On October 13th, 1977, Talking Heads performed at Syracuse University’s Jabberwocky music venue.
In collaboration with WAER, we present audio from the full performance, which aired on the station during the performance, as episode one of University Union Television Archives, a series displaying decades of University Union hosted concerts, performing arts events, and guest speakers.

I was there. Front row with a cheap paper "tub o'beer" (yup, you could drink at 18 back then!). You can hear how small the audience was. If you knew anything about what was going on with music in 77-78 in 'Cuse, you saw the Flashcubes many, many times and then drove through blizzards to see Elvis at the 4 Aces in Utica, followed quickly by Ian Dury.
