. Both of these waterless washes will clean your car and give it that signature Chemical Guys shine! Another big difference is that currently Swift Wipe is only offered in the 16oz ready to use spray bottle whereas Ecosmart is available in a 1 gallon concentrated formula. Since I personally like to buy in bulk, I prefer Ecosmart. Thanks for being part of the Chemical Guys family, and stay tuned for more videos coming your way soon!

@@ChemicalGuys would it be ok to hose down all of the lightly caked on dust prior to using this product? There would be water spots on it after - I'd probably just let it airdry. Does the car have to be completely dry to use this product?
Hi Chris, EcoSmart contains carnauba wax and clay which lubricates and shines. Swift Wipe uses cleaners and synthetic lubricants, and uses a sealant rather than a wax for paint protection. Both products have amazing cleaning power, yet use different types of protectants to keep the paint from being damage by the sun. If you love a deep wet shine, get EcoSmart, if you're looking for a crisp clean looking shine, pick up Swift Wipe. Stay tuned for more great videos Chris, we've got one more new video launching on Friday. C.G. Alex -
We say that light to medium dirt can be taken care of with a water-less wash, anything that's very severely dirty like ultra muddy would need something really heavy duty to get the filth off. It also boils down to preference, I personally like using waterless because of the convenience factor. I won't discredit pressure washers, they are allot of fun to use. Swift Wipe is perfect for those moments when you don't have a hose, or pressure washer lying around. Swift Wipe requires no extra tools beyond microfiber towels. Stay tuned buddy, more great videos are coming your way! C.G. Alex -
Hi N, how's it going? Matte paint is extremely sensitive and in order to avoid staining, damage, or unwanted shine, we recommend using only our products specifically made for matte finishes. Meticulous Matte Detailer and Spray Sealant would be a great way to clean and protect your matte finish without damaging it or adding unwanted shine. Meticulous Matte Detailer & Spray Sealant is the first matte-safe paintwork detail spray that adds durable spray sealant protection. Meticulous Matte provides slick lubrication to remove dirt, dust, fingerprints, brake dust, bird droppings, and insect spatters without scratching sensitive matte paint finishes. What Aaron said is correct, Swift Wipe is a spray-able wash with cleaners, lubricants and gloss enhancers. Swift Wipe is meant to be an alternative to a hose, pressure washers and two bucket system. Hybrid V7 represents the quick detail category which is meant to supplement your waterless wash. You would use Hybrid V7 sometime in the week when you notice your car is a little dusty, or you notice some potentially paint hazardous fall out and you want to clean it.
Nooe not for me in 5 yrs ur paint will fade faster and thats laziness i would do the old school water wash its safer to my car paint. Quesrion what if my car is so dirty ? U know dust if u wipe them to your car paint will scratch the paint of ur car and the gloss will fade fast.
Hi James! If you use the proper technique, waterless washes can be a safe and easy to use alternative for keeping your ride looking its best. Wipe in linear motions and slowly roll the towel to create a fresh edge that prevents abrasive particles from dragging across the surface.

Hi Charles, Swift Wipe is strong enough to break up most dirt, there will be a point where the dirt is so thick that it would only make sense to rinse the car and dry it with a large towel. Hi Paul, thank you for checking out this sweet new video that we launched today. A general rule of thumb is to use a towel for each area of the car. For example using a green towel for the exterior, blue towel for the glass, and black towels for the wheels. You will use about three towels on the paint, and another few towels on the glass. If you choose to do the wheels, you're looking at about another two towels. You could use a total of 5-8 towels depending on what area you're working on. Why would anyone do this? How lazy can u get? It doesn't look like you're saving any effort or Time by doing a waterless wash. You might as well go ahead and wash the car the correct way. All the extra stuff you have to do and use just doesn't make sense to me. If someone has a good reason why you would do a waterless wash over a regular wash please let me know.
Dude don't be silly. Waterless wash won't be as effective if your car is really dirty then you'll need a heavy wash. Waterless is just to maintain clean and shiny a relatively clean car.

Chemical Guys sounds good !
What do you guys recommend?
Washing a car with water
Or waterless wash?
Or does it depend?
We say that light to medium dirt can be taken care of with a water-less wash, anything that's very severely dirty like ultra muddy would need something really heavy duty to get the filth off. It also boils down to preference, I personally like using waterless because of the convenience factor. I won't discredit pressure washers, they are allot of fun to use. Swift Wipe is perfect for those moments when you don't have a hose, or pressure washer lying around. Swift Wipe requires no extra tools beyond microfiber towels. Stay tuned buddy, more great videos are coming your way!

Chemical Guys Thanks! I will be checking your guy’s store here in Utah to buy some products 👍🏽
Can you use a spray wax after a waterless wash?
Hi Jacob! Absolutely, once the surface is clear of debris, use your favorite spray wax to add shine and protection.

Can I polish the car right after using waterless wash
Hey Luis! Before polishing, the vehicle should be decontaminated with the appropriate clay bar.

How many cars per bottle?
Hi. Is this safe on ceramic coated cars? Can be used on gas?
Hi Scott, we recommend contacting your manufacture and asking if a waterless wash that contains a carnauba base is safe for your ceramic coating. Happy detailing!
Is this safe to use on vehicles that have road salt on them?
Hey Russ, it's perfect for paint, glass, headlights, wheels and chrome. If you need to clean off any undercarriage components, I would advise using Nonsense, or the Signature Series Orange Degreaser. Swift Swipe is safe for almost anything, our products are designed to be non corrosive, or caustic. Stay tuned for more great videos coming your way Russ!.

Is this safe for any car and color?
Love the vids ❤ next month im picking some new stuff! Honeydew snow foam a new wash mitt and some spray waxes! And some towels XD
That's the spirit, you're on your way to achieving that amazing shine you've seen in our videos. We can't get enough of Honey Dew, the foam is impressive and the smell will make you want cantaloupe. You should definitely give Blitz a try , it's a spray sealant that's easy to apply, and just as easily to wipe off. Send us some pictures when of the before and after, we'd love to see your handy work. Stay tuned buddy, we've got more great videos on the way!

What’s the difference between this and Hybrid V07?
Malibu Man hybrid v7 is a quick detailer and this is full on spray on car wash
What Aaron said is correct, Swift Wipe is a spray-able wash with cleaners, lubricants and gloss enhancers. Swift Wipe is meant to be an alternative to a hose, pressure washers and two bucket system. Hybrid V7 represents the quick detail category which is meant to supplement your waterless wash. You would use Hybrid V7 sometime in the week when you notice your car is a little dusty, or you notice some potentially paint hazardous fall out and you want to clean it.
Thank you Aaron & Chemical Guys!
What song was used?
Is this product safe on tesla?
Absolutely!!
Must need a lot of towels
Which use water to get cleaned...😉
I need at least 8 towels for the whole car....for Bentley , I will use 12 towels and at least 1000ml of the solution.
@@steverogers1976 8 liters of water to wash approximately 20-30 towels ;) A normal garden hose car wash will use 150-300 litres of water and you still need to wash your drying towel ;)
What’s the most expensive car you have washed
Hey Sid, thanks for watching the video. Chemical Guys has had the privilege of working on some really beautiful and exotic cars. I would say that would have to be the McLaren 570s, I've been here for about a year now and that's the one with the largest price tag. It would be awesome to detail a koenigsegg agera, Porsche GT, Lamborghini Veneno, or a W Motors Lykan Hypersport. Stay tuned buddy, another great video is launching tomorrow.3

What about mud
Swift Wipe Waterless Wash will work amazing!
@@ChemicalGuys thanks will order some
Is this only safe if the car is only lightly dirty ?
Hi Charles, Swift Wipe is strong enough to break up most dirt, there will be a point where the dirt is so thick that it would only make sense to rinse the car and dry it with a large towel. I would say that Swift Wipe would clean light to medium, dirt heavy duty jobs require more effort. Stay tuned Charles, more great videos are on the way.

Won't this use a lot of towels to do the whole car ?
Paul Milne i use 5 towels for my car.
Thanks Matthew
Nah I use 3 microfiber towels tops, usually only two needed, one to wipe first then one to finish
LazerC4 what kind of car do you have!
Stay tuned Paul, we've got more great videos coming your way.

That supra tho. But I digress.
Happy detailing!
love these videos, hate the music haha its awful
Why would anyone do this? How lazy can u get? It doesn't look like you're saving any effort or Time by doing a waterless wash. You might as well go ahead and wash the car the correct way. All the extra stuff you have to do and use just doesn't make sense to me. If someone has a good reason why you would do a waterless wash over a regular wash please let me know.
It saves water. Also, if you're putting in more effort and extra stuff, as you say, it doesn't really sound lazy.
If it's so great, why are you still using foam washes and water?
N English true
Dude don't be silly. Waterless wash won't be as effective if your car is really dirty then you'll need a heavy wash.
Waterless is just to maintain clean and shiny a relatively clean car.
Bentleys are junk, but this is an excellent product!
Who cares about the water. It is great to use in the winter
Happy detailing!!
lol you talk to your car too
Happy detailing!
How many microfiber cloth for the car clean?
Hey! When using a waterless wash solution expect to use 6 to 10 clean microfiber towels.
