I still sometimes struggle the proper definition of 'sacrifice' in chess terms. However, this really makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the great analysis
It's not really a fair question because if he wanted to be a GM he would have been. But he was only interested in playing beautiful games. He could have gone to tournaments and played to get the point, but he passed on a lot of opportunities and when he sat down it was for his art.
@@zaayd That's not my analysis, other people have remarked that he left easy draws to go for wins and played as aggressively against strong opponents as he did against weaker ones. GM Ben Feingold also said that he was very strong and could have been a GM.
@@zaayd I never heard him say that. There is not much video or audio from him. Mostly, other people have talked about him. Sort of like the playground legend that everyone thought could play in the NBA, Earl Manigault, or someone like that. #Legend
I always learn something new when I watch your videos. Like the concept of good vs bad bishop. It is the subtle little tips that help out huge in my own play.
Idk if you read my comment about you speaking to fast and you should slow down for your audience that are not native english speaker. But now I can say that you are talking slower and i can understand you much better. Cheers mate!

I allow manipulation to find out where my enemy wants me to go. Then I use my mind to break the trap and punish the perpetrators.

If you're giving up more material for the move it's a sacrifice

Mindblowing genius of a man rip emory tate

Is this speculation or did he say this?

Great analysis as always! Tate's mind games are insane
Thanks, agreed 💪
Love E Tate, but Nezhmetdinov is without a doubt the greatest IM
It would be cool to see a game between Andrew and Emory
Emory would smoke him lmao, Andrew would put up somewhat of a fight tho, there’s like a 500 Elo difference
@@loganbair9562 I thought it was a lot more than 500
@@ChrisFood it's a 900 Elo difference
Tate is 1600, Emory is 2500
2:15 omg I just played game like that
He was GM 2500 Elo=Gm
That's his USCF raring. His peak FIDE was 2413. Not GM.
Great video, but what would have had happened if he didn’t take the rook sacrifice?
The g5 pawn was falling
that was a great video, I love the tates and I really like how we emory Tate plays. Thanks for the analysis to.
Glad you enjoyed it!
My G!!!

Nezmetdinov beat a prime Tal. Tate wouldn't beat Tal even if Tal were on his death bed.
That's an oddly false statement
@@TheReal_GigaChad You think Tate could take a game over a prime Tal? Don't make me laugh.
thank you lol someone else knows about Nezh. Not only did he beat a prime Tal, he beat him 3-1 in classical OTB games, dude was a machine

Bro he was decent, nowhere near a strong IM tho.. cmon hahaha

What do you mean nowhere near a strong IM? An IM who can obliterate GMs is a strong IM
