Louisville better thank their stars Van Lith has ice in her veins! She saved their season for another game! Wow, Great performance! Drake had a chance. Great game!
Drake is now in the genius book of world records for most lay ups made in a game... 😂😂😂 They shot 99% lay ups, 1 percent of their shots was 3s and they shot no jump shots the entire game. And they still almost beat Louisville. Louisville needs to get more 4 year players that's good instead of portal players. The portal players have a hard time learning the defenses and the offensive plays. That's why Drake was able to shoot lay ups over and over again running the same play. And Louisville couldn't figure out how to stop it until the 4 Quarter of the game. I'm a Louisville fan. I'm just glad that they won.
In the women's tournament the top 4 seeds of every region host the first two rounds, it's not until the sweet 16 and elite Eight that they play at neutral sites. As for why they don't my assumption is that it has to mostly do with cost and attendance due to the fact that only the top teams generally have a fanbase that travels well. This is my assumption however.
HVL is overrated. She is a volume shooter and so she scores a lot. It is really that simple. She gets the most out of her size and athleticism. And she deserves a lot of credit for that. But she won't make it in the WNBA. And I don't think she will make it to the sweet 16 either.
overrated?? I will admit that shes lowered the bar for everyone setting it for her this year but she is not overrated…shes having an off season and STILL averages more than Georgia Amoore, VT’s lead gaurd AND Haley Jones from Stanford this year, having the 27th best average nationally. Even in this “off season” she still gets honorable mention from AP all American and, sports not included, has won second team Academic All American this year. She has been nominated for numerous awards and made first team all ACC in 2022. I dont believe an overrated player would average as much as her and continue to be nominated and mentioned for top awards. Although I do agree that she won’t make it to the sweet 16 this year, that’s not JUST her fault, this Louisville team has not been the best in general and hasnt been able to make the rankings like they typically are able to. The team has not been able to ‘gel’ together ever since they got new transfers and maybe its having an impact on her 🤷🏼♀️. She will be back next year tho and liven her true potential up. The WNBA will await her when she leaves, better and stronger than this year. Edit: and she’s heading off to the sweet 16 🎉🎉
Van Lith is a star! She wouldn't let Louisville lose, what resilience and toughness!
Hailey Van Lith and Mikasa Robinson Amazing players
Fantastic win for Louisville

The audio guy failed miserably. I have this turned all the way up.
The audio seems to be very low for all of the women matches.
Cards come to winnnnn!!!
Go Cards!

As a Louisville fan you should know the core of this team is in its 3rd year. Robinson has been there 5.

@@ItsNotReese Yep, she made the sweet 16. I think the big 12 is completely out of the tournament now. Pretty damning for that conference.
She shot 50+ % in both of the tournament games and led the games in scoring. That's good enough for me.
