State fans think their team is so amazing just because they have a less mediocre record than Michigan, who by the way everyone knew was going to be horrible before the season started, Sparty was like Top 5? 🤔
29 Seasons 16 Seasons AP Ranked in End 8 Final Fours 6 Losses in Final Four 2 Title Appearances 1 Title Very good coach, but a mixed bag. A lot of disappointing finishes/seasons.
Remember the squad of Kalin Lucas, Travis Walton, Durrell Summers, Raymar Morgan, and Goran Suton? Pepperidge Farms remembers. My issue is that they don’t compete for in season big ten championships or big ten conference tournament championships anymore. It’s like Izzo settled for making March Madness with 10 plus losses and hoping to make a deep run.
Yes regular has sucked 4 years in row. the only upside, we have made it further in march madness every year. this year should be a final four, if it continues.
Sure, if every team we play doesn't have a center. State won't be competitive as long as Izzo keeps sticking his head in the sand and pretending the portal and NIL do not exist. Blue chip recruits are going to want their minutes and their money, and Tommy is never going to play that game. So you get scrubs and project players, which aren't going to compete on the big stage. It's that simple.
Yeah it's pitiful that both Michigan and MSU are dumpster in basketball and football I hate to see both teams in football be the same as well . Except for lions sports in Michigan is going down the shit hole
I'm still trying to figure out how exactly Tom Izzo is a legendary coach, why because he's been there a long time? He's coached there almost 30 years and has one title and 7 final fours.
Read what you typed again maybe that’ll clear it up for you. Cross reference other Big Ten school’s’ accomplishments over the same time period and see how he stacks up. These guys are straining for conversation topics now that football’s done.
@@caveman3096 He's clearly been the best Big 10 coach during that time but that isn't saying much considering MSU has the last big 10 national championship. The issue is that everyone wants to put in the same category as some of the all time greats and call him a hall of famer. He doesn't belong there.
They haven’t been relevant in a while. I’m just hoping Izzo realizes sooner rather than later that it’s time to go. He goes out on his own terms but he’s been driving over the cliff. Let’s hope he hits the brakes and walks away.
Ideally State would have a former Izzo assistant who is a successful HC someone where else pining to come back to take over the program but who has Izzo had on his staff who has been a power 5 coach? Tom Crean? Anyone else?
It was time for Ken Holland to go. Sure things may not be looking good under Steve yzerman but the fan base is not about to deal with Ken Holland that much
The kirk ferentz of big ten basketball izzo
State hoops is a shell of what it was in 2009

More sparty devolution...what a terrible couple years east of lansing has had.

Funny how Rico looks sad when Mike criticized Izzo.

If Purdue doesn't show up in tournament time all hype big ten in basketball
Purdue always seems to choke, for whatever reason.
Purdue always chokes in march look at last year when they lost to a 16th seed
Hoggard needs benched.

Making tournament how couldn't a team with 65 so fucking what
There is just no motivation on this team game to game.
half of the players should just stay on the bus
All tnis Holland hate and the Oilers are cup contenders. So stupid

rico is such an aggressive slappy its genuinely embarrassing
The Final Four every 4 years was such an impossible standard. That can't be the bar
