I bought a polar ceiling fan in1993, with 7 years warranty. Before 1 month to complete 7 years I forgot to call service provider, so I paid 200 Rs. For changing the whole coil then it still runs smoothly. Be&buy lndias. Is my request.

People will buy eco friendly product provided it is affordable. When your product costs a few 1000 bucks less than an AC and doesn't offer what an AC does for the price point, clearly it's not worth it. If you still profess your "Eco friendly" pov, you probably have to be an entitled first worlder, "Dale".
At least Atomberg BLDC fans are affordable at 2-3K and they also come with a remote so no need to get up. They also consume half the power of a conventional fans.

Great idea. However, it would be great if that comes with strong lighting that can illuminate the whole bedroom. It would be great if you are able to pre program the fan speed profile.
I don't think it is a silly product. I have an old school ceiling fan which is great for summer but I have to get up to turn it off some times in the middle of the night when it is getting cold/noisy.

I think it would be better with a different cue than voice command since that would require being awake. like timing it to turn on or speed up x hours before sunrise or hitting a bed temperature threshold for those who warm up a lot while sleeping
You can get a timer on the thinq app, set it to turn on and off from the cell phone at your preferred timeframe. I have and lg thinq A/C, it works with alexa and I can turn it on even if I'm not home. Also it has the timer set up and it will be on and then off automatically. I guess it will be the same with this fan as the app and thinq functionality is included.

Ceiling fans were fit it forget it for a generation. It were most affordable must have prime accessory in every household , office. 800 - 2000 rs price of branded ceiling fans form more established players like CG , Usha, Bajaj ,Orient ,etc. Installing a smart switch with cutoff regulator under 2000 rs is better option. Remote control is also available . LG should focus on what it does best like electronic Home appliances ,Smartphones
I never knew we will get to a day when getting up and taking a bare minimum walk to turn on/off/adjust a ceiling fan, will be considered a hard thing to do.
