This is one of the most innovative and smart ceiling fan design I have seen. I do not understand why this is not available in the US. This could sell in the millions, every modern home in the US would buy this unit. Please give us updates as to when we can begin purchasing this fans in the US.

If LG ceeling fan bought from India (230V 50Hz) and bring it to the Philippines and Saudi Arabia (230V 60Hz), it will run fast a bit.
I've bought two of these fans. They're really quiet,hardly use any power compared to the regular fans,have a remote, sleep settings etc.
They are quite expensive but well worth the money in my opinion

Many people are comparing this with an AC. BUT, household run ACs for about nine hours a day and consume around 800 units of power a month on an average.
SO, on electricity (@₹8/in unit) you pay about ₹6000- ₹8000 per month for an AC.
For this fan, if it runs 9hours /day, it ll consume 7units a month, you pay just about ₹60-70/month.

Great fan but has gotten a little smaller in size and seems to have a little less fan speed !
Bad experience I paid high price as it was assured to to repel mosquitoes but had proved useless and the LG SERVICE PERSONNEL had not visited to check or fix
Instead of taking 2 fan , I prefer to take 1.5 ton AC. 14500 is the cost of single fan.

I wish they use 2 AAA batteries instead of one CR2032 battery. It’s a little hard finding those CR2032 batteries in my area. I know it’ll be a little overkill but at least you didn’t need to change the battery for far longer right :-P

this LG Ceiling Fan only in India? Is it not available in other countries such as Arabic, Indonesia, Turkey, Singapore, America and English?
No. Because India is a frugal and efficiency loving country and is fast accelerating towards energy efficient devices and BLDC fans are becoming norm here(consumes 30% energy that to a conventional fan, and the conventional fans here used to consume about 50% less energy than the fans that I see being sold in western countries)..Thanks to another start up called Atomberg. You can look it up Atomberg Renesa+ models are available with almost similar spec at about 1/3 cost of this LG Fan.

But, is it really BLDC motor? I thought this is actually 3 phase AC induction motor also known as inverter motor. They both basically perform on the same principle utilizing brushless mechanism and full 360 magnetic force. The only difference is BLDC has permanent magnets, this doesn't. The efficiency though is kind of similar at this scale. Apart from the build quality and the on fan display and the silence of operation , I think atomberg Rensa+ models are much more value for money.
