Awesome video. We loved visiting the Arch, and Graceland! I liked Elvis but wasn’t a fan either, but in a weird way it was very moving to be there. I bought Priscilla’s book “Elvis and me” and loved it. We haven’t been able to make it to Tupelo yet, but it’s definitely on our list. Merry Christmas!🎄
I worked with a lady who was a HUGE fan in the early 70's. We would go sit in front if his house in Beverly Hills and wait for him to come back from recording (we worked the 2nd shift so we would go after work). My first concert was at The Forum and we waited all night in front of the box office for tickets. We were 2nd row and it was magical. There is no way to explain the electricity his performances had. Also saw him several times in Vegas and just a short time before he died in Ling Beach, California. I saw the house in tupelo but it was late at night. Didn't know about all the things on the grounds. I've only driven by Graceland but never stopped. Too many people for me but maybe one day. Thank you for the great tour. Isn’t it fascinating how we can remember exactly where we were when something significant happened over 40 years ago, but yet we can’t remember what we did an hours ago. We were both 11 when Elvis passed.
I was happy to see the information on Graceland and the attached RV Park. I left Nashville Thursday and came to Graceland. Little did I know it is Elvis' birthday celebration this weekend. The park is nice and quiet and safe but understaffed. Thanks again.

My kids were terrified riding up to the top of the arch and then when it would sway they were ready to leave 😂 we were there on a windy day. Enjoy all your adventures! It’s so much fun to “ride along” with you from place to place! Have a great Christmas!

Once in a lifetime going up in that tiny capsule was enough for me, but it is a beautiful view from up there...especially at night! Thanks for sharing that with us. It took me a bit of time to get to this video, really glad I watched it. The editing of this video with the pictures, video shots and music of Graceland was probably the best I’ve seen. You did an excellent job putting everything together. I’ve always wanted to go to Graceland, but don’t really need to now! At the top of his career Elvis was more popular than any other artist at the time, and after his death, Elvis and the entire Elvis brand must be the longest and most successful business of any other entertainer. Yeah, my mom had Graceland on her bucket list so in 2020 I took her to Graceland and we loved it. Don’t know if I go back to Memphis and then we went to Nashville. I want to go back to Nashville.
Glad to hear you had the opportunity to visit Saint Louis. The arch grounds was redone several years ago and I have yet to see the new museum. One of the best things about the arch is the movie. Not sure if you had a chance to watch it but it is all about the building of the arch. Safe travels and Merry Christmas!
Great video! There’s a tender spot in my heart for Elvis. Such a tragic ending to his life. I enjoyed his music and his movies were corny but entertaining. My older brother said he was in army basic training with him but there’s no proof… 😉. He was into the young Elvis look with the hair and clothes.
Me and my husband went to Missouri this past May. I had always wanted to go to the Arch and I’m trying to visit as many National Parks as possible. (It was amazing, a bit scary, but oh, so amazing. We watched the movie about how they built it. What a marvel! If you two didn’t see it there, it’s on RUclips, but don’t know if the whole movie is that was shown in the theater at the Arch.
