- The video is one of a two-part series, where Mike and I went out fishing on the ICW in search of redfish, flounder and trout. With the air temperature getting above 60 degrees for 5 days in a row, we were not disappointed when we hit the water!

Falling behind on my viewing videos. This is a good one. Thanks for sharing
Thanks Melvin! I just released the second part of this video a few hours ago.
Love it!! Great day on the water!!
Yes! You will be out there with us next time!!!!
Vudu magic… as usual great day to be on the water. 🎣🇺🇸🎣
It was certainly a Vudu day for you!
Thanks again. Was this this last warm period, February?
This was from a few weeks ago. Just getting around to editing now.
Great day fishing for you and Mike beautiful day with blue skies and plenty of fish 🐟 Hookem to Cookem.
We had a good time for sure! Looking forward to the spring weather over the next couple of months.
Well done!! Another great day on the water!!
Thanks man! Always love warm days and a hot bite!
Me and Lexi watched this last night, and was wondering what your buddy was doing with the Vudu, for his retrieve?
Tick, tick, fall.
Yes, a twitch, twitch, pause and some procure… it’s Vudu magic. 🐟🎣
hey when you really got into the school of trout was the tide incoming?
I assume you always try and retrieve your bait with the current?
great video as always!
Last of outgoing and first of incoming. Yes, usually try to reel with the current when possible.
@@SCFishTales thanks. I have always heard retrieve with tide but have caught fish both ways. sometimes it’s easy to overthink all this stuff.
I agree. On some days I have caught fish every witch way possible. I think it has to do more with the current, moon phase, and time of year.
Hey SC fish tails. I think I recall from another video that you are in the Charleston area. I’m new to the area and looking for a place to wade fish with my fly rod. can you suggest anything near Charleston, IOP. I’m in Summerville. Thx. Love the videos
I have done it at Breach Inlet. Just don't do it on the IOP side! It's very dangerous there and the tide absolutely rips through there. You need to go on the Sullivan's Island side where the parking area is located. Can get a good number of different species there.
@@SCFishTales thanks those jetties are on my radar, appreciate the tip to stay south. I have heard some guys get in to wade the high tide on the Ben Sawyer also. Might try that. Tight lines!
@@rbuono1 yes, there's good fishing around that bridge.
Kevin, as always really enjoy your videos. Also, I this time of year I like to ask you about when this was (last few days?, may have missed it) and if you noted the water temp. Down here in Beaufort, SC I have trouble finding trout this time of year when water temps are under 55. Thanks!
51 degrees has been the ticket for me over the past few years. Anything less, the trout have lock jaw. Water temp in this creeks was 54 at the time. Early morning it was 50.
