I kid you not, my father ran me over with a 57 Chevy when I was just 18 months old. I ran across the field between my grandparents home and mine cause Dad was leaving to go fishing. My older brother was running alongside the car asking to go with him, while I ran up from the right bumper. Her never even saw me. Thank goodness it was soft sand as the bumper knocked me flat on my face and the tire went across my back. Other than eating a LOT of sand, I was fine. So fine in fact the ER doctor tried to tell my parents I hadn’t been run over at all. Then they found the tire tracks across my back. 😮 My entire life, whenever I hear 57 Chevy, it’s all I think about.
'57 chevy was the gift received by the old man on his 70th birthday. I remember wherein the pickers, rick's restoration and count's kustoms made a special episode for that one. Miss the old man!
When I was a kid in the 70s, my brothers and I used to go to the HOBBY SHOP store GARBAGE bin on Sundays. One time, we found 10 the same gas engine models, VOLKSWAGEN bug, van, and pick up truck all BRAND NEW, we used to run them up and down the street 😮😮😮😮
When I was a kid every kid in the neighborhood had gas engine cars planes snowmobiles helecopters etc. They were the go to toys when you went to the hobby store. The nitro cars are more fun than this electric crap.Just like now it's way quicker to fill it up with fuel and play than to wait for batteries to charge.
It's actually not crazy to think that kids way back then used to go and get fuel for their cars. They weren't thinking about blowing anything up.We're hurting anyone. They wanted to have fun with their toys , that's it...
Chumbucket has no clue that the Cox .049 engine was the most common engine size in the history of model airplanes and cars from 1945 until 2006 when it stopped production. It is a 2-stroke glow plug engine that runs on methanol and nitromethane mixed with castor oil. This would have been cool information to share with watchers, but producers failed again to get good content. 😒
If their on TV, they sold it. Producers aren't stupid. They're not gonna just invite a bunch of folks out and spend all that money on transportation and production just to not get anything.
@@jaydendunn8180 You know that's never always the case, there have been many items that were not sold on the show that ended up going to auction by the seller and other places.
Odd they got it right about the first V8 dating to 1918. That's the hard one, but then they blow it claiming 1957 was the second Chevy to get a V8. Wrong, that honor goes to the 1955 Chevy which could be had with a 265 c.i. engine.
The Old Man Was Around He Would Of Bought It For $600 And Kept It For Himself Guarantee And Where Is Rick He Should Of Came Out And Offer A Little More I Know Rick Would Been Interested In That Car As Well Chum Slipping As Of Late
never been taken out of the box....Chum takes it out of the box....asks an expert to see if it's still considered "in the box" He ruined the value instantly

well done.
Why even waste your time to sell if you’re not gonna sell it after all.
Because he wanted $800 and Chumlee was probably going to offer him $200
they get a free valuation
@@Kennerad0 Yeah, that's pretty much it. And when it's something that's worth a lot, free marketing on national TV.

You have no basis for your accusations. Spreading rumors as an adult is wild.
