I bought the same one in silver with similar spec a few weeks ago. Ive driven approx 2200 km in it so far and can highly recommend it for comfort and range. Drove from Kenmare to Dingle the drive was 101km on sat nav and the car only used 72km with the regenerative braking. Hi Derek, very good honest and fair review. Agree with you on upgrading the charging capability to 125 but I am ok with the 50 as I won’t be doing long journeys too often. Had not noticed the passenger seat rail until you mentioned it and now I won’t be able to un-see it. Really glad you showed the sun visors as they managed to get mine wrong. They installed them for a left hand drive and the plain one with the driving licence holder is on the passenger side. Sent the garage a still from your review and sure enough mine are wrong and they are ordering two new ones.
Thanks Dermott. 50kW charging will be plenty for loads of buyers. Sorry for pointing out the seat rail 😬. The sun visor thing sounds mad! Glad to be of help!
That model looks very luxurious with the Head Rests and Side Supports and Drop down Tables for the rear passengers. Lot of thought gone into those features. Looks like a great family car for those who have the Budget . Whats interesting though is how many of the new evs coming out are at what id call the luxury end of the market in terms of price. We seem to be a a way off yet before ev prices are the same as equivalent ICE prices . Well just have to keep telling people how much they'll save on fuel by charging at home.
Thanks for the comment Stephen. Price parity will be a game changer and more affordable family EV's are definitely needed. Hopefully some new manufacturer from Asia will bring this to the market.
Thanks for the comment and question Trevor. The price quoted was correct at time of filming and you can still find that price quoted online. This may be to do with the semiconductor chip shortage and the manufacturers are prioritising the higher priced models when there's a demand.
