Galatians 3:13-14
Believe God that:
If you’ve lost your job, you will get another one or the same people will call you back.
If sent on unpaid leave, God is going to turn it around to paid leave.
If you got a pay cut, the money you will receive will be enough for your needs or wants/ you will still receive the amount equal to what is in your contract.
Faith is :
what is going to get you out of your present circumstances:
what takes you from lack & insufficiency to abundance
what gets you out of your sickness to good health
it ushers us into our inheritance [Romans 4:16]
The same God who has promised you the former is the same who has promised you the latter.
Faith connects you to the miraculous
For God to move, faith has to be in the equation
Faith is to accept something as a fact without sense realm evidence (We don’t feel the existence of heaven but we believe in the existence of Heaven)
Faith is believing something you have not touched/ seen . If you have to see it or touch it, it's not faith (John 20:29)
If you are in faith you don’t stand on your feelings, you stand on the Word of God.
Kingdom people believe in order to see while the world has it the other way round (it believes only after seeing)
Types of faith
Passive (Idle) faith
Realise that faith is patient but not passive.If it's in your head it's head knowledge but if it's in your heart it's a revelation and a revelation starts a revolution.
You need active faith, not passive faith. If you don’t act on your faith (what you believe) it’s a sign you don’t believe it. True faith requires corresponding action [James 2:26]
The Godly end to faith is the manifestation of the thing you are believing God for. Faith does not come from the head, it is the heart that receives the word. Faith can work in your heart with doubt in your head. (Romans 10:10, Psalm 119:11)
Natural faith
Everyone has natural faith (Examples: believing the chair will hold my weight, taking the newspaper advert for what it says, believing in the electric switch will get the lights on or turning the ignition switch the car starts)
If we can believe natural faith, how much more should we believe in God? If I can believe man, I can believe God more.
Little (Weak) faith
Weak faith/ undeveloped faith is a sign you are not exposing yourself to the Word of God. A faith problem is a Word problem (a Word deficiency).
Faith is a rest, when you rest you don’t stress.
Feed your faith with the Word of God.
Faith feeds on & is sustained by the word of God (Feed your faith, don’t allow your faith to become faint).
Misplaced faith
Examples: Putting one's faith in the economy, education & people (Psalm 118:9)
Do not put your hope in man, man will fail you.(Psalm 60:11,Psalm 146:3), instead put your trust in God (Numbers 23:19, Psalm 121:2)
With misplaced faith, you can end up being bitter to people when they fail to come through for you.
The one who trusts the Lord will be the last man standing when the dust settles.
Great faith (The God kind of faith)
Examples: The syrophoenician woman & the centurion (Notice how these people were Gentiles (outcasts) but that didn't stop them from believing in God)\You cut
God’s supply when you put your trust in man.
Have faith in God, have the God kind of faith.This is the faith that is needed.
When we were born again we got this God kind of faith ( Romans 12:3, Mark 11:23)
If I have whatever I say, say only what you want to have (Put a guard on your mouth). You can use your words to create your future, better marriage, to create your business, fix your emotions
Hebrews 11:3 - Frame your world through the Word of God. Continue to say the same things as God even in contradictory circumstances. (Confession brings possession)
2 Corinthians 4:13 - Faith is more in the saying. After you believe, then you say. Faith can work with you saying it without you praying it. But If you pray it, you have to say it.
If you say nothing, you get nothing. If you say doubt, you get failure.
Nothing moves until something is spoken - you have whatever you say.
