If you check his singing at this event with thebig Creed Live event in 2009 you can clearly see that now he's getting MUCH better than them, he doesnt go low on the high parts like then. Damn if he only had this voice back then.
His voice was hurt in 09!
He just needed the hair back. But yea he sounds so much better.
Well, it's better than saying it got worse. The Lower tuning works beautifully well for this song. Scott is clearly healthier, therefore his vocals would work alot better.

How does he sing better in 2022 than he did in 2009. Fark
Singing the way he does with the screams and grunts is TOUGH and hard on the vocal cords. Easy to do for a song, maybe a few, maybe even a whole concert…..but the years take their toll on that style of singing. You can do just that or you can sing in a higher register. You can’t really do both for very long.
Bravo to Scott for finding the work-around. Can’t go all out like when his voice was younger. I’m hoping another Creed reunion is coming soon…
