      @xenonram 6 лет назад +14

      efred22 That is the best comment. It drives me nuts when I hear the stereotypes about how women can go but all these designer clothes/shoes for themselves, but men have to abide by the "don't tell my wife" way of life. You don't like me spending money on a gun, provided it's not an irresponsible purchase and we can afford it, tough shit. (If you have to wait for payday to but something, that means you can't afford it.) I see guys saying , "when I get paid on Thursday, I'm going to buy one of those," all the time. Like dude, if a paycheck is standing between you buying something, you can't effen afford it. But you can't tell someone like that any type of financial advice because they're going to be living paycheck to paycheck for the rest of their lives. "Not all of us are in a relationship where we're treated like children" was the best way I've hear it put. Haha.

    • @Fergesslich
      @Fergesslich 6 лет назад +10

      Well, to solve the problem with annoying wifes the best advice I can give is: Don't marry! Marriage only exists to give women financial security, it was never about love, it is a tool to control the husband to compensate for staying at home and raising the kid. For me the only security a woman should need is a child or two which will bind the parents together as long as the child lives and that should be more than enough commitment. If a woman is forcing you into marriage with tactics like "You don't love me if you don't want to marry me! Don't you trust me?!" then RUN!!! I don't know the laws in the US regarding marriage but if you should ever marry then only do it for the tax benefits and make a contract that will give the woman nothing at all if the marriage should break. Women want "equality" in every part of life no matter how much sense it makes? Then forget about marriage. Well I sound like some bitter cunt that made bad experiences but I think it is just reality with a few exceptions to the rule. Excuse my bad english, I am not a native speaker. Never fully trust your woman, only trust your own blood because that is the only thing which will bind you for life.

    Shot my second match with the Shadow 2. My regular gun(s) like Glock, Sig, S&W get a “C” compared to this gun. I’m not a fanboy and this is my first CZ. It puts a smile on my face. Even at this price point, it’s worth every penny. It’s just special and feels special when you run and gun it. Five stars!

    Yeah... I know how it goes. A couple of weeks ago I received a message from my LGS asking if I was interested in a Shadow 2. She knows I’m a CZ addict and she also knows I was looking for a 1911 which she just happened to have a couple under the glass at her shop. So now I’m a happy owner of a Shadow 2 and a Colt Government Lightweight. She’s is one hell of a great sales lady.

    Eric, I bought one a few months ago. Man O man. Shocked me even though I knew it was an awesome shooter. No firearm i ever bought before ever shot like the Shadow 2. This is my first CZ. I went big right off the bat and I'm extremely happy with it. It's lonely so i need to get a few other CZs added to my collection :). Thanks for the great Video.

    • @TheExplosiveGuy
      @TheExplosiveGuy 2 месяца назад

      It's been five years, how many CZs do you have now? They're addicting once you get your first hit lol.
      I got a P-10F and fell in love with it, enough to look into getting it another CZ brother, I wanted a Shadow 2 but when I went to look for one at the gunstore they only had an SP-01 Competition, which after some consideration and discussion with the employee I bought. And I'm glad I did, as much as I wanted a Shadow 2 I am incredibly happy I got the SP-01, after a number of modifications it is actually much better than a Shadow 2, it definitely scratched my Shadow 2 itch lol.
      I mirror polished everything that moves, installed a Cajun Gun Works SAO Standard trigger kit, Race hammer, Accubushing, match grade fluted threaded barrel, flat face adjustable trigger, extended firing pin, upgraded solid pivot pins, and reinforced firing pin retainer roll pin. And that's just the CGW stuff, I also installed a DPM Systems 3-stage recoil buffer paired with a CZC frame buffer pad, topped the threaded barrel with a Volker Precision MK2 compensator which I also ported out, I deleted the firing pin block, I drifted the rear sight out to install a dovetail red dot optic mount for the Shield RMS red dot, I shimmed the sear cage to the frame to reduce spring/mush in the trigger, I swapped the grips for CZC short grips and flared magwell, and I installed a Pic rail mounted gas pedal/thumb rest. Yeah I know I could have just bought a Czechmate but where's the fun in that? I got to build this one myself, much more satisfying seeing all your work come together lol.
      The thing is a friggin competition monster, the trigger breaks at 1.8 pounds with only .002" thou of creep, with a mere .049" thou of travel. It's unfortunate how expensive a CZ addiction is, I'm already considering getting TSO😂.

    Finally found a Shadow 2 (urban grey) and jumped on it. After 150 rounds, adjusting the elevation sight screw, it is everything I’ve read, watched and researched. A heavy pistol, 9mm basically has no muzzle flip. The grip texture is awesome and it’s slightly larger than a government 1911. Can’t wait to run another 150-200 rounds soon. CZ’s are in demand.......

    So I go to make my first purchase, last week for 4th of July 2020, etc. It's a FNX 45 Tactical, but California magazines. I go back after hold and I am holding it and it feels angry. I squeezed into those diamonds on the stippling it said you'll be sorry if you shoot me... so I am cleared to buy and I go around the corner of the case 3 CZ's sitting there 2 Shadow 2's and 1 Shadow Tactical, but California magazines again. I put the second CZ Shadow 2 in my hand and it fits like it's natural. Mind blown! The CZ-75 started out entirely as a service pistol, but now the design can fit basically every single purpose that I can think of! Concealed carry? Got it. Duty? Got it. Competition? You bet your ass they make a variant that fits whatever role you want. The Shadow 2 is a piece of artwork, and I'm happy I finally own one!

  • @C-M-E

    Everybody remembers the gun they shot before they got into CZ's. Mine happened to be a custom 1911 builder that was giving me a 3 month runaround on a 10mm double stack. I'd finally had enough, got most of my money back and went with my next choice, a Tanfoglio StockII. Man, did the CZ bug bite me hard! Dumped another 600 into upgrades and accessories, did my own custom HKish black cerakote, new grips, competition mags... Wish I could take that trigger and shoehorn it into my P09SR.
    Anyway, there's 3 things the Czech's don't mess up: Symphonies, churches and guns.

    I always liked CZ and wanted one. But I purchased based on usability. So a carry gun. Maybe some rifles to use in defense scenarios. CZ has been on my radar since I first shot an 85B combat. The trigger wasnt anything to write home about but I could run it fast due to the ergos and slide design. I'm now in a place to get a CZ and I might just jump straight to the top with this one. (Albeit I'm late to the party) really cool to see you guys excited about something that isn't the next best and greatest striker polymer wonder etc.

    The ejection pattern on the pistol is near perfect. You could put a bucket on the table and they'd all fall into it. Although I wouldn't be too happy with the coating not being perfect for a $1000+ gun.

    I walked into the local police supply by my department and the “pushers” there waved this thing in my face as I was picking up my M&P 2.0. I told them no thanks like three or four times.A week later, I’m walking out with it. It’s everything as advertised. One of the funnest shooting guns I’ve ever shot. Now that I think of it, it is THE funnest pistol I’ve ever shot. If you want a gun you have absolutely no justification to buy, this is the one.

    3 CZ 82's 2 VZ58's, 1 VZ2008, 1 CZ550 in 308, 1 CZ527 7.62x39, 2 CZ 75b's I LIKE CZECH MADE GUNS.

    Hi
    You have mentioned some issues with finish of the gun which looks not consistent on some areas. Let me explain this. CZ pistol frame is done by using different technologies. It's steel cast, but some parts like checkering (not grips) are done by machine. There is also used hand polishing on some places which makes the surface little bit different. From that reason arcor finish which is used on this model maybe looks little bit inconsistent. They have now also black model with blue grips and it have also arcor but covered with black lacquer. On black model arcor surface inconsistency was bigger isuue so they have decided to use lacquer as a second layer. Anyway problem isn't in finish itself or in sraying technique it's just surface of the frame which isn't allways the same.
