Right at 2:36 there was a critical error on the part of the guide, which was not padding the edge of the rock and allowing the rope to rub against the rock. Many mountain climbers have been killed this way. Totally unsafe.
Edit: To make matters worse, the guide allowed the same rope to get scraped against the unprotected rock edge over and over again. 😞

Yhea no light pollution totally changes your view of the night sky. It helps you understand why it fascinated the ancients so much and so much mythology was connected with it when you see it as clear as you can see it in only a few places these days.
